Second place in Week 7

Zanet Xox, 2006-10-14 22:00:00 UTC

Since LIbra Tzo's entrance into the Clan this member has been a steady stream of activity. While hard at work on her Trials under Cuchulain, this member has still accomplished great feats (Cr-R, Cr-S, Seal of Duplicity) while participating in a wide variety of Clan & House competitions (3 of which I have hosted). Combine this with LIbra's most recent challenge: to run and host a House-level competition - I believe she has fulfilled a great deal of general activity thus far, earning this medal, her first.

Braecen Kunar

A pillar of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

RevengeX has devoted himself to almost every facet of the Brotherhood, excelling in each and using his experience to promote others into participation. Revenge has used the Shadow Academy as a source of Dark Side Lore and knowledge (Completing well over 30 courses) and continues to use this source for his members as a way to further themselves. Thus, his interest developed into assuming the position of Eclectic Pedagogue - encouraging others in-clan to take similar positions.

Additionally, Revenge is one of the most active members of the Clan - never have I seen him shirk away from a competition. To build upon that, he has always included the information about those competitions to his members, asking them for their continued best effort. And he has done this quite a bit... In fact, almost an entire year as a RollMaster of House Acclivis Draco - unwaivering, even as the House Summit continuously changed around him. His dedication then shifted to leadership, where he proved himself an excellent BTL and the eventual choice for Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco.

Already, as the House Leader, Revenge has been a huge factor in the direction the Clan will be taking. He places his member's interest and values before his own and brings genuine, construcitve criticism to the group. For being a rolemodel of an active member, dedicated leader and intelligent Clan Elder - I recommend RevengeX for this award.

Braecen Kunar

Ood is a valued member of Scholae Palatine. Valued not only by his peers, but those whom he directly works with in the chain of command.

He is a constant source of activity. His work in the Shadow Academy goes deeper than the countless courses (well over 25) courses he has done. It includes his work as Eclectic Pedagogue and his promotion of the course and material within it. Combine this with his 'engine' of activity in House, Clan and DJB-wide competitions (not to mention he has received Cr-A, Cr-S x2, Cr-E, DSS and several LSs) it is hard not to notice how active and vital he is to the Clan. But the accolades do not stop there... Ood has, as an Envoy, still found time to host several competitions (Unholy Keys & IRC Trivia) in between his vital work as an Envoy.

His other feats that are note-worthy are in the work he does behind the scenes for the Clan Summit and KCE. Each week, Ood mentors countless members by sending regular weekly contact letters that help promote their continued activity. Recently, he has accepted an Asst. Envoy (JH Zeron) to mentor and groom for future responsibilities. Additionally, Ood has provided much necessary feedback on the Clan Merit System, direction of the Clan (leadership discussions), attended several Clan Conclaves, keeps the Clan Power list updated and provided us with the necessary information for the transition from squirrels to Taurill.

He is a role model of what Scholae Palatinae requires in her members and leaders. Please award Ood Bnar his first Steel Cross.

Braecen Kunar
