It is my pleasure to once again recognize Len Iode. Since his last promotion he has participated in 104 competitions, 50 PvE activities, 2 ACC Battles, 14 Fiction Activities, 22,677 Words of Fiction, 9 Run On Posts for 4,721 words, 19 Shadow Academy courses, and 3 Shadow Academy Degrees. During these endeavors he accumulated the following awards: 1 Sapphire Blade, 1 Grand Cross, 1 Anteian Cross, 1 Gold Nova, 1 Silver Nova, 2 Crescents with Ruby Star, 7 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 4 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 1 Crescent with Emerald Star, 3 Pendants of Blood, 388 Clusters of Fire, 68 Clusters of Ice, 26 Clusters of Earth, 30 Clusters of Graphite, 1 Legion of the Scholar, 1 Seal of Loyalty, 13 Seals of Fury, 10 Seals of Discord, and 13 Seals of Visions. In addition, he has been an active presence in news post comments tallying up 45 news post comments. Sometimes when members climb the upper echelons of Equitehood they forget to do our clubs most fundamental activities, which are key. In contrast, Len Iode has remained an active member, whether he was in a leadership position or not. He stuck around for both the big stuff (3 GJWs, Clan events) and the little stuff in between. That dedication requires setting aside time for the club and not everyone can do it. Len Iode did though and for that I am very proud of him.
In addition to pure activity, Len Iode has contributed as a leader to the club, through engaging in clan leadership and helping the Dark Council. He served 3 months as Aedile, 18 months as Rollmaster, and 12 months as an Appeals Panelist. During this time, he earned a Sapphire Blade and a Grand Cross.
Each of these awards goes into a great deal of detail so I’ll instead focus on the highlight reel for his Clan work. First, I still remember the “emergency pup meetings” for our new joins, which never came at a good time or weren’t necessarily quick but they were very helpful to our newer members. The huddles he would lead to solve their problems quickly were always appreciated. Second, I remember his community projects/experiments like the mentor system, the telegram roleplay chat, and the new join chat. Each required bravery and the willingness to see something through to the end to solve very real problems. Moreover, they helped inform future solutions in use today. It’s easy to give up but Len stuck through it and helped our community in the process. Third, he helped run the Clan as a fill in PCON, during which he was there if I needed him, no matter what the tasks or even in emergencies. One memory that comes to mind is the two of us polishing off clan documents together, where a second point of view is very much appreciated. These documents eventually led to stuff like oh you know the creation of House Sunrider for example. Fourth, perhaps his favorite passion project, the Loyalist Academy on Kiast. Odan-Urr already had a home for its Jedi to train but Len created for us a home for our Loyalists to train that catered to their unique needs. This detailed creation even included facilities, training, and uniform standards. In short, a special place for a class of characters that can be popular in our clan.
Those are the highlights, but it's worth reading the awards themselves. Len Iode has been a dedicated leader and member, pouring in his passion for the club and its community. For the time and energy you have put into the club and our own little corner of it here in Odan-Urr, I am proud to recommend that Len Iode be promoted to the rank of Equite 4. Well done and congratulations!

Odan-Urr’s EQ4s are all individuals who came in as active members and who shifted from being consumers of DB competitions to the people putting in the work to keep things running, without losing their identity as an active member in the process. Len certainly lives up to that. He was on my summit for my entire term as consul. In many DB jobs, the stress and work requirements are offset by prestige, influence, awards, or simply getting to use a unit as your personal toybox. Len contributed to Odan-Urr for years without much in the way of those perks. As aedile, Len was often tasked with supporting the vision of a very different leader, Maximus Alvinius, with which he did not always agree. They made an effective team because Len’s dedication to Satele Shan was always foremost, and their partnership was a high point in the house’s history in terms of activity and member participation.
Len then moved on to rollmaster, which he held for a year and a half during a particularly difficult time for that position. Recruitment and retention are existential issues for this club and, as RM, Len served as the point person on the COU summit for this. His duties included handling the first interactions with each new member and taking responsibility for their development until they reached knighthood, even if they were also paired with a master—also Len’s responsibility—or placed in a subunit. Len was the first RM in COU to deal with the massive increase of dead-on-arrival joins, new members who created DB accounts in unprecedented numbers based on our social media outreach but who never logged in again. The job was not any less important, but suddenly Len was faced with more work conducting outreach to members who were only ever going to ignore him. This was also a time when the position’s future was uncertain, with the Dark Summit repeatedly, and often publicly, debating whether the job was worth staffing. For him to continue performing his duties, including taking on additional project work, when he faced attacks on his office and the possibility that his job would cease to exist any moment, is the best illustration I can think of for Len’s commitment to his community.
He has slowed down somewhat since leaving office, but only somewhat. Len has continued to participate in clan event series including Vatali Unsettled and Seven Pillars and, perhaps more importantly, he showed up to help seal our finish as Third Clan in the recent GJW. Len not only managed full participation, but he earned 417 points for the clan. If we’d had another half a Len the clan would have placed second overall.
Len is the guy who does thankless tasks because he cares more about benefiting the community than he does glamour or stroking his own ego. That attitude, combined with the volume of his activity as documented by Blade above, is indicative of an upper equite.

Ryan has been sitting at Knight since 2016. 4 years and some change, but through it all, he’s kept on keeping on, staying up with COU despite his attention being divided with his real life.
In those years, he’s gathered up some shine from 42 competition entries. Four Crescents each with Amethyst and Sapphire, one Diamond, five Emerald, and a Topaz. He also landed 36 Ice and 9 Graphite clusters. The kicker, however, are his Seals. Also received one Anteian cross and two Dark Crosses for his sustained activity. Five Fury and six Vision, which means he devoted what time he did have towards the truly big events, making sure he had our six where it counted most. On top of all that, he lays claim to a little over 10,000 words of fiction, 17 Shadow Academy courses, and one degree since his Knighting.
I believe he’s shown considerable patience and activity, so I’m pleased to pen this well-earned request for Ryan to be elevated to the ranks of Equite, as a massive thank you for everything he’s done for us..

I’ve known Ryan for several years now. Since I’ve been here he’s been a mostly quiet presence, diligently helping the Clan when it needed it most and willing to set aside time for it. More recently, he’s been on an active streak, consistently supporting Odan-Urr month after month, whether it be the GJW, Clan/House competitions, or most recently an Odan-Urr hosted DB Squadron event. To put a spotlight on the Squadron event, Ryan represented Odan-Urr in a battle for Ace, and I’m proud of him. In addition, Ryan has participated in 1 community event, where it required him to set aside a few hours of his day to hang out with his fellow members. During this event, he grew character bonds and made friendships with his fellow clanmates, which help cement bonds and strengthen the Clan. I just wanted to say that we really appreciate all that you’ve done for Odan-Urr and your dedication throughout the years. Hanging out with your fellow Odanites and participating in our competitions helps make a stronger Clan and a stronger family. Thank you for being a part of it. Congratulations on your promotion to the Equites!

Here we are once again bringing you another large list of accomplishments by our own Agate Gua’lara. I haven’t seen continued dedication like this by anyone... in anything… ever. Her many accomplishments are truly remarkable as she remains one of those members who take every ounce of what this Club offers and rise through the ranks faster than anyone I’ve ever seen.
Since her last promotion, which was only back in May, Agate has participated in 118 competitions! She’s earned 5 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 13 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 8 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 3 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 4 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 1 Crescent with Topaz Star, 1 Pendant of Blood, 8 Clusters of Fire, 10 Clusters of Ice, 28 Clusters of Earth, and 86 Clusters of Graphite. Just look at the 209 Clusters of Graphite she has. She gained over 1860 points in the Shroud Syndicate giving her a Rank XI spot in a little over a year, just from her artwork!
Agate has also completed 1 Shadow Academy course and wrote 3337 words in 7 Fictions and 2 Run-On posts. For completing all the bins in the last GJW, her efforts helped to secure Odan-Urr a third place finish and earn for herself 20 Seals of Visions, various awards plus a very nice Bronze Nova. Back in August, she earned a Grand Cross for her amazing efforts but most notably for using the descriptions on our Notable Fauna page to hand draw the Samuris, Varritul and Dolly Cat. Nobody asked her to do it, she just did it on her own. This same drive is what keeps her churning out competition after competition and monthly Scimitar victories.
Thank you Agate, this was well earned and I am proud to see you be elevated to Equite 2!

Agate has been a wonderful addition to our star wars family, not only for her activity but for her community additions as well. For the former, it's been an absolute pleasure to see Agate’s contributions to Odan-Urr sponsored events all the way from her Battleteam, House, and Clan. This consistent dedication makes a Consul smile and I just wanted to say that we really appreciate all that you do for Odan-Urr. To put a spotlight on your art for a moment, it's been wonderful seeing you add such wonderful additions, whether it be art depicting our heroic missions or creatures on Solyiat. In addition, she has participated in 2 community events, where each one required her to set aside a few hours of her day, which she did despite the time zone difference. During these events, she grew character bonds and made friendships with her fellow clanmates, which help cement bonds and strengthen the Clan. For example, helping teach us more about TOR. :) I just wanted to say that we really appreciate all that you’ve done for Odan-Urr. Hanging out with your fellow Odanites and participating in our competitions helps make a stronger Clan and a stronger family. Thank you for being a part of it. Congratulations on your promotion!

Let me take you through a small story. When I met Agate I didn't realize that they were new to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and Clan Odan-Urr. On telegram I lead them through the process of how I design characters just trying to help them out and I formed a small friendship with them and asked Blade to be their master. At first it was a bit of a struggle because of our time differences. I guided them as best as I could to write their character's fiction simply because I came to the brotherhood as a fiction writer. What I really learned from Agate is what an amazing artist they were, and have loved every single piece they have completed for competitions. It also came later that I found out they were also a gamer and we enjoyed what were my Saturdays of running flashpoints with other members of Odan-Urr. In the end they had written enough of their fiction, they had done enough Shadow Academy courses and then was knighted. As a Knight they kept doing what they had always been doing and completed more artwork and gamed even more until they were promoted to Equite 1.
As their master even though they had been knighted I feel like to this day that they had put in the hard work and in my heart they are more than deserving to be promoted to the next rank and fully deserve to be an Equite 2 and be the same rank as me. I am proud of everything they have done.

Ah, Elyon. A Jedi’s Jedi. She reminds me of something I learned in martial arts years ago. Everything up to black belt is what the art gives to you, and after that, it’s what you give back to the art. Given that it’s not unreasonable to equate DJK to a black belt, it’s also reasonable to consider the Equite ranks to be the degrees that follow.
I’ll get to the static accomplishments shortly, but before I do, I want to talk about her conduct, attitude, and general presence. Not content to just do stuff and get the shinies, she reaches out to members to engage with them in an effort to further tell the stories that fuel this club. Her presence on Telegram and Discord is about as good, if not better than one could expect given her significant time zone difference with the majority of the clan. A quick Google tells me she’s operating six hours ahead of US Eastern time zone, which is what we use to time our clan events and meetups. That’s dedication right there.
In addition, she’s been an absolute rockstar since her knighting in July, setting up and running two competitions, participating in 46 and netting several awards. A Dark Cross, a Gold and Silver Nova each, a few crescents; One Ruby and one Amethyst, three Sapphires, and five Emeralds. Several clusters including five Fires, seventeen Ice, and thirty-one Graphite. Since we’re on the subject of competitions, she landed eighteen Seals of Visions which speak to a pretty solid level of GJW participation. Given this was her first war, and had only been in the club for a short while, I’d say she’s gotten an incredible handle on how things operate in a very short while.
Because of this, I’m absolutely stoked to recommend Elyon be promoted to Equite 1, she’s definitely earned it.

Elyon has been a wonderful addition to our star wars family, not only for her activity but for her community additions as well. Her willingness to make new friends and weave a Star Wars story with us is magical and much appreciated. Equites are the start of giving back to the club and Elyon has already started doing that. First, she has taken on her very first student, patiently showing them the ways the Force. Second, she has shown a steady and consistent dedication to Odan-Urr’s community events, which are very important. Since Elyon’s last promotion, she has participated in 12 community events, where each one required her to set aside a few hours of her day, which she did despite the time zone difference. That’s 12 events over just 4 months, which is amazing. During these events, she grew character bonds and made friendships with her fellow clanmates, which help cement bonds and strengthen the Clan.
