Although Raken has not been a Envoy for an extended period of time, he has already become an instrumental factor in the success of Journeymen in House Satal Keto. Raken has shown his ability to not only lead Journeymen on the right path but assist them in any way possibe. In addition, in only a few hours each Journeymen has received letters and even responses from emails sent to him. Without Raken, the Clan Plagueis Envoy Team would not have gained the current success it has.

As posted on the DB news page:

Greetings everyone,

Sad news from the summit offices in CNS this week: Consul Korras is stepping down. For those of you who don't know Korras well, I don't know what rock you've been living under. This is a member that flew through the ranks and took on leadership positions from the start. He has served for long periods of time as Proconsul (twice) and Consul and he also had a very successful tenure as our Obelisk High Commander. Korras has helped to build CNS into a powerhouse of activity today and has instigated changes into the Brotherhood that have taken us a long way.

The good thing is that Korras isn't going to go far. He may not know it yet, but there's no way he can stay away. Korras is one of the DB's greatest "people persons." He can talk to everyone and always takes up the proper cause. Once he gets a bit of his pazaz back after a break, I have no doubt that Korras will be firing it up on IRC and trying to improve the DB once more.

I normally shy away from giving any sort of retirement gifts, but this one is an exception...because it wasn't planned as a retirement gift at all. Kaek, Goat and I have regular conversations about who to reward for their efforts, and in our last conversation (before we knew of Korras stepping down) we had decided that is was high time that Korras get more than that SB on his dossier.

Korras, for your influential service as Consul, Proconsul and Obelisk High Commander, for your time as Left Hand of Justice, for your constant activity in the debates regarding changes to the DB, for your advocacy of Members' rights, for your unending drive to see things done right, for your great leadership in the clan through the feud and most of the GJW, and for being a great friend to all, we hereby award you with an Emerald Dagger. Congratulations, and thanks.

With that said, I still unfortunately have to find someone to fill Korras's big shoes. That person was not far off -- the Proconsul of Naga Sadow, Manesh, will be taking the reigns of the clan. I have seen Manesh grow into a great leader; he has been essential in CNS's effort in the War. I trust that he will do an excellent job in leading the clan. Congratulations, Manesh.
Korras has been a great leader for my clan. He has also shown me that my leaders care about me, the little guy, just as much as the next guy. When I had an issue that had to do with this GJW I thought my leadership was ignoring me, the little guy, but then I saw what Korras had been doing behind the scenes. He fought hard for me to get a response in a reasonable time so I would not have to lose out on a great opportunity. I had become disheartened by the whole war by this time and he reminded me that I do count and am a valuable player. Without Korras I would not have made 5th place in the ACC event. I think Korras deserves to receive the biggest and best award there is out there. If not for Korras I'd have gone Rogue and never come back.

DJK Sharmin Wheyes (Krath)/TYR/Marka Ragnos of Naga Sadow [ACC: CL:1]

Korras has been a vital and important part of our Clan since day one. He has worked hard to protect the rights of the individuals, and to allow each individual to have the ability to participate. His positive outlook helped make the Clan stronger, despite all the storms that buffeted it from time to time. Although he didn't have to, much of the politics that are involved in the higher levels were kept out of the Clan, so that the members could just focus on having fun. For these reasons, and for many others, I would recommend Korras for an award deemed appropriate for his level of dedication and commitment. ~Kat Pridemore

Krath Archpriestess Kat Pridemore Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow

I appreciated Korras a lot when I was his Proconsul. I think he took a lot of unnecessary crap from people in the clan, mainly from militant members of our clan who want to control it. What's funny is that this entire time, people would come to complain to me, giving me the impression that there was a "Korras" faction in CNS, and a "Manesh" faction. Of course, I didn't have a problem with Korras. I thought he was good, and able to deal with the Dark Council better than I would ever be able to. People criticized Korras for not doing certain things, but if he had done them, it would have been a duplication of effort between the two of us. I honestly never thought that Korras failed the clan, I feel that the clan failed Korras. Trust me, now that I'm the Consul, I'm getting some of the same crap from the membership, and so I completely empathize.

During the Great Jedi War, there were times where one of our members felt slighted by the rules. And while I'd start freaking out over it, Korras actually did things. He confronted those members of the Dark Council responsible, and fought for those members. Unfortunately, those efforts went unappreciated.

I asked several people to submit recommendations for this award, and I got a handful of responses. Some people do not like Korras, but from my new perspective as Consul, I've discovered that some of those people have unfairly judged him. In 2006, being the Consul of Clan Naga Sadow has become the toughest job in the Dark Brotherhood. Being Consul is like performing at the Apollo. It's a tough crowd, and they wille eat you alive.

It is unfortunate that Korras's career ends like this. I really do hope he comes back to activity at the DB-wide level, because he has the skills and responsibility to really impact the Dark Brotherhood for the better. I mean, look at the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy he ran. That was the smoothest, most interesting operation I've ever seen in the Dark Brotherhood. He's one of the good ones.

During my tenure as House member and Rollmaster of House Acclivis Draco, I have always kept an eye on the group of new members that arrived in the House as inexperienced “newbies.” The other eye was kept on the feats of other Dark Jedi who had been a part of House Acclivis Draco. However, at the start of the Independence Games 2005, a particular Protector (soon to be Guardian) Cornix was near the head of the entire Clan’s force, earning 14 Seals of Alliance after the conclusion of the vendetta. His activity was one of superiority in the Clan and especially in the House at the time. Cornix was a regular chatter on IRC and loved to participate in multi-player gaming events (like the ICTE and Gaming Nights). He was able to accumulate 95 Clusters of Fire in 3 months, something extremely impressive, and even took over as Tetrarch of the Dragon Guard phyle when its usual leader was on leave. Then Guardian Cornix disappeared for almost a year. Only about one month ago did he decide to rejoin the Dark Brotherhood, and since then, he has passed four Shadow Academy exams, shown up on IRC and has participated in the Great Jedi War with a particular vigor that has made him noticed by the Clan with great interest. I know that he will become a great member of the Brotherhood, and even after over a year of the rank of Guardian, he truly represents a member that embraces the Brotherhood’s key values of friendship, merit and integrity. Because of his vast efforts in proving himself, both in the present and past, I wholeheartedly recommend him for a promotion to the rank of Jedi Hunter. -RevengeX

On this day, it has been over one long year since Guardian Cornix has seen a promotion. Over that course of time Cornix has been very active and eager to do what he can for his Clan. He has shown his determination to succeed and his will to do his part. The Clan Scholae Palatinae requirements for elevation to Jedi Hunter are as follows:

Elevation from Guardian (GRD) to Jedi Hunter (JH) [Complete three tasks] "Trials of the Sword"

 1. Submit to 3 competitions
 2. 15 Clusters of Fire (Or the equivalent of 45 matches)
 3. Earn 2 Crescents from competitions
 4. Participate in 15 ACC matches or collect 5 wins (Accumulative)
 5. Submit a Graphic of your character in combat (please refrain from stick characters)
 6. Submit 10 pages of Fiction to the Writer's Corner
 7. Earn a Merit award AND, complete a Master's Trial OR pass the Shadow Academy course, Lightsaber Studies AND complete a Task for your Clan Summit Since his promotion to

Guardian, Cornix has earned a massive number of Clusters of Fire, earned a Crescent with Diamond Star and Emerald Star, earned a Steel Cross, two Dark Crosses, a Scroll of Indoctrination, and fourteen Seals of Alliance. On top of all this he has passed eight Shadow Academy exams including not only Lightsaber Studies but also Leadership Studies. Additionally he has been one of our Clans most active members within the Great Jedi War. Cornix is beyond deserving of promotion to Jedi Hunter, and it is with great pleasure that I recommend him for the honor. Congratulations Cornix!

Since his last promotion Guardian Laurus has fulfilled many of these requirements, and gone even further with them. Since that time Laurus has earned forty-eight Clusters of Fire, exceeding the mark by thirty-three. He has earned a Star of Antei and a Dark Cross. He has earned two Crescents with Amethyst Stars. He has earned three Scrolls of Indoctrination. On top of this he has passed a Shadow Academy exam and also his Advancement Survey. In those eight months since his last promotion Laurus has also qualified to fight within the ACC. Quite possibly greater than all of these tasks though, Guardian Laurus has perform a great task for his Clan Summit. He has served as Aedile of House Acclivis Draco for the past five months. It is my option that Laurus is ready for his promotion to Jedi Hunter, and the task of his Dark Jedi Knight trials. Congratulations Laurus!

I met Shikyo quite a while back as Mifune. This guy rocks. I see his name everywhere- the ACC, run-ons, competitions, good Lord. He worked extensively with the rest of the Keibatsu working out a really fun campaign that will produce a fine story for everyone to read. You can count on him to be there for his Clan, be it competitions, gaming, advice and mentoring the younglings on IRC, or a plethora of other things. He also serves as a Pedagog, having taken over my old job as Dark Jedi meditation instructor. His ACC Live judge work speaks for itsself. The guy works hard to enhance his Clan in every way he can think of, such as writing for our new newsletter. It is time he bore the mantle of Sith Warrior for he has truly earned every bit of it.

Sith Battlemaster Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu-Goura Dark Side Compendium Tribune

Since coming to Clan Naga Sadow Shikyo has consistently been an extremely busy member, securing himself a Battleteam Leader position in his House by being one of their most active in a range of activities. He has entered and won crescents for a large number of competitions, he has an impressive number of clusters for his high gaming participation, keeps a regular presence on IRC, and takes part whenever possible in Clan runons adding to our fictional strength. CNS prides itself on it's dedicated members and Shikyo is defiantly one of them. Therefore I believe DJK Shikto Keibatsu has earned the rank of Sith Warrior

Malisane de Ath Aedile of Ludo Kressh

Shikyo has been working very hard to promote activity within the House and within the Clan. His dedication to activity and to his peers can be seen every day. I am grateful for his time and effort. I have had many interactions with him, and his concern for the well being of the House shows through in every discussion. Not only does he keep himself active, but he strives to keep his team active. He has been one of the most active participants in every competition we have had in the past six months. For that, and for many other reasons, I feel that his promotion to Sith Warrior is overdue. Congratulations, Shikyo.

Kat Pridemore, QUA of Marka Ragnos

Mifune has been a Dark Jedi Knight for about 8 months now. He had been an Aedile and Quaestor in Clan Arcona (despite having been in the club a few months at the time), and he transffered to Clan Naga Sadow knowing that he wouldn't get a house leadership position anytime soon. He has been a crucial part of the house since he transferred here, and tries to serve where he can. Mifune has matured a lot since he has come to the clan, and I hope he realizes that a lot of people are rooting for him whether he knows it or not.
