Macron is one of those enthusiastic, committed, dedicated members who this club cannot do without, and who we are forever in need of far more of. In the many years I have know him -- and many years it is, half a decade in fact -- Macron has remained someone I have been able to place my trust in at all times as a fellow brother. While he may once have been that newbie with the tattoos, he has grown into a true veteran of the Clan, a Son of Sadow, and a firm stalwart of now the House. While I could write pages about what Macron Goura has done during his time here in the Dark Brotherhood, I see no point in wasting my or anyone else's time, for I would simply be stating the obvious. For that reason, I shall focus instead on what I consider to be his greatest contribution. Where the Brotherhood faces a recognised problem with member retention, Macron has consistently been one of the few elders who I have seen putting in the work to train the next generation, having nurtured numerous Apprentices through to Dark Jedi Knight. I have always considered the training of new members to be the greatest service that anyone can give to this club, beyond any amount of run-ons or wiki articles, for without new blood the Brotherhood would wither and die. For that, I salute Macron, and forever feel in his debt for what he does for the club as a whole. Beyond everything else he may have done, it is his continuing dedication as a Master to other members that in my eyes is his crowning achievement -- and something I freely admit shames many of us, myself included, who cannot say we have done the same. It is for that reason that I find myself congratulating -- and thanking -- Macron yet once more, for everything he does not just for the House, not just for the Brotherhood, but for his Apprentices and the members of tomorrow. Thank you, my old friend. It's always an honour to have you by my side as a fellow Sadow. - Lord Xanos Zorrixor, Son of Sadow

Greetings and Salutations; There are many places, many groups of people who would consider the voice of one beneath their position to be offensive, or annoying at best. I don't feel this is that kind of forum, but were it, I still would not hold my voice. For some, the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is a very large, very impressive, perhaps intimidating organization, made up of a myriad of things in which one could participate. It is, for some, a place where the various and sundry with more time in, can seem unapproachable. Certainly, these are the reactions of the timid, to a degree, but everyone has to begin somewhere. My time here, though I feel some shame in admitting it, began with this timid behavior, too nervous to ask for help for quite some time, and too shy to attempt to forge real relationships and friendships. This has changed, something for which I am most grateful, and there are things intrinsic to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood which helped considerably with that. One aspect of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is the Master and Apprentice program, easily the first big step in making such a large place seem more comfortable, whereby a newcomer might take these early steps into becoming a part of a larger whole. Once I reached the rank where I could request a master, I immediately asked how I went about it. I followed the instructions I received, and very shortly thereafter, I had the distinct privilege and honor of meeting Macron Goura Sadow.

From day one as his apprentice, he encouraged me, guided me, and was, in every way, shape, and form, what I truly think is the definition of a mentor. I'm prone to wild flights of fancy, and when necessary, he explained why my grandiose ideas weren't suitable, but still encouraged me to try all the same. When I had questions, he had answers. When I was stuck, he provided the leverage to get me loose. Above all of these things, he kept me on track. Without him, I might still be foundering in the middleground of Journeyman, instead of wearing my knighthood with the pride and honor I can only hope he would respect. Thanks to him, I am now a master to an apprentice, armed with the tools I need to see my own grow to their own power. I'd never have that without him, and I am truly grateful. The point of my speech is that, I feel that now is the time that Macron's efforts be brought to light, and awarded the highest merit award that the Dark Jedi Brotherhood can bestow upon one of its members, the Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Thank you for your time. - Dark Jedi Knight Venator of Naga Sadow, Order of the Obelisk #11584

Mac is a voice amongst the summit that is always needed. He provides us insight on the work that Sai and I do for the house, and is another leader that stays in the shadows backing us up. From June 30th to October 1st, he was the Consul and Quaestor of Naga Sadow. His work including the beginnings of the inner order revamp, our Prefect revamp, making sure that the house was secure after the downsizing, and taking care of the Naga Sadow wiki Audit. Recently during the Disorder vendetta, while he had just resigned from Quaestor, he made sure his voice was still heard to the members of Naga Sadow, inspiring members to do more, while he himself participated in eight events. After the vendetta he still worked hard, including fleshing out one of our moons in the Orian System. And just recently, he brought newest apprentice Venator to the rank of DJK, his 5th apprentice, and shortly after took on a 6th, to make sure that another member would make it to the rank of DJK. For his work as Consul, Quaestor, his participation in the vendetta, his wiki work, and always helping out new members, I wish to recommend my friend Macron Goura Sadow a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congrats bud, its truely deserved. ~Prelate Fremoc Pepoi, Aedile of Naga Sadow

Macron has been working like a madman. After all his hard work as the QUA of HNS he stepped down in the title but is still going strong. Helping out on projects as well as getting others involved. He took part in the vendetta and even played as an ambassador to another House with the battle Plant Event, so well in fact he received complements from the members of that House who took part. Macron is here to have fun and he shows it while passing it along to those who ask to be involved. He deserves this medal! Congrats my old Master!! - KAP Jade Sadow

Mononoke is truly deserving of much more than I can currently give him, but I’ll begin with a Grand Cross of The Dark Side. Since I joined the DB, he has been a constant influence on my own career as well as others that surround him. His passion and fervor for his House and the Club is hard to duplicate, and that enables him to continue to be a voice of goodwill. His work is beyond compare, and his leadership has influenced my own. Mac is a trusted voice of both reason and dissent; a rare quality in one so advanced within the Club. Rather than become jaded or take on an elitist attitude, he is quick to remember what it is to be a new member and strives to make any and all who cross his path. In fact, his recent guidance of his fifth - count ‘em, 5 - Apprentice to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight illustrates his willingness to give of his own time and energy to ensure the enjoyment of those who will seek his counsel. Therefore, it is for the above reasons and others to numerable to count that I wholeheartedly lend my name to the list of recommendations for Mononoke to receive this award. Congratulations, Mac-iavelli! ~ Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, HNS Quaestor and Son of Sadow

Fremoc Pepoi, he wears many hats here in the db. He is Aedile of House Naga Sadow and P: Fist, those are just the official titles he holds. His activity during the vendetta was extraordinary, participating in every event. Earning a silver nova on the battle team event. Besides this activity in the vendetta, he is someone who the newer members look up to. His constant presence on IRC allows those new members to quickly see that this is someone who knows the workings of the club and can then come to him for questions. Fremoc also was a main contributor in the recent arc of the HNS run on. Fremoc cares little about personal gain; his only wish is to see that others have fun in the club. In my opinion he has succeeded in every avenue. While I do not know what exactly he does in the Fist office, I know within House Naga Sadow he is someone who inspires people to be as active as they can be. His own constant flurry of activity makes him a person who leads by example. There are very few days that he isn’t working on a project or writing a post for the run on that is occurring and if he is not doing that is his gaming with others in the house. Fremoc is a great person and a great leader. I enjoy working beside him as Rollmaster. He is a insight of knowledge, anytime I have a question about something he almost immediately give me insight on what to do to make it better or even why it won’t work. Fremoc Pepoi deserves this award, it is a way to say thank you for everything that you do and continue to do with in the house and out.
Templar Teu Pepoi, House Naga Sadow Rollmaster

Fremoc has been taking part in a lot of activities lately, with one of his biggest being the P:F. He has been coming up with some ideas in how to keep people gaming and trying to get more people involved. Through his actions he has tried to spur a general movement within HNS, a House not well known for its gaming side, to do some gaming. He has also used his role to make sure in the vendetta that he took part in events and got others to take part in the gaming. He nearly did all of the events in the vendetta and has recently taken on the role of AED in HNS. He deserves this award. Congrats my apprentice!! KAP Jade Sadow

Fremoc is the definition of dedicated worker in the Brotherhood. His work with the Fist during the RoS as well as all his regular duties as P:Fist could be a strain on an average person but Fremoc manages to do those duties as well as stepping up and taking the Aedile spot for House Naga Sadow and hitting the ground running in that job as well. During Disorder Fremoc showed great dedication and support for the Obelisk Order by doing a whooping 15 out of the 16 events. In those events he place 3 times earning 2 1st place spots and a 2nd place spot. It is because of his not just numerous projects he works on but the amazing quality they turn out to be, that I believe Fremoc deserves to be awarded a Sapphire Blade. -Kano Tor Pepoi

Since taking over the HNS Quaestorship, I’ve had a few members influence me with their wisdom, their energy, and their own love for the House – but none more so than Fremoc Pepoi. This young man has made it a true pleasure to lead the House, as he embodies the sort of member that should obligate the leadership not to fail them. Fremoc is constantly looking for ways to improve the House and Club, and encourages others to do the same. He participated in nearly every event in the recent Vendetta, allowing his example to speak for his dedication, not rhetoric. Further, his work in the FIST’s office has made House Naga Sadow a force to be reckoned with in the gaming arena, a quality our House has sorely missed as it strives to be a competitor amongst the other Houses. As Aedile, his judgments are sound, his developing insight has proven to be invaluable and his humility allows him to seek wise council when he has questions. Fremoc is not afraid to take risks, either: a crucial quality to possess, in my humble opinion, if one is to learn and grow as a leader. Therefore, it is because of the above that I gladly lend my name to the list of recommendations to award Fremoc a Sapphire Blade. Congratulations!

Teu is worthy of serious commendation. Her work as Rollmaster is the glue that holds our Master-Student program together. This program has a long history of excellent RM’s, and Teu delivers the goods. Her service in the Vendetta was also remarkable. Six events while busy with college in RL. Of those a silver Nova for her Battleplan entry is most notable. Teu is one of those often overlooked, and it with this in mind I fully recommend her for this award. She deserves it. ~Macron Goura Sadow, Son of Sadow, Consul Emeritus

Teu, has preformed well over the last few months, ranging from being the Battleteam leader of Primus Goluud, to currently the Rollmaster of Naga Sadow. She set the ground work for the battleteam, making sure that her team was solid. When Malisane resigned, she stepped into the position, and immediately began work welcome new members, working on our Black Guard and making it into a Journeyman only perk, and making sure that our Master/Student Program was up to date as well as running smoothly. During the vendetta she participated in eight events, including the battleplan event where we placed second. For her achievements as Battleteam leader, Rollmaster, and for her participation in the Vendetta, I wish to recommend her for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congrats Teu! ~ Prelate Fremoc Pepoi, Aedile of Naga Sadow

Teu has been working hard at getting people to get involved. Recently she has stepped up to take the position of House Roll Master and is implementing her ideas for how to keep the new members interested as well as how to change up the Master Student Program to get more people involved and active in it. Congrats my apprentice, and keep up the great work!! - KAP Jade Sadow

Teu has shown great levels of dedication and hard work in order to help the growth of House Naga Sadow. That work has been made apparent with her work as a BTL and her recent work as the House Rollmaster. Those things combine with her efforts during Disorder make Teu more than qualified for a Grand Cross. - Kano Tor Pepoi

Teu Pepoi is as invaluable a member and leader as I’ve ever met. She is the type that does her work quietly and efficiently, and does so without gripe or complaint. Why? Because she possesses that quality that many members may not: the commitment and internal fortitude to do the job, and well, because it needs to be done. I’ve watched her grow as a leader as BTL and now as HNS’ Rollmaster, and her steady hand has had a positive influence on the members who cross her path, having overseen the Knighting of no less than three Journeymen. Though a largely logistical position, her steadfastness has garnered an unprecedented respect for the RM office, as she has instilled a sense of accountability in both myself and Fremoc as well as those ‘senior’ members who take part in the Master-Student Program, largely contributing to its success. Further, Teu still found time to participate at a high level in the last Vendetta, despite the pressures of a full RL situation. Therefore, I humbly add my recommendation to those requesting she be awarded a Grand Cross of The Dark Side. Congratulations! ~ Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, HNS Quaestor and Son of Sadow

Of the up and coming generations of recent years, Kano is one of the people who jumped out at me early on as destined to go places. It's always hard to put a finger on it and know quite what it was that makes one think "He's got potential" but Kano has always been someone who I have said "He's got potential". Ever since I first knew him, he has always been active and -- even now -- he still has that youthful enthusiasm that makes one feel nostalgic for back when "I was a boy", as the saying goes. Specifically, Kano is one of those people who simply seems to effortlessly gel with the community as a whole, getting on with other people, leading by example, as his regular activity in events such as the ongoing run-on shows. More recently, his appointment as Battleteam Leader of The Regulators is set to give Kano the opportunity to help shape the future of the House at a time where we battle to regain Clan status, in which we face whatever challenges tomorrow brings. In this current climate, it will be those exemplary members such as Kano that will make all the difference, and for that reason Kano fully deserves whatever commendations we can give him. Congratulations, Kano, we are in your debt. - Lord Xanos Zorrixor, Son of Sadow

Kano is one heckuva member. Since his last elevation on 4/22/2010 he continues to be highly active. He has earned a plethora of honors, including an Anteian Cross, a Dark Cross, 2 Amethyst Crescents, 2 Sapphire Crescents, 4 Emerald Crescent, 1 Topaz Crescent, 2 Quartz Crescent, a Seal of Loyalty, 14 Seals of Defiance, 2 dark Side scrolls, 10 Clusters of Ice, 110 Cluster of Fire, and a Pendant of Blood. Most impressive. I am so very pleased to see his performance in this last vendetta. He participated in 14 events and took home a gold and silver nova. Kano adds might to our gamers, something NS has lacked for a long time. Kano is consistently active, and asks for things to do regularly. As well, he is the BTL of the remaining battleteam in Naga Sadow, the Regulators. He posts regular reports, a vital necessity as a leader. He has run 5 competitions in that time. He also now serves as M:Fist. He has gained entrance to the GMRG. In short, he works hard, leads from the front, and is someone that deserves commendation. ~SWL Macron Sadow, Consul Emeritus, Son of Sadow

Kano Tor Pepoi, he is someone I have known for a while. Always busy with in the house. During the Vendetta he participated in most, if not all, of the events. Recently he has been named the Battleteam Leader for the Regulators and has been busy working on the ground work on that, from the point system to the graphic to everything in between. He was just recently named magistrate to the fist. However positions is one thing, it’s the integrity behind it that makes Kano ready for this promotion. He is almost always working on some project for his battle team. He’s a near constant presence on IRC and willingness to help out on something makes him a vital part of the house. His character development within the run-on makes it a interesting read. I expect to see a lot from Kano. Only time will tell. I fully agree with this recommendation for a Grand Cross Of The Dark Side. Congrats Kano. -Templar Teu Pepoi, House Naga Sadow Rollmaster

The resident Mandalorian. Kano is one of the top notch people we have in this house. And although he left Naga Sadow for a month’s time, I do not think that should be held against him. Since his promotion to Templar in April, Kano has been Battleteam leader to the Night Raptors, Primus Goluud, and now The Regulators. Since his last promotion, he has earned, an Anteian Cross, a Dark Cross, 2 Amethyst Crescents, 2 Sapphire Crescent, 4 Emerald Crescent, 1 Topaz Crescent, 2 Quartz Crescent, a Seal of Loyalty, 14 Seals of Defiance, 2 dark side scrolls, 10 Clusters of Ice, 110 Cluster of Fire, and a Pendant of Blood. Quite the load for a man at the rank of Templar. Since his return has been working non-stop, doing any task asked of him. He was instrumental when I asked the members of #dbgaming in helping me update the GMRG wiki page. He wrote up the history as well as how one can rank up in the GMRG. During the Vendetta he participated in fourteen events, placing 1st in Republic Commando Gaming for week one, and assisted in the Battleplan event that got second. After the vendetta, it was found that some of the battle teams where lacking in their numbers, and it was determined that there would be a downsizing for the teams, making them into one large unit. Kano was chosen to do the job, creating an entirely new team, taking aspects from different kinds of ranking systems, and twisting them for his team to use. He’s planned out nearly every aspect of his team, its base location where members could stay if they choose, their training, the weapons, the logos, and the armor. Most recently he’s been given the position of Magistrate to the Fist, and will begin working for myself and Smoke on various projects. I do believe though, Kano has earned this promotion without a shadow of a doubt, so I hereby recommend Kano Tor Pepoi for the Grand Cross Of The Dark Side. Congrats brother. ~Prelate Fremoc Pepoi, Aedile of Naga Sadow, Praetor to the Fist

Kano has been a power horse, getting involved and really looking for a way to help better improve the activity of the House and the DJB as a whole. He is always up for taking on a leadership spot, and enjoys taking both new members and old members into the realm of Star Wars and the DJB. Recently he even went out, bought and finished the new Force Unleashed game to give a review for everyone in the club. He has been putting out competitions, taking part in competitions, and was a great source of activity in the recent vendetta. With the new order of the House he is taking on the only Battle Team Leader role and has some great ideas in how to get an entirely new team up and running with a new history and activity opportunities. Kanos is doing an amazing job and definitely deserves this Grand Cross Of The Dark Side, congrats on all your hard work Kano!! - KAP Jade Sadow

Kano represents the type of member that any competent leader should, and would, kill for: dedicated, enthusiastic, and loyal. His energy is infectious, and his work ethic is beyond compare: he made a point to participate in nearly every Vendetta event that was offered. It was this drive that led him to be named BTL of the only remaining BT in HNS as of this writing; after all, those who lead from the front should be given the tools and support to do so. Further, Kano’s loyalty is without question, as evidenced by his Seal of Loyalty. Even though he did ‘test the waters’, as it were, by briefly transferring to another House, he remained a stalwart of the Sadowan Way: Respect for oneself and others above all else. I believe that those with whom he crosses paths are left all the better for it, including myself: as an ‘aging’ member of HNS, it does my heart good to know that its direction is and will continue to be shaped by Kano and others like him. Therefore, it is without hesitation that I gladly lend my name to the list of recommendations for Kano Tor Pepoi’s Grand Cross Of The Dark Side. Congratulations! ~ Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, HNS Quaestor and Son of Sadow
