Ji, the name itself is short and conclusive. The person behind it, however, is far more large and complex. He is constantly thinking, constantly finding new ways to change the House he is in and the brotherhood itself. He has constantly astounded me with his logic, and creative way of thinking. He is rarely wrong, and when he is he researches so he can get it right every time.
I met Ji on IRC, but only fully realized what he was when I played an NPC in the final Cestus run-on. Ji's creative thinking twisted the entire story into something that I never expected. It was exciting, adventurous, and all-in-all, just a good way to end a house. When he became Proconsul of Clan Tarentum, I fully supported him. He always had an idea, and never hesitated to implement it. He was always complimentary, even his criticisms were positive. He never EVER criticized another member, just to criticize them; just to tear them down. He always looked for ways to improve, to reform, and to renovate. Ji was very inspirational in the reformation of the clan. His work in Cestus helped him to build the Houses of Reinthaler and Kaerner. He knew which people would be supremely able to do which job, and he was right.
Then, during the Rite of Supremacy, he really took the reins. He bombarded members with encouragement, and his positive attitude was infectious. He was the main reason that I earned 7 seals, he just inspired me. And I guess he inspired others as well, because he was awarded a Sapphire Blade. But the ornamentation didn't give him a big head, he continued to be positive and encouraging as before. His latest work has been some of his greatest. He was one of the key masterminds of the current Tarentum storyline, "Theocracy of the Unwilling", and worked exceptionally hard on reforming the entire Tarentum Armed Forces. There was never a moment on IRC where he wasn't busy doing something else, and his response times were less than rapid because of it. The results of his work were always spectaculor, well thought out, and carefully drawn up.
Ji, you amazed me. You have truly made Tarentum into what it is, and you have been an awesome fellow Tarenti, Aedile, and person. My blade is always in your service should you so desire it and I really really appreciate all you have done. If anyone deserves this award, it has to be you. Congratulations my friend, you have earned it.
~Severon Vercingetorix
BTL of Spectre
When Ji first joined the DB, he immediately set to work on the run-on that was taking place, as well as several competitions that were running concurrently. He amazed everyone by picking up on activity right away. That ethic never left Ji, and was only reinforced as time went on.
Others will list his accomplishments, but I feel like Ji's accomplishments to date are nothing compared to what he has up his sleeve. He may be taking a break from leadership, but Ji works endlessly on various projects, churning out greatness while others just idle on IRC.
His track record is amazing, and I can't wait to see what he contributes further, not just to any individual unit, but to the DB as a whole. His excellence as Proconsul, Aedile, and various other positions, official or unofficial, have proven that Ji is more than worthy of an Amethyst Kukri.
~Dralin Fortea
BTL of the Reckoners
Ji is worryingly charismatic, for a Tarenti. Obviously a rising star in the Brotherhood, he is often the first point of contact between Arcona-Tarentum relations, and he works tirelessly to preserve such good relations, making sure to forge friendships in both of the Houses that extend beyond the Brotherhood. This amiability has set an excellent example to his members and I can think of nobody better to recieve such a reward in Tarentum. Well done, and thanks for being such an excellent counterpart and putting the needs of the Brotherhood above the needs of any one clan.
~Sashar Erinos, di Tenebrous Arconae
I will let others wax poetic about what Ji has accomplished during his time in Tarentum, and instead focus on his time working with me as my Magistrate. Although the project is still on-going, Ji has already managed to go through a few hundred articles, critically looking at them and noting any discrepancies that he finds. The amount of time, work and effort that it takes to do such meticulous work is hard to explain, but it is something that he has jumped in with both feet and has proven to be adept at finding what needs to be found. He truly wants the DB to be better and has aimed to ensure that our fictional reality is rock-solid. His efforts on the Wiki Audit are tremendous, and he truly does deserve recognition for it
~Halcyon Taldrya
Voice of the Brotherhood
Ji and I got off on the wrong foot. As a newer member of Tarentum, I used to dislike him intensely. During his time as my peer and as my leader he has done more than enough to reverse that opinion and to earn my respect and friendship several times over. He has worked tirelessly on various aspects of Tarentum's fiction, making sure the wiki stays up to date, that everyone understands what's going on, that everyone who wants input gets to have it, and most importantly that creative control isn't captured in the hands of only a few influential members.
At times when I have felt that my opinion as a leader in Tarentum wasn't being sought or listened to, he has reached out to me and asked for it. When he has made promises to me, he has followed through on them. When I have disagreed with decisions he has always been willing to discuss and debate with me - and most importantly, he doesn't dismiss my concerns outright or acquiesce to them under pressure. He does what a good leader should do: listens, considers, and makes an informed decision.
I am pleased to add my recommendation for Ji. He has done more for Tarentum than most of us will ever hope to do.
~Scion "Firebird" Altera
Aedile of House Tarentum
When I first met Ji, then Huldrych, he was a Guardian of House Cestus trying to serve the house and clan the best way he could. He was always friendly, always willing to help new members which aided in the crucial task of member retention. For his hard work he was selected to become an Aedile to then Quaestor Sato Tarentae and served with distinction for two months. As time went on we both grew into our house, receiving our Knighthood and after the 9th GJW we both were selected as leaders of our house in a difficult position. The three of us, Ronovi, Ji and I worked diligently as we molded a new future for our house with fresh ideas and daring plans. In the house summit circle I truly began to notice the brilliance of Ji Kâawill des Oulrevent. Ji was always coming up with new and different ideas, sometimes these ideas were welcome and in the direction we wanted to take the house, and other times they were ideas that we put on the back burner for a later date. None the less, Ji Kaâwill kept at it, never giving up, always trying to come up with someone new and fresh for the membership. To me this is a very admirable trait as people who have the vision and willingness to work hard for their vision. In my opinion, Tarentum would not be where it is today without Jiâs hard work on several levels. For his hard work and sacrifices made for the clan/house and his commitment to the future of the Brotherhood, I recommend that Ji Kâawill des Oulrevent by awarded a token of our appreciation for all that he has done in the form of the Amethyst Kukri.
~Aegis Fang
He pwned in the Rite of Supremacy, earning a Silver Nova for fiction. He ran House Cestus's final run-on as its last Quaestor. He assisted in coordinating the house reform of Tarentum, when Kaerner and Reinthaler were created as the clan's houses. All this earned him a Sapphire Blade, and I looked forward to see how he would top that.
Ji K'awiil des Oultrevent didn't disappoint me. As Proconsul of Clan Tarentum, he was a key conceptualist for the storyline "Theocracy of the Unwilling" and its continuing run-on, "The King and the Gods." He was mostly responsible for the new fictional system of government for the clan, the Yridian Kratocracy. He was the main coordinator of Navy and Army reform in Tarentum, creating the Yridian Surface Command and writing spreadsheet after spreadsheet of new ground forces and ships. He appointed a High General and a Fleet Admiral and jumped right back to work, and Halcyon appointed him as Magistrate to the Voice and worked with him to direct a massive wiki audit in order to maintain canon within the DB universe.
But look at me, simply listing one tangible accomplishment after another like I'm attempting to burn them out of my system. The truth of the matter is, I miss having Ji in Tarentum. He has more amazing plans for the Brotherhood, working in Arcona and conceiving a potential light side house for the club. What he is, more than anything else, is progressive. He is vigilant of others' progress, while he attempts to push the organization forward in its efforts to stay afloat and relevant in the contemporary, perhaps conceivably post-Star Wars era (though that may be a matter of opinion). Never before had I seen a leader so concerned for other members, making sure not only that they were safe and happy on public forums but also that they were being justly rewarded for their activity.
I began working with Ji when I was Aedile of Cestus and he was Rollmaster. We both became the house's main summit, I Quaestor and he Aedile, before I ascended to the clan summit. We worked as Consul and Proconsul together, then Quaestor and Aedile after the downsizing. In short, Ji was my second-in-command for nearly two years. We had many disagreements, and many of our conversations ended with Ji losing a few braincells due to my occasionally obtuse behavior as a still learning leader. But we got stuff done. By God, we got stuff done.
There aren't many people like you, Ji, and when it comes to your drive, I wish there were. I hope you enjoy the honor of having this Amethyst Kukri on your dossier, as a reward for your hard, arduous, and unfortunately somewhat unrecognized work. Thank you for all that you've done, and good luck in all that you do.

Sith Warlord Robert Sadow alias Bob, is one of the long term highly active members of Clan Naga Sadow, who does an impressive and valuable amount of work for his Clan. Along with his work maintaining the CNS Master Student Program as Clan Rollmaster he has also designed competitons for his fellow members and has recently done a lot of work revamping the Black Guard project making it more interesting and relevant to modern members. He also has a calm considered opinion on most Clan related discussions. In addition to this he worked extremily hard in the recent Rite of Supremecy fighting hard in the ACC and also placing first in a fiction event and third in the poetry which played a piviotal role in Naga Sadow winning those events and itâs eventual impressive third place. He is fully deserving of this award. ~Malisane Sadow.
I think Bob is a living legend. He has held every leadership position in CNS/HNS, from Rollmaster to Consul. He's mentored countless of members including myself in the ways of the Dark Brotherhood, and also speaks his mind when an issue arises in his mind or there is something on the table that needs to be discussed. Before he became Clan Rollmaster of CNS, Bob was the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos. Bob taught me the ropes of the job as I was his Aedile, helping him run the house. Although his term was short, he provided a basis for where HMR has been heading fictionally. Bob was the Clan Rollmaster and in charge of the Black Guard, a guard that protects the leadership from any wrong doers. Bob has been making every bit and piece of that unit better than it was before, creating new weapons and training halls for the guard. He also engaged in Operation Wake UP, where he would email the apprentices, novices, acolytes, and protectors, almost every week until they decided to respond to his emails. It woke some of our members up, but some remained quiet even after what we joked as "Bob spammage." During the RoS Bob placed in 3 events, as well as competing in about 10 other events out of the possible 15 events. Which during the that time of 5 weeks to compete in all of those events, is a feat in of itself. During the house feud that I ran several months back, he single handedly earned 47 points out of the Night Hawks' combined score of 110 which to earn that amount of points, he had to participate in every event that I had to run, and get a bare minimum of just the participation points and a few placings. Bob has more than earned the right to be awarded an Amethyst Kukri and I wish this had gone through sooner my old friend. Congrats Bob! ~OT Fremoc Pepoi, Magistrate to the Fist
Bob is awesome, that much is clear to just about everyone in this Clan. I've no doubt that the other reccomendations have highlighted his participation in the recent Rite of Supremacy, where he flung himself into the events, especially the ACC (which as anyone who braved the ACC during the RoS will tell you, was no walk in the park, even if people had the benefit of experience. Bob did not and still held his own.) and his work as Quaestor of HMR and more recently as Rollmaster. In both of these roles, he got stuck in and made the kind of new, changes that keep things fresh, while also leading by example and actually particpating in the day to day doings of the Clan. He's the kind of guy who is always willing to pitch in and help out and when, like me, you're a rookie Quaestor, it's a big comfort to know that he's willing to do that and that he's always got a moment to chat and give you a bit of advice on whatever sticky situation you may encounter. He's pretty much a CNS institution and I hope he likes the way we show our appreciation. Congrats! - Dyrra Skye, HLK QUA Emeritus.
Robert Sadow is known to every member of CNS (and a fair few outside of the Clan) as officially one of the nicest guys in the Brotherhood. He's dedicated, friendly, always willing to listen to questions and offer advice, and balances all this with a fervent desire to improve this Clan and to do everything in his power to assist CNS when he is needed. That has showed itself in his work as Consul (unfortunately cut short due to technological problems) and his swift return to leadership roles once his internet was restored, which displayed his desire to help out in any leadership role he could. As Quaestor, Bob did a great job training his Aedile, Fremoc, for the position and making sure Fremoc knew the ropes; as Clan Rollmaster, he has been doing some sterling work developing the Black Guard and building up the Master Student Program to get new members trained and keep them active. His participation during the RoS was stunning; I believe Bob entered every event, even the ACC (in which he wasn't previously qualified), and his performance in every field was excellent. In the ACC, and despite his worries following the first round, he came out strong in the next two rounds to win four of his six battles, including a stunning defeat over Timeros which was very well deserved. Couple this with his desire to motivate the rest of the Clan and his encouraging emails inciting others to submit to the various events and get their ACC posts in on time, and you have a perfect example of a member who regularly shows their dedication and how much they care about their Clan. Bob is the kind of member that we could use more of; he's an absolute joy to know and work with, and I feel this Amethyst Kukri is just a small token of our appreciation for everything that he has done for CNS. Thanks a lot, Bob- have a drink on me. ~KPN Manji Keibatsu Sadow, Consul Emeritus of Naga Sadow
Back when HNS was a Clan made up of two Houses, in recent history HMR has dominated HLK in terms of the quality of their work and in the sheer amount of activity they've produced. This is due, in no small part, to Kharon Daragon's (bka Bob Sadow) choosing to make his home there. Our Beloved Drunkard has been a driving force in HNS ever since I myself had joined, giving me a great example of how one should be viewed when a member reaches the level of veneration as Bob has. He gives of his time and energy when he has it to spare, without thought of reward or thanks, and even when he is not around, his legacy is such that he is still talked about...in a great way, of course! As one who is striving to make his mark in the hearts and minds of the membership, I am thankful that I have Bob as an example of what it is to give of oneself to the thing one loves, and to thoroughly enjoy one's self doing it. Bob guides the youngest of our fresh recruits, and is respected by the eldest of our veterans; one should be so lucky to gain half of the prestige that he has during his time here. Activity wise, Bob's shining example grows even brighter: in the time since his last Sacramental Award, he has earned no less than 16 Crescents, 14 Seals, including one of Loyalty, two Novae, including a Gold one. He even found time to earn a Legion of the Scholar and serve in both a Rollmaster and Quaestor capacity! Impressive...most impressive, Kharon! Therefore, it is without hesitation and with no reservation that I lend my name to Bob's recommendations to receive an Amethyst Kukri. We thank you for all you've done, Bob, and I'm sure that Fred thanks you, as well. Congratulations! KE Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow (Krath)/AED/House Naga Sadow
Bob, Bob, Bob... what more can one say about the only other man who has been here since the very beginning? It says it all that, aside from Tron himself, Bob is the one person who can stand up and say that, not only does he remember House Naga Sadow, but he was there, on the ground floor, leadingâback in 1998! I was only 12. It seems crazy to think how much of his life Bob has put into this House, Clan, now House again. Nostalgia aside, it amazes me how much Bob hasn't just sat around, but continues to breathe as much life into Naga Sadow as he can. I remember a man who played video games. Then I remember a man with a seal. Now I see a man who has turned his hand to writing, and is continuing to get better all the time. (True, lately he's succumbed to the same dual identity crisis that seems to afflict all the Sadow elders, but nobody's perfect. I blame the beer.) For example, in his recent work as Rollmaster, a position that has generally been utilised for any real constructive purpose by only few and far between, where he not strived to revitalise the age old Master-Student relationships, the bonds of friendship that arguably form the lifeblood of much of the club; but in which he simultaneously worked to put life back into the Black Guard, which he managed by working closely with the younger leaders (which, in respect to Bob, could be said to apply to all of us), organising the rolling quarterly competitions. We may now be a House, but his work as Rollmaster continues to live on, with his successor, Malisane, together with Macron and the Battleteam Leaders currently working to find new ways to carry on the quarterly cycle. But it's not just what he does "formally". It's who he is. And who he is is what keeps many people here. Bob is one of those people who symbolises what the Dark Brotherhood is about. He's not here for personal gain, he's not here for awards, he's not here for promotions, he's not here for the countless other immaterial trinkets that he could have picked up along the way: no. He's here for the members, and always has been. Where these days I so often myself feel at a certain "distance" from the younger members, feeling like one of the crusty old timers, I have never, never been able to think about about Bob. He's got a youthful energy and a desire to engage with all members, not just from his own generation (were that the case, he'd be in a cottage only chatting to the ones with false teeth and grey hairs), but also all of the youngsters, the ones who form the future of not just our house, but the whole club. Bob represents something important, and that, more than anything that can be quantified in words or numbers, is his greatest gift to the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Bob symbolises community. He symbolises what all members should strive for. Not medals, not trinkets, but friendship. Family. Whatever we give him, I'm sure he'll feel he doesn't deserve it. Whatever we give him, I'm sure it'll never really be able to represent what his efforts have meant, do mean, and will continue to mean. Nonetheless, while a picture on a website will never be enough, if nothing else this is our opportunity to say: thank you. Congrats, Bob. You deserve it.
Xanos Zorrixor, Darth Vexatus
Bob, aka Kharon Daragon, aka Robert Daragon Sadow is exactly what makes this club shine and a good place to be. I'm not going to enumerate his many vendetta and War events here as my colleagues above have done so already. Rather, I'd like to point out the overall picture. Bob was the first person to welcome me into the DB back in early '05. Even back then I knew he was something special. Without him, I would not be here today leading Naga Sadow, or at any other point. Bob is a special guy (no pun intended.) even when not in an official leadership position he continues to lead. He's always there asking to help, fixing things, cooking up great fictional enhancement ideas, and making the new folks feel at home.Bob loves this place and his heart has been in it since the earliest days. If you consider the things he has contributed over his immensely long time here, the overall picture is staggering. Can I count the number of positions he has held in Naga Sadow? I can't. Multiple times of service across virtually every position.
And please consider this: every one of the people that has come though CNS/HNS has felt his influence in a positive manner and that has enriched this entire club over many years. A large part of our identity as a House came from his brain even before some of us whippersnappers got here. This club would not be the same without him.
Macron Goura Sadow, HNS QUA, Son of Sadow
Bobert...the hell hasn't he been over the last two years? After Ashia resigned from Consul, he quickly took up the mantle, pwning so incredibly that I felt his work even outside of the Clan. As a Docent he has served Aabsdu and myself loyally for over a year as an Eclectic Pedagogue and Docent, earning himself a Service degree for his works and dedication. Outside of this however is where his work really shines in my eyes. As Proconsul there were different men I looked towards for guidance and council. Bob was one of those men. There are forms and documents on "when a leader should step down", but Bob knew this way before hand and stepped down as Consul 6 months back before it got to himself and the Clan. Since then, he has served us as Quaestor of Marka Ragnos and later as Clan Rollmaster. What amazes me is his way of knowing what the Clan needs and moving into that position with such professionalism and integrity. His work with the Black Guard alone is something to marvel at, as he constantly emailed Manji and I with updated proposals, policies, and works. Among these are countless wiki articles, member administration, a new system that improvises a two month rotation on all summit members and their Black Guard...I could go on. When I took on the position of Headmaster, my heart never left Naga Sadow. Nor did I forget about those that were kindest to me when I was a stranger in the Clan. With his recent return from exile (REAL LIFE TROUBLZ), I knew that we had to get him rewarded. Though Manji and I are not on the summit anymore, I felt this was a priority that could no longer be set on the back burner. For his ability to see into a problem and be the solution, I'm humbly recommending that Robert Sadow be awarded the Amethyst Kuri as a token of Naga Sadow's appreciation. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood

Another constant aid has been Korras Tarentae, who has been doing a lot of heavy lifting with the MAAs office as of late, helping process the day to day stuff and freeing up Kaek to work on his enhancements to the office. He's also been a key advisor and proofreader on my projects, from the Clan Force Powers to the forthcoming Armed Forces reset. Korras has been a friend to me in the past, and it is good to see him working toward the betterment of the club again, reminding me of how much of a dynamic force he can be. His assistance has been invaluable to my efforts, and It is for that reason that I am awarding him an Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations, old friend.

Macron, the mad alchemist, has been a fixture in the clan for some time. He's one of the cast of characters that makes life in the Brotherhood so entertaining. Always ready with an obscure reference and a wind-twisting rationale for whatever crazy thing he's doing, he definitely keeps us on our toes. His participation , not only in vendetta events, but also clan events, is consistent and strong. But that's not why I am typing today. Macron has a history of working on things just for the betterment of the club. He doesn't demand acknowledgement for his work, he just plods along and continues to deliver. This makes it easy for his leaders and those responsible for rewarding him, forget that he's there, as they get used to the quality that he is delivering. His works on the Dark Side Compendium were great, his assistance in the hand to hand guide was invaluable, his continuing work to develop more in-universe courses fro the Shadow Academy is stellar. The man is my personal subject matter expert on all things related to alchemy, and I often find myself fact-checking with him on my various projects to ensure feasability. And that's all before we consider his work as Consul, as QUA, as envoy, as a DV author, the list goes on. And yet, despite having been largely overlooked for some time, he's continued to ask for more to do, a mark of someone who truly cares for this club. That is why I am reccommending Macron Sadow, the mad alchemist, for an Amethyst Kukri. You've more than earned it. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
Macron has been one of the Clan's leading members for a long time. His last Merit award was for a Steel Cross for the outstanding participation in the 9th GJW. He has been inspirational leader, a hard working member on the various projects he has worked on (like helping in the creation of the Lightsaber Guide). He knows what it means to be a part of this club; the sacrifice and long hours needed to get anything done. He's earned himself at least half a dozen or more merits for outstanding work and commitment to his Clan and the Brotherhood. This is one of those members don't worry about the position they are in as long as they know that they're making a difference. Macron has made a difference, now it is time for the Brotherhood to acknowledge this. - SBL Ashura Isradia, PCON
Macron's been around for quite a while now, and is another of those members whose contributions to the DB are many and numerous; he's given a lot of time to the Brotherhood over the years, and his drive and determination to keep helping is incredibly impressive. Macron's been involved in lots of fields during his time here, and each one has been made better for his presence; he's been a valued member of Clan Naga Sadow since his first day in the Brotherhood, and he's also been involved heavily with the ACC, the Shadow Academy, and several projects with Muz that have an impact on the Brotherhood as a whole. For these reasons and more, it is my great pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend Macron for this Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations, Mac! ~KE Manji Keibatsu Sadow, Consul of Clan Naga Sadow

Aabsdu is not the loudest among us, but he is the one of the most consistent and persistent that I have met. His projects don't often get a lot of screen time, as most of us veteran members rarely head down to the Shadow Academy for much, but he has done a lot, from categorizing the EPs into professors and helping bring down grading times, to consistently releasing new content and working to rework the SA site code (which desperately needed it). After almost two years with Aabsdu in charge, I can say that the Shadow Academy is a much more effective tool for the new joins than it was previously. And with the work he and his staff have been doing with my plans, it stands to continue improving as a tool in our drive for continued growth. To that end, Aabsdu is to be recognized with an Amethyst Kukri, as a symbol for his work in the Shadow Academy to improve the overall institution and its place in our Brotherhood. ~ Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
This is a reccomendation for Aabsdu for an Amethyst Kukri. Aabsdu has always participated and lead the Dark Jedi Brotherhood at a very high level. His patience and hard work has helped the Brotherhood keep the Shadow Academy at a high level, while further improving it. Furthermore, his work through club wide events has helped the brotherhood run events, and face challenges smoothly. It is for his exceptionally high level of work that I recoomend Aabs for the Amethyst Kukri. ~ Alexander Anderson, Praetor to the GM
Oi, where to begin. I've been Aabs' right hand for going on 8 months now, and a year and a half before that as a Magistrate. In that time we've stood side by side and brought forth new policies and changes that no Headmaster has done before him. His ideas are fresh and always inventive, a treat that we at the Shadow Academy rarely get to see. Aabsdu is just shy of hitting the 1 year 10 months as Headmaster, which will make him the longest serving Headmaster in recent years. In the last two months alone, Aabsdu has released countless amounts of new projects and so forth. Just to name a few, he's released more than a handfull of degrees, courses, and oversaw the entire re-code of the SA in PHP. Aabs' is also a great listener. He listens to every single one of my ideas, and either shoots them down or puts them on the main burner. Just recently in fact I came to Aabs with the idea of getting rid of the EP system, and replacing them with Professors/Docents. Aabs took the idea and ran with it, as you can see now. It's in my eyes that I believe that Aabsdu has more than earned this award. Grats Gepetto. ~Taigikori Aybara, Praetor to the Headmaster.

Since my first day in the Brotherhood, Manji has been a force of progress and success both within the clan and house. A writing prodigy and a true leader, the first Keibatsu has been involved in, if not at the heart, of many of the traditions that make our house great. Having served as my Aedile, Quaestor, Rollmaster, and been one of my best friends and someone I can always turn to for advice, it's really a pleasure to be able to help recommend this medal, as a chance to say thank you.
Manji has, until recently been very involved in his band, and college. However, he displayed the mark of a true ally when, after completing his college work, immediately took up activity again in the House. To be return with such vigor is something I greatly admire and I believe should also be rewarded. In addition, Manji has long served, even when mostly absent, as a judge for the ACC. Coupled with his astounding literary skill, he has been a great asset to the whole Brotherhood through this. This also, deserves to be rewarded. As a combination of many efforts and long time service, in addition to his effort in items currently under development, I fully recommend Manji for an Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations, brohim! Raven
Manji getting a Amethyst Kukri?! AWESOME! When I first joined the DB eons ago he became my first master, trying to show me the ropes. And his most recent return to the DB has been a fun one. Running into Manji both fictionally and non-fictionally has been a nice boost to my DB career. He is always active and trying to help people out and get them to do things. Recently he even applied to become my AED, an application I was surprised yet glad to get. Taking him on though as my RM has been a great pleasure of mine. He puts forth a lot of effort and tries to get others to do the same. Participating in events and encouraging others to do so has kept the House members going. He has also been a great asset into getting the new programs I have been trying to implement to my house up and running. Manji is always there to help with ideas, and to give opinions and fresh ideas. Showing time and time again that he wants others to be active he defiantly deserves this award! CONGRATS!!!!! KAP Jade Sadow
I personally have only known Manji for the short time I have been here. But over the months that I have been in the DB, Manji has always been someone who participates and helps in anyway he can. Being the guy that he is and his vast knowledge about the DB and being a leader, he helped me rebuild the Night Raptors and answered many questions that I had. Being the rollmaster of Marka Ragnos, he helps all the new people that need help and answers all questions that they have. He has been an asset in the past month to the ACC as an operator to help the new CM run the ACC smoothly. Manji deserves this award more than anyone I know in the Brotherhood, especially considering that he is able to do everything he does for the Brotherhood while also maintaining a real life.

Manji has earned many accolades and performed a lot of serious work since his return to House Marka Ragnos. Clan Naga Sadow has awarded him the Clan Name in recognition of his efforts to help his Clan, which bespeaks of how much we all appreciate him and his efforts on our behalf.
Personally, I cannot speak highly enough of him. In my opinion, he is one of the best people we have in the Clan. When I first joined the Clan, he took me under his wing and got me going. I attribute my love of both runons and ACC writing to his efforts to direct me towards them, and mentor me. I've seen him mentor many outstanding club members in the time I have been here, and some of them achieved Knighthood. Now with his return and herculean efforts on the part of his Clan and the Brotherhood at large, it is certainly time he was rewarded. Congratulations, Manji-sama. Macron Sadow
It is hard for me to condense what I think of Manji into a paragraph - I could go on and on about his many good points, both within and without the Brotherhood. I'm sure other people more qualified people have explained his achievements and how he fulfills his duties. So I'm going to highlight one particular point that I feel I'm qualified to talk about and that is the way he interacts with other members. Manji has a lot of time for people, no matter who they are. If someone needs his help with something, he'll do whatever he can. He's helped me personally, and I've seen him helping a lot of the other journeymen that I know. They look up to him. He never lets anything get him down and his enthusiasm and his enjoyment is infectious. He makes this club a more enjoyable place to be for me and those who know him, just by being here, making friends with people and having fun with them - which is the entire point of a club like this. I am proud to be associated with him. GRD Dyrra Skye
A wise man once told me that those that dont think that they deserve awards do. Truer words were never spoken in the case of Nekura Manji Keibatsu.
His work has been recognized, and duly rewarded, by a Seal of Loyalty and his naming as a Son of Sadow, the highest honor a member of Naga Sadow can receive. He has also been willing to pass on his love of writing and of the Star Wars Universe by instructing others in the art of Combat Writing in his service as Operator of the ACC. Manji has been instrumental in the plotting of the course of Naga Sadow, as his fictions and award-winning run-on entries have had a direct affect of our history and direction.
Manji wholeheartedly puts his Clan above his personal needs, serving with distinction and honor in nearly every Clan and Brotherhood-wide competition, and posing as a true role model for every member, from the Adept to the Initiate. His works are enjoyable to read, thoughtful, imaginative and cognizant of his true love, his reason for belonging to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood: that of an infectious fascination of the Star Wars Universe and how we as Brotherhood members choose to envision our corner of it. In times of duress and calm, of feast and famine, Manji has never wavered in his devotion to Clan Naga Sadow, nor has he faltered in making sure that the DJB is better for the passing of all those whom surround him. He has been a stalwart companion, wise council, loving friend and brother, and as it has been my singular honor to serve alongside him, it is with extreme pleasure that I, Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, do hereby and without reservation recommend Nekura Manji Keibatsu Sadow for an Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations!
KE Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow
Aedile, House Ludo Kressh,Deputy Combat Master, ACC
Manji Keibatsu Sadow has shown great activity for his House and Clan as well as Dark Brotherhood. Manji is always quick to rise to the need of the Clan during times of War as proven by the 12 Seals of Unity he earned during the Ninth Great Jedi War. Along with his amazing effort during the Ninth Great Jedi War, which earned him a Grand Cross of the Dark Side, he also earned 2 Gold Novas. Manji took 1st place in the Free Reign fiction event and created 33(most in the Clan) quality entries that helped develop an enjoyable and exciting Clan Run On that assisted Clan Naga Sadow in achieving First place in that event. Manji also has dominated recent Clan events as well; earning an Anteian Cross recently for taking 1st place overall in the Clan Artisan Competition: Fractured Mirror.
Along with his fine participation in competitions, he is a major contributor to Clan Development through the various WIKI articles of House Marka Ragnos and his outstanding work in helping create the Disciples of Ragnos, as well as leading the way on the current restructure of the program. http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Disciples_of_Ragnos
Manji also spends his time bettering the Clan by taking the responsibility of leadership roles as he currently serves as the Rollmaster of House Marka Ragnos. His contributions also go beyond just Clan Naga Sadow with his work in the ACC. Manji is a leader by example, who spends his time encouraging and assisting his members. Combine his individual accomplishments and his leadership experience and I believe Manji Sadow has earned the award of a Amethyst Kukri. CON Robert Sadow

Malidir Trepidus Erinos Arconae: First Hero of the 9th Great Jedi War. Heh. I dont even know where to begin. Since Malidir and I both appeared in Arcona, hes been a staunch ally, an able leader (serving as Quaestor, Aedile, Rollmaster and Battleteam Leader innumerable times over the last 3 years) and in every way my better. As an Arconae, he constantly gives input into Clan Policy changes, administration, Summit Appointments and despite my training him to DJK, I truly think of him as my mentor. Hes always there when I need counsel (if I ask for it or not) and when he sets his mind to a project, he is a force of nature, as his recent War performance proves. This guy is a symbol for Arcona hes the best of what we can achieve; hes the pinnacle of the clan. He is able to give orders, to follow them, to keep a cool head during discussions, has a wicked sense of humour and is always willing to pitch in, do his part, and share the spoils of victory. <br><br>
To illustrate this, Ill list his GJW Activity: He participated in Recon Fiction, Legends Gaming, Sector Sketch Graphics, Effects of War Graphics, Skirmish 1 Gaming, In Whose Favour Gaming, Helpless Poetry, Know Your Enemy Graphics, Elimination Gaming, Know Your Allies Graphics, All of the Trivias and Codebreakers, and Placed 5th in Skirmish 2 Gaming, 7th in Chasing the Ghost Fiction, 2nd in Simulation Gaming, 5th in Potent Ink Poetry, 2nd in Garrison Fiction, 10th in Week 5 Trivia, 2nd in Free Reign Fiction and 1st in Mistaken Identity Gaming. Its no wonder he won the war Ive never seen someone display such a wide variety of skills and such a level of proficiency in each and every one. <br><br>
However, Im not the only one that wants to get in on this recommendation, so below will be some words of praise from the summit members:<br><br>
Malidir has always been something of a symbol to me, and I imagine other Arconans feel the same. He consistently sets the bar for activity and excellence in competition, which was exemplified in its truest form in the recent Great Jedi War. When we were putting together our plan for the war, there were a few pieces to the puzzle that we had yet to fit into place, and we were fortunate to have a few members step up to fill the gaps. Malidir was the greatest of these, and ended up being instrumental in our ultimate victory. <br><br>
The impact he has had on Arcona goes far beyond this, however. He is one of the most well-respected leaders in the Clan, and one of the go-to guys for any Arconan searching for a bit of advice, a good laugh, or just some conversation. He has proved his worth to the Clan many times over, and is certainly deserving of anything we can give him for his efforts. Thanks, Malidir, and congratulations. ~Legorii Kryotek Entar, Quaestor of Qel-Droma<br><br>
Malidir? What can I say, I'm just happy to be half of him, really ... that's the truth. Actually, he is the reason I go gaming and he is indeed a great, inspirational role model for others not only in our clan Arcona but in the DB itself. Although he is known as "Cluster of Fire machine" due to his superior gaming, his capability is beyond that. Take a look at his recently earned Bronze Novas for his placing in fiction events of the Ninth Great Jedi War; his Scroll of Foundations; for his service as EP of History of the Sith Empire II course for over a year, and also for his leadership in Arcona Summit as Rollmaster for 6 months in 2008... just to name a few. ~ JScumm, CMDR, Galeres<br><br>
The time has come to award one of our most loyal, most ever-present, and most capable men. Malidir, for far too long, has toiled not in obscurity but in the relative lack of awards gained to him by not only his prodigious activity but also his diverse array of skills and the activity and happiness hes brought the Brotherhood in general, and Arcona in particular. More than 300 points and First Hero in the GJW speak for themselves, of course, but thats not just it: Unlike virtually every other member of the Brotherhood, Malidir is great at not just one, but many platforms. In this GJW alone, Malidir has conquered not just Battlefront, his traditional forte, but also Empire at War <I>and</I> the fiction, flash gaming, and poetry events. The sheer breadth of activities alone should indicate just how great a member Malidir really is. When other active gamers are referred to as being like a mini-Mal, you know just how big the gap between him and the rest of the Brotherhood really is.<BR><BR>
But thats not all. Malidirs also always around in most Clan channels and #dbgaming, willing to talk and add to the ambiance. Hes held many leadership roles over the years, including the one I now inhabit, and hes helped the Summit out countless times by informing us on whats going on in the Great Jedi War, and letting us prepare for these events.<BR><BR>
Therefore, for being loyal, active, friendly, and never anything less than a credit and a boon to his Clan, and being everything a Brotherhood member should aspire to, I am proud to recommend that Malidir be given the Amethyst Kukri. ~ Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae, Quaestor of Galeres<br><br>
Malidir has, during the course of my tenure as Aedile, been indispensable to me personally. His vast wealth of knowledge, together with his hard work and dedication has meant that Clan Arcona has triumphed in this Great Jedi War. He has offered on many occasions to work with the membership of House Qel-Droma on any topic - whether it be the ACC, gaming or fiction - and has done so dilligently and with the level of expertise you would expect from someone of his calibre. Throughout the War, he worked tirelessly for the good of Arcona. I have no problem whatsoever recommending him for this award. ~ Arcturus Xyler, Aedile of Qel-Droma.
Declaring Malidir an institution within Arcona would be an understatement and calling him the soul of the Clan wouldnt be that far off base. He is friendly and humble, with few bad words for or about anyone, generally staying away from the vitriol Arcona is rightfully famous for. He has held every leadership position this side of the Clan Summit, I would be surprised if anyone in the Brotherhood had more clusters of fire than him and he is the first hero of the 9th Great Jedi War. A war in which he won Novas not only for gaming but also fiction, generating fully 15% of the Clan Arconas overall score. If the math were done I would bet he single-handedly made the difference between first and third place or maybe even fourth. I doubt the same could be said of anyone else and I dont know what Arcona would do without him. ~Etah Idanian, Aedile of Galeres. <br><br>
Malidir, in many ways, makes me think of the quintessential Arconan. Someone who most embodies everything the Clan stands for. Malidir's continued excellence and momentous activity in not only gaming, but fiction and other areas, have played a huge part in tipping the scales of the Great Jedi War in Arcona's favour. Saying he won it for us would do an injustice to all our other members who worked so hard and contributed tirelessly, but Malidir was truly in a class of his own. This is hardly an isolated occurrence, though - on many occasions, Malidir has saved the day with his excellent contributions. His stable presence in the Clan is a reminder that being active for a few months and burning out quickly is not the only way to go, his reports - whenever he's in a position to write them - are truly a joy to read, and he's always an excellent conversationalist on topics both serious and trivial. As a true example of and to Arcona, Malidir deserves the highest accolade, and therefore I have no hesitation in recommending this Amethyst Kukri for him. Thoroughly well-deserved, my friend. ~ Strategos Thanatos Entar Arconae, Proconsul, Clan Arcona. <br><br>
As shown, There isnt a bad word to be said about Mal. He IS Arcona. We are very lucky to have him, and hopefully this reward will convey a measure of gratitude we all feel towards his continued presence in the clan, the example he sets, and the future he represents. Thanks, Mal.<br><br>

For valiant displays of leadership despite adversity and for leading his clan to first place in the Ninth Great Jedi War, Sashar is hereby awarded this Amethyst Kukri. Congratulations and well done. ~ Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
From the 5-11-09 GM report:
First Place, Arcona's Sashar, will recieve an <b>Amethyst Kukri</b> for his efforts in leadership. Despite a major snafu that left him without half his summit, Sashar was still able to keep Arcona on track and fighting to unseat Taldryan.<P>
Taldryan's Shadow and Scholae Palatinae's Thran will both be receiving <b>Sapphire Blades</b> for their work to keep the war close. With so few points different and the tensions high, it was quite a feat to keep everyone going that long. Plagueis' Braecen, Naga Sadow's Bob, and Tarentum's Anshar will all be receiving <b>Grand Crosses of the Dark Side</b> as well, for their efforts. Congratulations, Consuls, and well done.

I'm not sure I could even remember everything that Dacien has done in the past seventeen months as Praetor to the Headmaster. At the surface, he spearheaded the reorganization of the Dark Side Degrees program. He's helped code every new course released, at least five, and helped code the exams. He also reads through all of the member submitted histories, which he will quickly tell you is one of the worst tasks there is, but still he does it. Not to mention the important task of getting me up to speed when I took over as Headmaster, letting me know what projects were being worked on, where he saw things going, and how things are done while I added my own flare. All of this while juggling a college education and family life. Aside from these public things, however, Dacien also does the behind the scenes work: coding improvements, proofreading documents, participating in important staff discussions, keeping the EPs in line, keeping my head on straight. He is the perfect Praetor, because he does exactly what the job was designed to do, advises the Headmaster. He is my second brain, always there to provide thoughts or counter arguments on ideas or plans that I have, and I email him ideas all the time. Sometimes these thoughts happened, other times they are killed, but all because Dacien wasn't afraid to give his input. It is his judgement and advice that I trust the most in every discussion, and indeed look to when making the final decisions. It is for these very reasons that he will be remaining on the staff as a Magistrate. Things will continue to move forward in the Shadow Academy after his time as Praetor, but it will not be a simple task in coming to trust his replacement on the same level as I do Dacien. It is for his dedication, hard work, time, and constant guidance that I award Dacien Victae di Plagia this Amethyst Kukri. ~ Sith Warlord Aabsdu di Plagia Dupar; Headmaster of the Shadow Academy

Karel's dedication and support to the SCL staff ensured that the character sheets were released on time. Without Karel's help over the past several months we would have been greatly challenged to finish the Character sheets within the year 2008. His coding support and efforts allowed for the quick solution to multiple problems and it is only fitting that he receive the AK for his efforts.
