Spears was promoted in the 2nd anniversary edition of the Dark Voice newsletter for his extraordinary and consisten service. The story was as follows:

"The Dark Voice Staff has received word from an inside source that the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy was to be promoted on the anniversary of the Exodus. The confidential source has told the Dark Voice that both Grand Master Jac Cotelin and Deputy Grand Master Mav Cantor have been exceptionally pleased with Spears.

"Lord Cotelin has always appreciated the work that Spears does," said our source. "He generally has the best reporting, and his track record as Headmaster simply speaks for itself."

After further research of the records database, the Dark Voice managed to find the commendation that accompanied the request for Spears's rite of elevation. The following is an excerpt from that:

"Finally, I would like to add that Spears is one of the most resourceful, reliable Dark Council members that I have worked with. His design ability, administrative skills, and sense of initiative raise the par for all who are around him. Spears is truly an asset to the Brotherhood and I am looking forward to my continued work with him." - Jac Cotelin The Dark Voice Staff congratulates the Headmaster on his elevation."

Zomar has been an interesting pupil. His real-life demands (Grad School) have severely limited his DB time, but in his short career he has done the following: Completed several Adv. SA courses, Worked with me on his ACC character approval and history, won an Amethyst Star in a DB wide competition, made time for IRC in his hectic schedule and filled out the recent AED survey.

I hereby declare that Zomar be recognized as a full member of the DB and be elevated to the rank of Acolyte ~ Braecen Isradia

Completion of the 'Trial Of Mirrors' Korbin has proved himself capable of the larger DB experience by completing several haiku topics that defined the Dark Side: Fear, Anger, Power, Darkness. His next accomplishment was to create a definitive 'Family Tree' which he traced back 5 generations; giving his character more depth. Followed by a short story that explained his descent to the Dark Side in greater detail than his Initiate testing. Couple these tasks with his IRC presence and his domination of me in Republic Commando (21-13) I hereby declare my Apprentice ready for the elevation to Guardian. ~Braecen Isradia

Tidus has completed the tasks given to him by his Aedile and Envoy: He has completed the Test of Wisdom, Sith CORE, his Character Sheet, Subscribed and Completed his Character sheet for the ACC and filled out a recent survey put out by the Aedile of Byss.
