Primary reason

Some say to be awarded a Grand Cross is to complete the collection of crosses attainable in the brotherhood. This is why today it is my honour and privilege to be able to award Celahir Erinos his first Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He has proven his worth to me, his house and Arcona.
As a leader in Clan Arcona, Celahir always excels and strives to achieve the best. He is currently the reigning Quaestor of House Qel-Droma for nearly 4 months now. He has been active and supportive of his leaders and members, always making sure he places them above himself in every situation. He also is reliable posting reports on a regular basis and is always able to answer emails quickly and efficiently. I also found that as one of his Battle Team Leaders he is confident and reliable answering questions and striving for perfection. Cel has supported me throughout my current time as the leader of Wolf Guard.
Since joining Arcona, I noticed that members have been looking up to Cel and try to be as active as he is (such as by participating in the RoS in multiple events as well as helping to run and focus the direction of his house in this event). He has been inspirational and it is only right that he deserves such a prestigious award for his work towards the Clan’s overall placing. He mentors the younger members when they need help, and is able to continue to run competitions to keep both old and new members active and working hard. I am proud to have a Quaestor like Cel.
All in all, Celahir has earned this medal with sheer activity, leadership and his desire to mentor those around him. Good work Celahir
Cethgus Kuga, BTL, Wolf Guard

I’d just like to throw in my two cents as I’ve spent the last three months as Celahir’s Aedile in House Qel Droma.I believe Celahir is deserving of this prestigious award. His efforts at leading HQD and supervising the Battleteams has been superb, as well as easily adapting to his role and meshing well with myself. Celahir’s methods were completely different from his predecessor, yet he worked hard and achieved results. Having lead Soulfire to their victory in the Third Great Hunt, to becoming Quaestor over myself due to my unfortunate problems in RL, Celahir was worked tirelessly to prove himself. He has earned not only the respect of myself, but the respect of everyone in the Clan. I am proud to have worked with Celahir in HQD and can only wish him the best of luck with his new Aedile. I’m sure the other recs will give a lot more reasons why Celahir deserves this award, so I’ll stop twaddling on. Congrats Irfan, you deserve it.
Sanguinius Tsucyra, Quaestor of House Galeres.

Since Celahir's appointment to the position of Quaestor of House Qel-Droma he has done everything in his power to assist and encourage his Battleteam Leaders and be a strong leader and example to the entire House. Cel's laid back manner and easy-going style of leadership has made serving in HQD a fun and enjoyable experience, but he has also made sure that his leaders and members know that excellence is important for this Arconan House.
During the Rite of Supremacy, Celahir was a great leader both by example and encouragement. Because of his duties both as a Quaestor and his work in the latest RoS, I believe that Cel fully deserves to be recognized by receiving a Grand Cross. Congratulations, Cel, and keep up the good work.
Driftan Housan, Aedile, House Qel-Droma

As a subordinate and friend, Cel has been nothing but supportive of me. He is always challenging me to become better and makes sure that If i need help or have a question, I get it answered or he gives me the help I need. He has been a solid, consistent figure in my time here, and I know that I can always count on him if I fall into a hole. He is a great role model and an excellent leader with a lot of potential for greatness. He leads by example and never gets down on himself or anyone else for that matter. Optimism is contagious.
He deserves a GC more than anyone else I can hink of.
Marick, BTL, Oblivion Brigade

I want in on this recc too =P. Celahir is a bloody star. I took a chance on him, by giving him BTL of Soulfire when he started getting really active, and I can only say I’ve never once looked back. He’s earned the respect of his House, earned the friendship of the summit and easily slotted into next-in-line for Proconsul without even a blink – the only thing holding him back is simple time-in-position. He’s taken to the various duties of office like a duck to water, and I’ve yet to find an area he isn’t willing to at least try his hand it. He’s experimented with gaming, writing, graphics in the myriad of Competitions that have come his way since joining Arcona and proved fairly proficient at them all, yet his true talent lies in his leadership. He’s charismatic, easy-going, laid back, but he gets his point of view across and motivates his members and summit excellently. As a Consular aide, he’s often my port of call and no task is too menial if it helps me out and gets Arcona’s work done. I eagerly look forward to the future in Arcona with Celahir at the helm. Well done, bro.
Sashar Arconae

Primary reason

Sterling ACC efforts in both weeks. While Legorii's record, stripped of context, might not seem like much, I would like to stand still at the things he has done this week. While he lost both of his Taldryan matches, several of his opponents were themselves highly skilled (Halcyon and Sharad, respectively), and Muz specifically noted how close those matches were. Similarly, Legorii faced down both Shikyo and Manji last round -again, no slouches at the ACC. I will note that Manji, specifically, had not yet lost a match this GJW despite having fought six of them. Until he fought Legorii. Legorii also impressed me with his punctuality. He never needed to be told when or how or what to post: He'd simply do it, get it read, submit, and get on with the next match. This discipline proved exceptionally useful in fighting both Taldryan and CNS, and I heartedly commend him -even if we didn't win.
-KE Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae

To achieve a high-end merit medal is an award that people strive to collect in the Brotherhood. It takes an elite type of person to achieve such a medal. This is the last merit medal, some believe crosses the bridge to Sacrificial Awards, that is why it is my privilege to recommend Legorii a Grand Cross due to his hard work and dedication to the clan.
Ever since being appointed to the position of Quaestor, Legorii was motivated and pushing the House to new limits, getting members active and working to achieve the best for this clan. He was in constant contact with his Battle Team Leaders, making sure that they were active and motivating their teams, working with them on achieving their full potential, as well as working with his Aedile making sure he was keeping up to date with all tasks that required completion. He served diligently for no less than 8 months and executed the duties of his office such as reports, rewarding his members and running competitions efficiently and with little fuss.
Legz has also shown his activity during this most recent RoS, taking part in the ACC team. Posting on time, with quality posts, his help and dedication helped see the clan take fourth place overall. As well as doing this he has been active and proving himself time and time again, that is why I believe Legz is a worthy candidate for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.
This clan appreciated all the work you have done for your house, as well as the work you have done during the RoS, Congratulations Legz this medal is well deserved.
Celahir Erinos, Quaestor, House Qel-Droma

This reward is well overdue, in my opinion. I’d wanted to hold off rewarding him until after the RoS to try and boost up the reward, however whenever I do this it always feels like I’m cheating the members of a speedy ‘thanks’ and general recognition of the months and months of hard work they’ve put into the clan and the brotherhood in general. Lego was not a yes man as my Quaestor. He was not someone to sit by idly when he saw something that needed doing, and it proved quite a challenge to teach him the subtle art of delegation, as he was so hyper-active that it was often quicker for him to just whatever needed doing himself rather than wait for timezone differences and get his staff to assist him. He took on a titanic workload during the last GJW, assuming the mantle of QUA halfway through it and slotted in without even a single trip up. He always Always told me exactly what he thought, even if it conflicted with my own opinions, yet it was always with Arcona’s best interests at heart. Lego will one day run this clan – I’ve said it time and time again, and I truly believe it. He’s got the drive, the ambition and through the Entars, the connections. He definitely deserves recognition for the hundreds of hours he’s put into Arcona. Well done, Lego.
Sashar Arconae.

I would like to give Juda my thanks for the short time I’ve had him as my Aedile. I came into this job, stealing it from Juda in the process. Something he does not begrudge me. However, I would like to direct your attention to all of the work Juda has done over the past six months. When Project Reb00t came into being, it was decided that we needed 6 Battleteam Leaders. In Galeres, that was a problem as many of the experienced members were in the tight-knit group that is Soulfire. Juda volunteered to become BTL of one of the new Battleteams, creating its history, Operandi Modus and much, much more. Creating and leading Black Hammer Brigade took up alot of Juda’s time, yet even with RL butting in, he stepped up to the plate and hit a home run (yes, a baseball analogy from an Englishman. It does not work, I know). Not only did he do all this work, but Juda brought back the #arcona webcomic, which updated weekly before the RoS. Depicting the recent RO events in a more humorous light. This proved to be a popular move for the Arconans. As we all know, we Arconans are a sick, twisted, perverted bunch and we loved it. On a hiatus for the RoS, the comic is due to restart up again next week with even more jokes than before. This is before all his work as Aedile. Supporting Ninj, Juda helped run the House, supervised the Battleteams and contributed to several ongoing projects within Arcona that unfortunately cannot be publicised at this moment in time. However, for all of his work as BTL, AED and his efforts in the RoS. Especially in the ACC where he faced up against Jac. Yes, that’s right, Jac. I believe Juda is deserving of this Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congratulations Juda.
Sanguinius Tsucyra, Quaestor of House Galeres.

Adding to Sang’s praise, I’d like to bring to light Juda’s graphic contributions since his return last October. He’s produced the Arcona Calender (which is farking hilarious – well worth enduring the balls), drawn about a dozen character images for various people and helped me work up the RoS beta reward scheme that we should hopefully be seeing an official version of soon (eh, Korras? ;) – he’s got his fingers in many pies, and looks well on target to be one of Arcona’s big hitters in the months to come. Nice work, mate.
Sashar Arconae

Lan has worked for the ACC this RoS in the manner he does best: Behind the scenes, quiet and unobtrusive but no less essential to a well-functioning Clan for that. When I first sought people to assemble a Proofreading team, Lan immediately volunteered. It was Lan who helped set up a 'schedule' of proofreaders to be 'on duty' or not, and Lan who offered to picked up most of the slack whenever I couldn't handle it. And, in the middle of that, he also succeeded at writing a top-level fiction (2nd vs. Taldryan). All in all, Lan's an outstanding member, and I'm proud to have worked with him at the ACC.
-KE Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae

Echoing Tim’s praise here, I’d also like to illuminate how helpful Lan has been over the past few months to me. As a former Consul himself, he knows what I have to go through on a daily basis and often keeps me calm with sage counsel and a wry grin, offering his years of experience and calming demeanour as a counterpoint to my more disorganised reflexive style of leadership. I truly hope I can tempt him back into a leadership spot of some sort over the coming months, however even just as a Consular advisor, he’s invaluable and one of my closest go-to guys for when I need a frank evaluation of whatever daily crisis attacks the Clan’s stability. Thanks muchly, Lan.
Sashar Arconae

Ever since being appointed to Battle Team Leader, Driftan has endlessly strived for perfection. He has given me as his Quaestor a lot of feedback and ideas on how to run the house and the teams more efficiently. During the RoS he participated as one could only wish from his members, getting stuck into the GFX and the ACC events. Whilst he wasn't qualified in the ACC he did an outstanding job and never even timed out, this while the limit was pretty tight. Even during the RoS, he kept trying to get his members into motion, asking them for feedback and motivating them to the best of his abilities. During his time as a BTL, he has done an outstanding job producing reports and competitions whenever I expected them, constantly trying to better himself and help his members progress through their ranks. As his Quaestor and friend I am very proud and maybe even lucky to have somebody such as Driftan on my team. For all he has done and knowing of what he can do, I think Driftan more than deserves a Steel Cross.
Celahir Erinos, Quaestor, House Qel-Droma

I’d just like to echo Celahir here. Driftan has been the best thing to happen to Arcona since Vorion left. He’s a breath of fresh air on the summit, and always comes up with new and innovative ways to increase communication, productivity and the Summit’s overall performance. He’ll make one hell of a Quaestor, and hopefully one day a Consul. His assistance even as an Aedile to me personally in running the day to day machinations of the clan is invaluable, and he deserves this medal as a token of our appreciation. Well done, Drift. Keep up the brilliant work.
Sashar Arconae

I suppose I could write a load of old codswallop here about why Lucy should get this, that and the other. I could, and I will! I believe Lucy is deserving of a Steel Cross. In the time he has spent in Arcona, Lucy has been a strong contributor. Coming across from CSP where he served time as an AED and a QUA, he humbly took on the role of BTL in Galeres, taking off from where Juda left. He has run competitions, fiddled with the Battleteam’s wiki page. He kept in communication with his team. A team I would describe as one of the best in Arcona, second only to Soulfire. He has done everything expected of him diligently. Not only has Lucy been working hard as a BTL, (Doing the work of an Aedile in other clans.) he has also served as a wiki staff member, helping me out with article changes and always there to help his fellow Arconans with their problems on the wiki. The unfortunate mishap of Lucy’s computer going haywire stopped him competing in the RoS; something that cost him dearly, yet he cared enough about our efforts to send emails out when he could, exhorting our members to work hard and have fun in the vendetta. However, for all of his efforts before the RoS and the leadership he showed during it, I would like to reward Luciferus a Steel Cross. Congratulations Lucy, you deserve it.
Sanguinius Tsucyra – Quaestor of House Galeres

Luciferus hasn’t had it easy. He’s come across from CSP – our arch rivals and entered into an incredibly cliquey summit who’s idiosyncratic artistan’esque leadership style is never easy to adapt to for outsiders, yet he’s braved through this to become a valued member of the team who, despite adversity with a craptastic Computer in RL, has managed to keep in contact both with his summit and his members and get back on his feet, running regular competitions, producing prompt reports, and also volunteering to spearhead a massive overhaul of Arcona’s Wiki articles: something I’ve been trying to get organised since I took PCON two years ago, and have only just really started making headway with. Well done on surviving this long, Scy, and welcome back to Arcona; you’re doing a damn good job.
Sashar Arconae

Sang, like everyone else in the ACC Team, worked ridiculously hard to try and get us a victory. And he, like his opponents, had it tough. Tough opponents, tough schedule, tough everything, culminating in an effort where he had to travel two hours to a friend's place just to be able to post. His dedication, above and beyond even that of the rest of the Team, is something I can truly say I admire. His own results are not all out yet...but he's done us proud by through sterling effort and dedication alone.
-KE Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae

It is a proud move to make from being a Journeyman into the ranks of Equite. It is a proud part of your career in the Dark Brotherhood, and it is my privilege to be able to say that today I would like to welcome one of Arcona’s Dark Jedi Knights into these ranks. That is why I am recommending Sanguinius for promotion to Equite.

Ever since Sang joined Arcona as Qel-Droma as Aedile, I've only heard praise about him. At the time I was still functioning as Battle Team Leader of Soulfire in Galeres. This didn't stop me and Sang becoming close friends. Not much later I transferred to Qel-Droma to be it's Quaestor, Sang returned from his LoA and he's been a genius help running the house as my Aedile, making us a strong and stable leadership team for the house. As my Aedile he has helped me with the house being able to bring this house back active and in a stable state.

He has been a dedicated Aedile and made it up to Quaestor not too long ago, I could start praising Sang a lot right now, and there is a lot to praise Sang for. However, I think it goes without saying that 7 months of being Aedile and then taking on Quaestor shows how much dedication he has. It's been quite a while since he made it to DJK and the sheer amount of time, energy and work Sang has put in his job as Aedile is more than enough to be promoted to Equite 1, but I can see great things coming from him in the future.

Sang, congratulations on your promotion and I look forward to working with you as Quaestor. And hope to see you continue to move further in the future within Clan Arcona. Your dedication has been well noted among your friends and leaders.
Celahir Erinos, Quaestor, House Qel-Droma

Sang’s had it rough as Aedile. He is another transfer in from a different clan, yet he’s taken to Arcona faster than I’ve ever see other members. Trading jokes with Tim about their mothers, batting off the homosexual advances of his former Quaestor, and executing the responsibilities of his position have all been a matter of course for Sang, and despite a bumpy ride with RL, he’s still kept in contact with us through thick and thin, and is now heading up Galeres efficiently. His reports are on time, his competitions are fun, his leadership is generally from the front and his manner when dealing with both newbies and me (we make a temperamental lot) has been excellent. I have no complaints for Sang, and 7 months as Aedile deserve recognition. Well done, Sang.
Sashar Arconae
