This normally falls into the line of the Quaestors of the respective Houses, but in an unofficial capacity, Jac has asked me to help maintain Tarentum as an Interim Consul, and I believe part of that is keeping an eye on the membership whom I serve, for the time being.

X-Pilot has been, for the last few months, extremely active, both over email, and IRC. I remember in the time before the split, this was a pattern he had set forth eagerly. He's been given command of the Brigade in Cestus, and keeps his troops well-informed, and has events planned for them to be active. He also makes himself available for play, for training, and is also showing activity for the Inter-Club training, to promote our beneficial alliances.

I'd like to think that as X-Pilot continues these examples of activity and behavior that he can help his Quaestor rebuild the Obelisk of Cestus, and he can be a beneficial tool of training and activity for those who serve under him. I think he'll be a role model, and a sort of portrayal of the hopes and dreams of those whom he leads, and as such, I find it appropriate to recommend him for this, and see him as worthy to receive it, and I do so as a Quaestor in his Clan, and one who has the honor and duty of watching over the Clan in the absence of her rightful CON.

Since becoming QUA Crix has shown only the highest levels of activty. While my email and his have not always liked each other, he has still managed to keep me updated and is a very frequent participant of IRC disucssions. His work as QUA so far has been outstanding considering what he has to work with (very few members). He has recruited veterens and got them rejoin, and also has created an excellent long and short-term plan that he is sticking to quite well. He has also gone over a year without a promotion, which he probably has deserved for quite some time. So without a doubt in my mind he deserves this promotion!!

Since I have been CON, Shaithis has demonstrated an extrodinary level of activity. He became AED and since then has provided prompt weekly reports and has done an excellent job of motivating his members and keeping me involved and informed. He has participated in comps, as well as organizing them, leading by example. He has also already submitted to Project: Restored Glory several times, which just started yesterday. This sort of activity is something for other members to measure up to, and therefore he definatly deserves a promotion to DJK!

Blade has proven to me that he is a very hard worker and is currently working on our house site. He is willing to do any task that you assign him and accomplish it to perfection.

I he a goreat assest to this house and that is why I feel he is ready to go on and become a GRD.

I've known Obscurus for a long time, and have known him throughout all of his various name changes. ;) Throughout that time, he has worked not only in the DB, but was also an active part of the EH Senate for some time before the split, as well. I think this recommend has to encompass everything I've seen him go through for quite some time, including a bit that's retroactive, I suppose, for his efforts in our sister house of Cestus, which he was a part of for some time before the split.

During his time in Cestus, he was a SGT of one of their brigades which was on the decline. He took six members who wouldn't even respond to emails, and at least got them communicating somewhat, even though the members themselves seemed unwilling to do much more. He was determined to do what he could to restore their activity, and never let himself falter along the way, even though it was not to be so. I think sometimes, as Summits, we have failed to recognize people for their successes, even when it is a mere spark of hope under a pile of failure. His limited success was not his fault, since no one can force another man to insert a CD in his comp, and whole-heartedly play a game. But his success was measured by the fact that he showed true leadership, and never faltered in attempting to make them better than what they were.

I realize now how much I appreciate him coming back to Gladius after the split, simply because he has been an apprentice to me, and a friend for some time, and he is one who knows the way I think, and the way I work, and can help make my efforts greater by offering suggestions and assistance in ways that I normally wouldn't be able to achieve. I think, sometimes, Summits need to take more recognition of what people have done, and continue to do, and pay less attention to what people haven't done, simply because the best way to cultivate successes and greatness is to find them where they lay, and coax them out of their shell.

I consider Obscurus worthy of a tangible result to his efforts that had culminated some time ago, as well as for those he continues to make, and recommend him for this promotion as such.
