Ma`ar, aka Smoke, has waited a long time for this day. It has been over four and half years since his last promotion, and his recent work has more than pushed him for this. I could list the vast amount of medals that he's earned since his last promotion, but I think that's just a bit of an overkill, considering there are so many. :P But since I was hired by Smoke in May of 2010, as his magistrate to assist him with his duties as Fist of the Brotherhood. Some of the first things we did, was reconfigure the Clusters of Fire table, something that Smoke believed that was too complicated for coding. He made a simple statement, saying that he wanted those that lost earn 1/3 of what the winner won, as well as making team gaming be simplified. Within a day, the new table was sorted, and uploaded to the wiki. His next project was adding new rules to the RoC that had areas that were unclear about certain things. Over two weeks, representatives from each house emailed their opinions, and eventually after my original rough draft, Smoke edited it with the necessary changes before uploading it to the Wiki. He created countless competitions for the members of the Brotherhood to take part in to earn crescents, clusters of fire, pendants of blood, and in some instances, special graphics for the member's dossier that was created by Muz.
Smoke also worked on things that I had no idea of. The GMRG exam, was one of them as it was the stepping stone for entrance to the GMRG, and was set up in time for it to be uploaded onto the Shadow Academy, just before the GMRG was released to the DB. Within the first few days, Smoke had to grade a number of tests allowing members entrance to the GMRG. He also worked on the events for Disorder, and even participated in a couple to help help out the Sith Order game. He also set up a JO and RC server for the DB to use over the last several months for competitions and gaming nights.
In conclusion, Smoke has more than earned this promotion. He's been a vast majority of positions since he was last promoted, awarded tons of medals, and done a quite a lot of work for Gaming in the DB.
