Since he completed his Phase 2 work, he has completed two Academy courses (Leadership and DJ Meditation), and placed in two contests (1st in Dear Diary, 2nd in the Clan's System Competition). Also, he deserves credit for general activity within the House.

I hereby wish to recommend Acolyte Kalinor for a promotion to the rank of Protector. To my shame, I must admit that I should have recommended Kalinor a whole lot earlier. He has been an Acolyte for over six months now, and has shown consistent activity during that period of time. He recieved no less than four medals for high activity or high quality submissions. On top of that, he also had a good IRC presence. In my opinion these achievements fully warrant a promotion to Protector, and it pains me to see the activities of a hard-working member of Qel-Droma having been neglected for such a long time. Normally, I wait for a while before promoting to Knight, but I think Obscurus is one of the few cases I've seen where I can't promote him fast enough. I took the time to stretch it out a bit because I wanted to get another look at his writing skills, to see improvement. I had the opportunity to battle him in the ACC, and his skill with writing himself, and other people, is just phenominal.

Obscurus is constantly looking to help me however he can, and as my Apprentice, it has been appreciated for the past year and a half. He's been my Apprentice for about as long as he's been in Tarentum, and throughout that time, he's developed into a member who seeks to devote himself to two things: having fun, and trying to make the DB better. I've seen a number of good ideas come from him, that he has sent to myself, and to Jac and FF. They may not get used, but they are still completely thought through, and show that he spends time trying to give back.

I think Obscurus is ready to ascend to that hallowed rank of Knight, and join the ranks of those of us who have moved beyond the initiatory ranks through JH, and seek greater advancement in the Force, and in the DB as a whole. I offer my full congratulations to him, and will continue to await the good things that will surely come from his career.

Since Brat's return to the house, he has been active in many ways. He got involved in the master/student program. He also has participated in a few competitions as well. A promotion for him has been waiting for a while and his recent activity is enough to merit a promo. Good job Brat.

Bane has been consistently active since his last promotion 2 months ago. Not only has he participated in every competition the clan has held, he has also participated in numerous DJB wide competitions. Bane has been a serious role model for all the members of his Brigade, and his clan as a whole.

I haven't always been able to watch the members of the other Houses, especially with only being named PCON very recently. But I can honestly say that Zeno has always been active from what I've seen, and his Quaestor, Rekio Corsair, has also noted that Zeno is a committed member, and is always consistant with his activity. I think Zeno shows a level of committment and attitude that I've always tried to encourage in tarentum, even though I haven't been a Clan Summit before this. I think Zeno is more than deserving of this reward, and Rekio Corsair, his Quaestor agree (but he allowed me the opportunity to put Zeno up for promotion on this). :)
