Karel was one of the most outstanding members of Tarentum throughout the Great Jedi War (GJW7). He participated in the JO/JA ladder to such an extent that he and Vardar were neck-and-neck for first place for an extraordinary amount of time. He also earned a Gold, Silver, and Bronze Nova for weekly placings within the gaming ladders. The ungodly amount of Clusters of Fire Karel earned for his GJW gaming participation speaks volumes for his activity.<br> <br> Karel also participated in other events, as well. He received Seals of Pain for submissions in the Poetry/GFX ladder (three events; Drowning in Fog, The Whites of Their Eyes, and Smoke and Mirrors); submission in the fiction ladder (the holonet news event); participation in the BFII/EaW/Other gaming ladder, as well as his participation in the JO/JA ladder. A great deal of the success of Tarentum came from Karel's own efforts, and his desire to provide an example of leadership to his friends and peers in the Clan.<br> <br> Karel is a natural leader. This has been exhibited by his work as ICTE Tribune. Karel worked to make sure that gaming in the ICTE maintained a standard of excellence, but he also worked to try and pass on that standard to the newer gamers of Tarentum. He is constantly in communication with his House, through email, IRC, and the message boards. Karel works to improve others, and in doing so, also continues to show to myself and everyone working with Karel how talented he is and ready for further leadership and promotion.<br> <br> Karel is truly worthy of our greatest respects, and our greatest rewards. Thank you, Karel, for all that you did, and all that you continue to do, my friend.
