Generally the most glaringly obvious reason for a promotion is the member’s activity level. While David is an active contributor to the Clan, who can always be counted on to help out in any competition, I would give a more important reason for this specific promotion. Even though he has remained a Jedi Hunter for more than a year, David has stayed loyal to Clan Taldryan. He has been overlooked time and time again for promotion or reward, but instead of getting angry or leaving; David just quietly contributes to his Clan and asks for nothing in return. This Clan loyalty is incredible, especially considering he hasn’t even been granted his lightsaber yet! Jedi Hunter Jyx Zirv-Zinor is one of the few members of CSK that takes challenges to heart and does his best to succeed at their fulfillment. He is an asset to our Clan, that should go without saying, but more so - he is part of our struggling family. Some time ago, the leadership of Clan Satal Keto devised a modified set of advancement guidelines to facilitate the melding of the Orders. For so long we 'stipulated' between Sith, Obelisk and Krath in a way that seemed to foster their segregation, but with the approval of the new guidelines, each member faces the same 'core' tasks for promotion. It should never be the policy of any leadership echelon to 'give' rank away, and Jyx's case was no exception. I must say, that his QUA and I pressed him to work a bit harder because we knew that he will some day take his place among the leadership - and in that, would require the skills and understanding that initiative, drive and effort can bring. He has completed his requirements to be elevated to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. His trials took him from merely attempting success at House and Phyle level, to competing within the Clan and then the Brotherhood while placing his "Krath Order' 2nd and his membership to the Brotherhood 1st. His trials also required his expansion of DB knowledge, the workings of the Clan summits and even into the roll of RM in Aleema. Jyx is a character, I'll have to give him that, and most who know him will agree - but his passion for the Brotherhood exceeds his antics more times than none. He remains professional when necessary but is boisterous enough to keep from being boring. We hope for his continued service to the Clan as he expands the scope of his knowledge and participation, but for now - the younger members will look to him for guidance as they begin their journeys to attain their sabres. It is with pride that I request that JH Jyx Zirv-Zinor join the next level of accomplishment, be sent to build his first sabre, and be granted the elevation to Dark Jedi Knight.

Kandos has bean an asset to Qel-Droma in the past six months. Even though he has his quiet periods, he always remains active. He won several ACC battles in the last Sith War, and was also quite active in the recently held Phyle War. That, combined with the fact that he's been a JH for six months now, is reason enough to award him with his lightsabre. Congratulations, Kandos :)

As stated by the AED of HMR and endorsed by myself the QUA of said house,

Where to start… even though Muz Ashen has been promoted to Jedi Hunter only recently, he has completed his trials already, and even more.

<>Even though the Independence Games are far from over, Muz has already submitted to many events, ranging from fictions to graphics and quotes. He is on IRC most of the time, and keeps in contact through most other means of communication as well. Everything I asked him to do, was done in a startling amount of time. A 14-page cooperative fiction, of quite good quality, was written in a matter of days. Master Assigned Tasks I set for him were all completed within a day or so, and again, of good quality. His Lightsaber fiction has been completed without even being asked to do so. And on top of that, he has written an extremely funny story about all of the cliché’s in Clan Naga Sadow.

So, even after the short amount of time spent on Jedi Hunter, I deem him worthy for another promotion. Congratulations, Dark Jedi Knight Muz Ashen.

This has been some time in the making, but I am glad to say, it will finally come about.

For several months now, Anshar Kahn has not only been one of the more active Quaestors, he's proven to be as dedicated to Tarentum, and her success, as any member who has been in for all their DB career. I've appreciated Anshar's dedication in providing competition, and staying active and present. His house benefits from his experience, as well as his good amount of online time.

I've spoken with Rekio, Alanna, and also Jac on this promotion, and all of us agree on this promotion; it is high time that Anshar threw off the restraining mantle of Epis, and moved closer towards the coveted terrace of the Elders. I congratulate you, Anshar, on your achievements, and your dedication with the Envoys, as well.

Your presence and work has been excellent, and I hope you continue on, my friend.
