Bog (aka Alex) had been busy since his last promotion. He did 159 comps, one of them being an art comp I hosted and he made a rather fun popeye-esque character that I swore I would kill his character over someday for (This is a joke people.) On a serious note, it's rather... endearing I suppose :P He had judged 1 ACC battle which earned him a society rank up and has since then studied and passed 18 courses at the shadow academy.

He's been involved with writing, in both fiction and roleplay, earning him rank-ups with Inquisitorius and Envoy Corps. He stole earned himself a Grand Cross, 2 Crescent with Diamond Star, 3 Crescent with Ruby Star, 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star, 4 Crescent with Sapphire Star, 3 Crescent with Emerald Star, 1 Crescent with Topaz Star, 1 Crescent with Quartz Star, 10 Clusters of Fire, 40 Clusters of Ice (Brr), and 2 Cluster of graphite (stares off into the distance)

Now. That's the numbers.

Bog has been an important part of keeping me sane with HQD things. Real life had gotten in the way for me but Bog was a steady and neutral sounding board when I start to overreact and say things without thinking. I have learned a lot from my mistakes and am thankful for you Bog.

He's also an active and a constant presence in discord and even interact with some of our HQD members, made sure they dont feel left out or too hidden into the shadows where they start gathering cobwebs. He's the kind of guy that would join you in the corner and slowly help you out or stay in the corner, whichever you prefer, he respects it wholly.

He's even been busy with a space station, which you can check out here. And it's even open to the Clan's members to add a little piece of themselves if they wish, all they had to do was to message Bog and work something out.

Bograt has been a surprising return to Arcona. Usually a returning member can take some time to reacquaint themselves with the new face the clan has taken on. So much has changed and it's a lot to take in. For most. Bog has been on top of it, already stepping up to the post in HQD and becoming BTL of the Voidbreaker's. He's already been engaging with members, as well as active in the summit channels providing insight and advice. Some of it could be outdated, but it's more often than not useful and changes the trajectory for the conversation. He's willing to listen, and shows many of the qualities we want to see in our leaders.

Never mind the consistent activity he pulls in as an individual member despite all he does as a leader. It's wonderful to watch and it's just as wonderful to get to write this next step up in the powerlevels.

Dr. Bril Teg Arga has sewn himself some extraordinary renown through not just Arcona but the Brotherhood as a whole. A man who can commonly be found encouraging his fellow peers to do the activities they wish too, help them develop and establish their characters, collaborate stories, game together, and just hype everyone up for showing/waking up for the day. Just looking at the activity our Zabrak Starosta has done over the last few months, my jaw is on the floor. So let me get right into it.

Since his promotion in January, Bril had (co-)organized 17 competitions and participated in 313 competitions(not including containers), that’s nearly three comps a day! He has won 2 Diamond, 11 Ruby, 14 Amethyst, 19 Sapphire, 12 Emerald, 6 Topaz and 6 Quartz Crescents. Participating in 71 gaming activities, a large number being pokemon unite that he had helped host and drive, Bril had netted 204 Clusters of Fire and ranked up once in the GMRG. He also had earned 45 Clusters of Graphite and moved up 2 ranks in the Shroud Syndicate.

Buckle up, however, because Fiction is where Bril annihilates! He finished his first ACC match and wrote 2,402 words for it. The man had participated in 17 regular fiction activities with a total of 16,244 words, roleplayed 73,279 words as a participant in 35 rps and 28,354 words in 10 rps as a DM. Now, the activity records do not total all of those 63 activities’ words together, so I did it for us. That is a whopping total of 120,279 words of fiction! Gawd Damn! All of that had resulted in 3 Inquisitorius, 1 Antei Combat Center(Participant), 2 Envoy Corps(Participant) and 3 Envoy Corps(Organizer) rank ups. As well as 241 Clusters of Ice.

Bril is an academic mind that had already crushed a vast portion of the Shadow Academy. He did pass 2 courses and gained his Tactics Sage in this time. He also is an avid wiki doer, which has been recognized and awarded 3 Dark Side Scrolls. All of this activity had additionally earned him an Amethyst Kukri and a Sapphire Blade. His activity and dedication to the Brotherhood and Arcona had awarded him a Seal of Loyalty as well. Bril has been an active Battleteam Leader, engaging his members 1 on 1, building them a sandbox to work in, and encouraging activity. He had kept them informed with timely and routine newsposts, writing five of them so far since joining leadership. He's been dedicating time to the clan's wiki and aiding greatly in updating our pages.

So, without further ado, congratulations on promotion to Equate 4, Bril! You worked so damn hard for this and earned it thrice over. I look forward to what’s next on the horizon for you. May the stars guide your path forward!

Bril has been a cornerstone of his unit, fostering activity amongst the people he watches over. He's receptive to the needs of his unit and tries his best to help them craft their stories and answer questions where he can. He's dived into the Clan's Wiki pages, updating and tidying things up in an attempt to make things seem more "lived in" and give people more information to bounce off of when writing by themselves or with others.

Who left that bag open again!?! Well, I guess the cat is truly out this time. Battlemaster to Battlelord while maintaining most of her nine lives. Congratulations on elevation to the esteemed rank of Equite 3, Katrila.

Since her last promotion in May 2024, Katrila has shredded through 146 competitions in a flurry of activity. Talk about having the zoomies! It seems not a day passes without a competition being judged and Katrila appearing on the placement board.

As her Quaestor, I count Katrila among the best that Tyranus has to offer. Clawing up 19 Ranks since last promotion, Katrila has shown the House and the whole clan what is possible with the club. You don't need to be the next Leo DaVinci to make a masterpiece but this didn't stop this feline fury from trying. And for her efforts, she has earned nearly (if not every) type of Crescent award possible. Shiny!

Katrila has been an absolute force since their return to Clan Plagueis. It's always amazing to see veteran members jump back in to the Brotherhood with a gusto, something I really identify with having done it a few times myself. Since their last promotion, Katrila hnas completed 146 competitions while earning placements in 26 of them in the form of the following: 3 Diamond, 8 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 3 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, 1 Topaz, and 1 Quartz crescents. Beyond that, Kat has also earned their first Grand Cross as well as their second Sapphire blade.

Outside of that, Kat's passed a whopping 36 SA courses and earned 11 degrees. Society rank ups? How about 19 of those spread between the SA, GMRG, Inquisitorius, Shroud Syndicate, ACC, and Envoy Corps (so, basically, all of them!). Clusters? Kat's got those, too, in the shape of 80 Clusters of Fire, 32 Clusters of Ice, and 40 Clusters of Graphite. In essence, Kat's been an absolute monster of activity and it gives me great honor to request their promotion to the rank of Equite three!

It’s like someone pointed a laser pointer at the DB and let Kat loose. She is EVERYWHERE! Gaming, graphics, fiction, RPing, ACC, Shadow Academy, even bouncing around in various discord chats. Everywhere I look I see Kat, and I am here for it! Since her fated return I have been privileged enough to read some of her incredible and fun fictions, taken a look at her incredible art, and even had the chance to fight alongside our feline compatriot in some gaming activities. If I am organizing a comp, I can guarantee that Kat’s name will be among the participants. While all of the crunchy numbers have been covered, I do want to say that Kat is the type of member any leader would be proud to have in their clan. Regent might be the DC job bearing the greatest weight of expectation, not because it's unusually complex, time consuming, and member facing--which it absolutely is--but because our first two Regents went on to become JST, DGM (twice), and GM. That's a tough act to follow, but I don't think Noobi ever let it affect him. He came into the job eager to finish what Evant and Atra had begun and then to make his own mark on the role. For three years, until the pull of real life became too great to ignore, he never slowed down.

You can read through his reports and browse our stores if you want to see the possessions work that Noobi and his team have done over the years, but behind the scenes he brought just as much energy and focus to other tasks. He was a constant presence in DC discussions and would help his colleagues and those outside the DC with proposals, applications, etc. He has also been a mentor to many of our leaders, especially those from Tal. And he was so eager to help with vendetta comps that I had to kick him off of events because he wanted to do too much.

As Ood says in his rec below, Noobi has done a lot of growing in this club. I doubt the Noobi of 17 years ago could have accomplished so much for so long. I have faith in the team he has trained and left behind. I'm confident Thran will make him proud as Regent #4, but I think it's fair to say that Noobi is in a league of his own.

I had the honor of serving on Noobi’s staff as a Magistrate for a term and alongside him on the Council. In the time I’ve known him in the Regent role, Noobi was organized, driven, and committed to providing members with the highest-quality content and service possible. Noobi truly took the regency and made it his own, taking possessions to new heights and, in the mark of a truly great leader, setting up the office to churn along toward a lofty vision after his term ended.

On a more personal level, I owe Noobi a great deal. He gave me a chance to serve on staff during one of the lower points in my DB career. He offered relentless encouragement as I settled into the Fist role, helping calm my nerves during that first vendetta. He quickly became an enthusiastic co-conspirator on all my crazy ideas for reforming the Grand Master’s Royal Guard. The successful reform of the GMRG and the popular new society rewards wouldn’t have been possible without Noobi. He refined ideas while contributing significant ones of his own to the project.

I have little doubt that his service to the Brotherhood will continue in a series of new roles. Thank you for everything you’ve done for the club. Truly you have earned the title of Master.

Noobi and I have locked horns over projects and policies more than a few times over the years, but nevertheless he's become someone I consider a friend. That sounds like a contradiction, but it's not. Noobi is passionate about this club. He's passionate about the Council's role as Bringer of Cool Stuff to the members. Passion translates to strong opinions on the details, but I think we've always been in step on the big picture of providing a better experience for the members. And Noobi is not squeamish about putting in hours and hours of work towards that big picture. It was silly that he lingered at EQ4 while doing that level of work, but it's good to see him getting his due now.

I've had the personal pleasure of knowing Noobis for nearly 27 years, spanning time going back even before the DB came into existence. And without a doubt, I can say that he is absolutely one of the most deserving of a promotion to EL2.

Going all the way back then, I've watched him grow and mature from the fun little bundle of chaos squirrel energy that he used to be into the mature and forward-focused individual he is today. Always looking to improve things for others, while sometimes overlooking his own needs; but thats Noobis.

I've been able to watch the outcome of this growth in his love of being Regent while being one of his Magistrates these last years. From Life Day, to May the Fourth, to spontaneous Expansion releases for the fun of it just to make sure members had fun new things to interact and utilize. Everything he does, like I've said, has been for the members.

I look forward to what else he will do in the future, as I know for certain no matter what it is, he will continue to do everything for the members. Thank you brother, for all you've done. Now, you're part of the Masters.

Anubis’ contributions to this club have been well documented. Three years as Regent produced a heretofore unseen level of expansion of the possessions system. His guidance and leadership in this role made all of this possible. I could drone on for hours about what Anubis has done for the DB, but I’ll spare you all the time. It’s alot. Like really really alot.

I think Anubis embodies the spirit of this club to the fullest level. He’s the poster child for second chances. He’s climbed the ranks, worked incredibly hard, and set straight the errs of his past. He was given an opportunity and he took it. And what a masterclass he put on…

I am so happy that I have had the opportunity to get to know him. Anubis is a dear friend and mentor. He has always presented himself to me with integrity, honesty, and tact. Serving as his Praetor was, so far, the greatest privilege of my DB career. And to have the continued opportunity to work with him now, as he serves as a member of the Regent’s staff, is an even greater blessing.

I cannot thank Anubis enough for his help, guidance, friendship and “taking a chance” on me. In a way, I'm like his foundling. He took me on and showed me the Regent way.

Congratulations, Bossman. You are a Master now. This is the Way.

There’s so much to say about Noobi and I know I am not gifted enough to say it. So, I’ll say this…I’ve seen the spreadsheets he managed as Regent and they are beautiful.

So much of what makes the DB real is possessions and I found myself early awaiting each release with glee knowing there was going to be a new toy I had to get.

Noobi struck that perfect balance between silliness and seriousness that made you love the debates and discussions about what would come next for the Brotherhood.

I've known Noobis for many years, both within the Brotherhood and in other clubs. In that time, he's grown remarkably as a leader, and become laser-focused on making the club the best place it can be. He stepped up to help me lead Taldryan in 2019 and 2020 despite not really wanting the job, because he knew the Clan needed Summiteers that could lead by example. He took on often thankless Regent Staff positions doing behind-the-scenes work that most members never realise happens, then became the public face of the Possessions system—and the lightning rod for criticisms of the same—when he became Regent.

Noobis perseveres because making the club better is more important to him than trying to keep people happy. His attitude gets results, too. Possessions is an impressive system, no matter what your opinions are on specific aspects of it. The Brotherhood has been able to offer its members more options because of Possessions, and Noobis has been at the heart of those efforts for almost five years. That's the kind of dedication that makes a true Elder.

Since his last promotion, about 7 years ago, Wade hasn’t been idle. Having spent the last 5 years as a rogue, we’re quite happy to have him back. In this time, he’s organized 5 competitions. Additionally, he’s participated in 73 competitions, earning himself 14 Crescents (3 Amethyst, 3 Sapphire, & 8 Emerald). He earned himself 16 Seals of Wrath in the 12th Great Jedi War. Additionally, he’s acquired 6 Clusters of Fire, 16 Clusters of Ice, and 34 Clusters of Graphite. On the side of the Societies, he’s elevated his rank 13 times across the various societies. He has further earned himself 1 Anteian Cross, 1 Steel Cross, 1 Grand Cross, and 1 Sapphire Blade. Narman/Wade has completed 5 Shadow Academy Courses.

In the month since he joined Taldryan, Wade has quickly established himself as a highly active and sociable taldryanite. He’s been a solid presence on discord and seems to always be either sharing some information, impression or interacting with another member as they are doing so.

Wade, neither of us has been in Taldryan for very long. However, it seems like our new home is suiting both of us quite well. It’s truly wonderful to be able to promote you already. Keep up the good effort and I expect to be able to promote you again before too long. For now, go enjoy being an EQ2 and all it entails, you’ve more than earned this promotion!!
