TuQ’uan (hereinafter “TuQ”) has been a mainstay of the Plagueis summit for a long time and has been a driving force behind its success. Not only has he been a highly active member, but he’s also led by example and driven others to be successful. All this starts with his own activity and there is quite a lot to talk about. First off, he’s participated in 63 total events since his last promotion including very strong performances in both clan events in that time as well as high levels of participation in both the Collective Chronicles and May the Fourth events. From these events, TuQ netted a total of 16 Crescents (1 Diamond, 2 Ruby, 6 Amethyst, 6 Sapphire, and 1 Topaz) which demonstrates a dedication to excellence as well as participation. While on the subject of competitions, TuQ has also organized 8 of them since his last promotion, and co-organized tow more, showing an interest not just in consuming content but also creating it. On a more general note, TuQ has been an active participant in gaming events, earning 236 Clusters of Fire across a variety of games. He’s also earned 28 Clusters of Ice and 10 Clusters of Graphite for his fictional and graphics work. Further, TuQ has also been active in the Shadow Academy, earning a Maven and 3 Savant Degrees .
What makes TuQ a special member is not just his activity, it’s his dedication to making Plagueis both a successful unit and a fun place to be. He’s been a part of the Summit the entire period since his last promotion, first as Aedile of Karness Muur and more recently as Rollmaster of Plagueis. During that period he’s been a valued asset in helping to drive activity both during clan events and otherwise. He’s regularly active in Telegram both in our channel and in the other Brotherhood channels. TuQ is always willing to help out anyone, from a new member up to clan and DB leadership. He’s been a big part of our efforts to expand Plagueian lore as well as staying on top of our new members and making sure they have all the resources they need to succeed in the club. TuQ is often proactive in these efforts and very rarely needs input from me or Ronovi to do so. While we might not have had the most active new members, that doesn’t stop TuQ from doing his best to make sure they are both informed and equipped for success.
To me, though, what stands out about TuQ is that he’s a genuine pleasure to work with. Any task that’s put before him, no matter how small or large, he tackles with enthusiasm. Recently, TuQ took on the somewhat major task of helping to revive the Plagueis Podcast by both serving on the panel as well as taking on the responsibility of editing the files. As the PlagCast has been very popular amongst the membership as well as a valuable tool in passing knowledge on to the clan, being a part of bringing it back might be his most important contribution to date. I look forward to seeing where the PlagCast goes and it will all be thanks to TuQ.
For all the above reasons, I’m very proud to recommend you for this promotion. Next step, finding an appropriate seal...

Since his last award for his work as Magistrate, TuQ has somehow continued to grow and shine as a member of the staff. He’s evolved — not unlike a glorious, hat-wearing pokemon — into a reliable teammate that I know I can count on to carry out the array of administrative tasks he’s responsible for overseeing. Other than staying on top of the Competitions queue, both in pre-and-post approval, TuQ reaches out and engages with members to make sure that they have everything they need in going through the guidelines to get their activities through. His growing knowledge of the character sheet system is evident, as is his command of the guidelines we maintain. Year-to-date as of the writing of this recc on (01/01/2018 — 6/11/2018), Tuqy has approved a staff-leading 121 character sheets, approximately 21.27% of sheet approvals. What those numbers don’t track, however, is how patient and helpful TuQ is when dealing with remands and helping members out with bringing their character’s to life. His understanding of how Aspects are supposed to work is a boon, and his positive demeanor is infectious and has drawn positive feedback across the board from members I’ve talked to that have had him work with them on their character sheets.
In short, TuQ has been an invaluable member of my team. He leads by example, serves as an admin in Fiction Chat, and helps me focus on the larger elements of my job because I know that he’s doing his due diligence in keeping up with his responsibilities and dedicating his time as a staff member to improving membership experience. He makes the Voice staff look good, and I am so happy to get this space to remind him how much I appreciate him and am proud of what he’s done as a member and leader here.

TuQ’uan, my man - where do I even begin? I immediately knew we had found someone special in TuQ the moment he joined Plagueis. From his time spent at BTL of the Circle, to his work as Aedile of Karness Muur, to his ascension to Rollmaster, TuQ has reminded us over and over of his dedication, activity, and outreach to members.
TuQ’uan has always cared deeply about making new members feel welcomed and like they belong in the unit. Even when he wasn’t Rollmaster, he was making an effort as both BTL and Aedile to send welcome emails to all new members, providing links and contact information with a very friendly tone in his writing. He collaborated with Furios Morega, his Quaestor, to help further develop both the lore of Karness Muur and Plagueis as a whole, working with other clan members to create and send potential ACC venues to the Combat Master and Voice Office in order to provide more creative settings for ACC battles. TuQ also ran his own solo competitions for Plagueis consistently; I truly consider him a cryptogram master, though he has also organized other fun competitions focused on puzzles, flash games, and fiction that allow members to be creative without stressing them out too much.
The man is also quite the workhorse himself! As you’ll see from his other recs, his gaming, writing, and ACCing have all earned him clusters and awards, and he does it all with a smile. More recently as Rollmaster, he helped organize “Mysteries of Aliso,” running 3 events while participating and/or placing in 6 others. He was constantly on Telegram hyping up the event, reminding members to “get on the hype train” and reach out if they needed anything from us. And to top it off, TuQ is now our lead editor on all future Plagcasts, succeeding Viv as the master behind correcting and finalizing the audio of our admittedly long-winded podcast episodes. That’s a serious undertaking that is often thankless, and so he should be recognized for the labor.
Above all, I see TuQ’uan as the ideal Plagueian. He is active. He is rational. He is compassionate and supportive. I truly consider him a friend now, and I am always eager to hear about his ideas and strategies for making Plagueis stronger and more active. TuQ is not one to settle for status quo, but instead fights to improve the environment for all of our membership. His promotion to EQ2, consequently, is justly earned and deserved.
I truly expect TuQ to do great things, as Rollmaster, Magistrate, and anything beyond. Mentors and leaders like you remind me that Plagueis is in good hands.
Thanks a million, my friend.

It is a great pleasure to be able to create this recommendation to recognize Dek Ironius II for his activity since his last promotion. Dek is by far one of CSP’s most indispensable members and we are lucky to have him in a positioned role as well; in fact, on a personal level, I’ve found that Dek has been the most indispensable member of Imperium both in his role as Aedile and now as Quaestor. His dedication, advice, and ability to be the sounding board I need has just been one of the many ways over the past year and a half Dek has contributed to the growth of the clan. Over the past sixteen months he's done amazing work as a leader, project coordinator, and content generator for our Clan - especially for Imperium. Beyond that, he's been an amazing member from the perspective of personal activity and it is my strong belief he is ready for elevation to Lieutenant Colonel.
As an explanation of my belief, I see Dek’s activity as having two separate categories; personal activity & leadership activity. When it comes to personal activity, Dek has participated in 69 and hosted 26 (in addition to co-organizing 4 others) competitions, earned 29 crescents, completed one PvP match, 3 ACC battles, 6 other fiction activities, 9857 words of fiction, 7 Runon posts of 8126 words, completed 19 SA courses and 5 degrees, while making over 19 reports or newposts and 46 comments on the website. In addition, since he was last promoted he’s earned 1 Grand Cross, 2 Anteian Crosses, 1 Dark Cross, 1 Cluster of Fire, 37 cluster of ice, 32 cluster of graphite, and 11 seal of wrath. However, in addition to these statistics, I’d like to further draw attention to some notable achievements Dek has made. In addition to the competitions he’s competed in, he has also had thirteen 1st-place finishes, ten 2nd-place finishes, and six 3rd-place finishes from these entries. This isn’t surprising as Dek always throws his all into a submission to make sure it is of great and competitive quality. Additionally, while Dek is mostly focused on fiction and misc-related activities; he is a well-rounded member who competes in gaming and ACC activities whenever possible - having three completed ACC battles since his last promotion. Often I find myself having to encourage junior leaders to not forget about their own personal activity once they come positioned - yet, even before I was Proconsul and was Quaestor to Dek, I’ve never once had to concern myself if he was being active and setting a good example - as Dek has always been at the front of Scholae Palatinae’s activity for as long as I can remember. Truly, CSP is blessed by his presence on this front.
In addition to the personal activity, Dek has a notable amount of leadership activities to focus upon since his last promotion. For over the last sixteen months he has served in a positioned role for thirteen of these months, progressing from Battleteam Leader to Aedile and then to Quaestor in that time. As Battleteam Leader where he spent long hours developing a new concept for the house’s sole Battleteam at the time in its transitioned from Shadow Guard to Crucesignatis Imperialis. This was a mountainous effort as it was the initial push for a member-driven unit where Dek was responsible for gathering membership feedback and trying to develop it under the charge of the clan direction. This also included the additional effort of developing lore ideas and documenting those on the wiki. All of this, which I might add, was done while Imperium had no Aedile and the BTL position was basically seen as a second in command - providing assistance to the Quaestor in house development until Dek was actually boosted to the official position as Aedile. From here, he was continuing to develop our house community by taking the lead responsibilities of coordinating house competitions and monitoring all forms of house activities while also being a coach and cheerleader for our members, assisting in the guidance and instruction of our new Battleteam Leaders, and in general assisting me with further house focuses such as house lore development and project management - including covering for me for a two week period while I was away in the hospital. On top of this, continuing into his role as Quaestor, Dek has developed the central enemy for Imperium to rally against, the Moldrates, and brought their existence into lore through three Imperium fiction updates that have totalled (in addition to the plan documents) over 6000 words of lore for the House to fictionally beef itself up upon before it now dives into the co-op clan event Dek planned in joint with the Excidium Quaestor; Disruption on Mount Karbon.
It has been very awesome to see just how well Dek has jumped into the leadership life within the Brotherhood, and I look at him as a shining example of someone taking the roles and opportunities seriously to develop a positive community that others want to be a part of. This has been further strengthen by his approachability as anytime any member has voiced anything resembling an issue or complaint, Dek has been the first to reach out to them, often settling issues before the rest of us step in. One could easily be forgiven for seeing Dek as a dissenting voice in the club’s leadership philosophy, fore where many want to just keep with the status quo - Dek has been an outlying voice of reason and purpose, regularly crying for the betterment of the club, our clan, and Imperium serving its membership. Frankly, Dek genuinely cares for the people under his charge more than they will likely realize and actively looks to take care of them even at the cost of his own popularity or advancement - and that the kind of leader I respect and admire. Despite how many headbutts we have, I trust in the fact that Dek is always is trying to best represent those under his charge and trying to make the rest of us better in our duties as well. So I’m glad to be able to be the one to build up this recommendation to recognize the efforts of a great member, leader, and friend.

Dek is a powerhouse for Imperium. I highly respect Dek's passionate leadership that he's provided in multiple roles and assignments since I've worked with him in the DJB. He's always the first one to speak in favor of a member and is fiercely loyal to those that he serves. He frequently acts as a voice of reason, even when it might be the unpopular thing to do.
Dek is somebody I'd follow to hell and back.
Wagglehorn, 2018-06-08 15:00:03 UTC
Since his last promotion in November 2016, Dek has served Scholae Palatinae with dedication and consistency, being active in all areas of the club, maintaining a high level of personal activity alongside leadership accomplishments. In that time, Dek's merit awards (a grand cross 2 Anteian crosses and a dark cross) document his contributions to the Scholae Palatinae leadership team, from Battleteam Leader to Quaestor.
We're very happy with Dek on the leadership team, and the clan, especially Imperium, wouldn't be where it is today without Dek. Thank you for all your hard work!

It is a pleasure to be able to make this recommendation to recognize Calindra Hejaran with a promotion to Equite 2. Since I've been Consul of Scholae Palatinae, Calindra has been one of the most active members of the clan in both her activity rate and community engagement
Calindra's activity mostly falls under two areas: personal activity & founding of Pellaeon. When it comes to personal activity, Calindra has participated in 51 competitions in addition to hosting 16 competitions of her own, earning 21 crescents for her efforts. In addition, Calindra has gathered a collection of medals in all areas of the club; completing 12 SA courses and 1 degree, having earned 29 clusters of fire, 32 clusters of ice, and 3 of graphite, plus 3 Scroll of Foundation, 5 Seal of Wrath, and has written over 7600 words of fiction. She’s also earned 1 Steel Cross and a Dark Cross for various clan / house projects, including world building projects. In addition to the personal activity above, Calindra has been a extremely vocal and visible member of the clan; regularly involved in our Telegram channels and developing its community, making 43 comments on the website, writing 3 reports in her time as Battleteam Leader, completing 2 ACC battles, and judging 4 battles in her 3 months as a member of the ACC staff, while also making 5 Runon posts, totalling 3296 words.
Finally, in terms of positioned leadership, I refer back to some context I wrote in her Steel Cross: Last year, just before the GJW, Imperium was extremely unstable. Every position in the house saw change, and this included myself rising quickly from BTL through Aedile to Quaestor. This would normally have create a great deal of turmoil for a unit, however I was fortunate enough to have Calindra as a willing individual that stepped up to help in my plans for change to build stability to the house. For most new BTLs, they come into an already established unit and just take over the maintenance. Instead, for Calindra, from Day One she was forced to deal with creating a new team out of nothing but the above-mentioned turmoil. Given a position, and an outline of what my plan had been before becoming Quaestor, Calindra dove in to creating a new team as the new project leader. No members, no lore, no identity, no unifying factors at all. In fact, she had the competing activities of Wagglehorn to contend with as well - but they ended up working together rather than separate.
Given a position and told to make a team to surround it. Build a community to be worthy of this post. This was done through stages, first building relationships with members free floating in Imperium and Scholae Palatinae. Her focus was first just on building friendships with others and familiarizing herself with them. Calindra did this through a combination of individual email, Telegram private messaging, and engagement with our members in the clan channel. And from here, was the second stage; Building Relationships between members - where - after she had contacted everyone mentioned above, she started using the information she had to try to forge connections with people in the house. Make soft introductions, share others interests with someone who would benefit so they can connect. Basically, we asked her to be a matchmaker and this evolved (in coordination with Wagglehorn) into a discussion channel on Telegram that both Calindra and Waggle facilitated. Something that would become the Battleteam Discussion channel, and later turned into the current House Imperium channel. This was push through daily discussion topics on what people like about star wars, what their characters are like, etc. Through the combined efforts of Calindra and Wagglehorn we were getting hour-long public discussions almost every other day on these channels and that lead to finding out what roles people like to playand guiding the discussion from just want people liked about star wars - to what they wanted to play here in the club. They facilitated conversations about what eventually 2 new Battleteams would become and create unique identities for these teams. One stealth orientated and one militarily orientated. From here, we asked them to fill out these teams with the following: Battleteam Name, Motto, Theme, Patron/Canon Example, How do the teams fit into Imperium, What role do members have, and any other descriptive information. And finally, once Wagglehorn & Calindra had the pieces. They put it together into a competition event to test out what they had developed. This was a House Level event that was created through their research, ideas, and promoting that we used to carve out the formation of these teams. To clarify, in the past 3 months we have had Calindra be an active contributor to both Imperium’s and its Battleteam’s community development. In that time, she has been helpful in strategizing our initial focus on the Battleteam Creation Project and turning these two units into member-driven communities. This has been done in part from reaching out to other members in our clan, house, and BT development chats on telegram, surveying them, and participating in the lengthy hour long conversations on the initial planning of these units to figure out what kind of interests and concepts the members wanted to see in the Battleteams. Additionally, she has promoted these BT concepts and plans with other active CSP and rogued Palpatines in an effort to recruit them. Finally, she has also served as the voice on the summit for Pellaeon’s members and ensuring that we continue to serve the desires of this community along with the other communities under the Scholae Palatinae umbrella.
So thank you, Calindra. We could not manage without your continued contributions, dedication, and overall presence. Keep up great effort, especially in your new home in Excidium.
Elincia Rei, From the whole CSP summit

Calindra is a fierce warrior in our clan, but now it is time for her to shine in the spotlight and move up to the next rank she deserves. Since her last promotion, Calindra has completed 51 competitions. Over the span of that time, she also organized 16 competitions for Battle Team Pallaeon, which she designed from the ground up. When she wasn't doing competitions, Calindra headed on the battlefield and completed 14 PVP matches, judged 4 ACC Battles, wrote 7,620 words of Fiction, and wrote 3296 words for 5 Run Ons. At the Shadow Academy, she has graded 12 courses and also passed 1 course. During the latest Great Jedi War, she received 5 Seals of Wrath.
For Pallaeon, she wrote 3 different news posts. For the Brotherhood, she wrote 46 different news comments. If anyone is involved in the community, whether on the DJB or Telegram, it's Calindra!
Now that Calindra is in Excidium, she sits at the Summit and provides suggestions, edits, competition ideas, and advice for Excidiacs. We appreciate her there so much!
Thank you for all you do, Calindra. I highly recommend you for your new promotion, EQ 2!

Calodin has once again joined his peers in the Brotherhood after a time exploring the galaxy at large. During his time as both a member of Plageuis and as a Rogue he has completed his requirements for elevation. These have included his time in rank, being active in Telegram, and participating in 10 competitions while placing in two. He has also Organized a competition while a member in Plageuis, and was awarded two merit awards for his activity.
While he is currently Rogue, he is beginning to make efforts to find a new home in one of our Clans. As he is Rogue, I would like to promote him to JM 3 for his past and present achievements in the DJB. Congrats Calodin, and good luck on your search for a Clan!
