Since Aru’s last recognition, the Savant has served faithfully as Aedile for our Clan’s House Qel-Droma and as Magistrate to the Headmaster for over a year. He has organized 20 competitions as well as participated in, and I cannot make this up, 69 of them. As a result of his participation, he has earned 18 Clusters of Fire, 47. Clusters of Ice, 49 Clusters of Graphite for a total of 114 Clusters! For the RoS event, Aru was one of our clan’s heroes, earning a whopping 28 Seals of Enmity (good work!)

For the personal side of things, Aru has always brought an infectious energy to Clan Arcona and has inspired me in many ways. One of those things is to never give up. Even when he did not succeed the first time, he kept a good spirit and tried again. Along with his ambition, he has been very willing to show me the ropes of being an Aedile as well as share some of his wisdom gained in the position. Thank you, sir.

All in all, Aru has been a fantastic team player and leader and I would be proud to present to you a Sapphire Blade. Congratulations A-Aru!

One of the recently appointed, but no less seasoned members of the Odan-Urr Summit, Xolarin had occupied the position of Battle Team Leader in Odan-Urr before taking a stroll around the galaxy racking up his experience points in leadership before returning home to Odan-Urr. While he currently occupies the position of Quaestor, before that he has served as Aedile of Ajunta Pall, Aedile of Liath, Aedile of Marka Ragnos, Quaestor of Marka Ragnos, Rollmaster of Taldryan, Proconsul of Taldryan and Battleteam Leader of Vanir. All this over a span of 5 years. Even taking a break from his radventures and joining the Rogues, Xolarin remained vocal on chat and submitting to competitions. The continued effort over a long span of time and under various positions of leadership, shows to me a certain devotion to the club and it’s members. Xolarin, as true for any good leader, works for the members.

Since his last award he has participated in 60 competitions earning himself 4 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 3 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 3 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 1 Crescent with Topaz Star and 3 Crescents with Quartz Stars. For his artistic abilities he has earned 4 Clusters of Graphite. In the Shadow Academy he’s passed 2 courses.

What can be said about Ira that others don’t already know? Since coming to us in February of this year, Ira has been both a powerhouse of activity and leadership. Let’s begin first by highlighting his leadership contributions. He was Aedile of House Sunrider for a span of 4 months. During that time he helped promote Clan and House activities, ran 3 weekly Community Events while also participating in 5, and during this time contributed to something that would change the course of the Clan forever.

Ira was actively engaged in our restructuring. He contributed greatly to drafting the proposal, drawing heavily from currently established lore to create the basis of our Houses and their fictional roles. Once our Houses had been completed, we took charge of the Consular Conclave for a span of 3 months, all to get his new House off the ground. He created the Consular Conclave wiki page, ran a series of competitions that allowed the members to build onto the lore and influence the future of the Conclave. Starting a new House is never easy, but starting one during an entire restructuring is a lot to ask of someone but I could not think of anyone better than Ira to man the helm.

Now onto his activities since his last award. He has participated in 73 competitions earning himself 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 7 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 6 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 6 Crescents with Emerald Stars, and 1 Crescent with Quartz Star. For his gaming activities, he has earned 13 CLuster of Fire and 129 Clusters of Earth. He has written 804 words of fiction earning 3 Clusters of Ice, not including the 1060 words that he had put into the Consular Conclave page. Graphically, he’s earned 12 Custers of Graphite. He’s organized 7 competitions, published 3 reports all on time and during the last RoS where he heavily encouraged members to participate, he himself earned 13 Seals of Enmity.

Thank you Ira for helping make the Clan restructure possible and for your contributions to the Clan as an active and respectable member. Can’t wait to work with you on the Summit again. Congratulations on this well-earned Sapphire Blade!

Ed is a bit like the Millenium Falcon, old, a bit rough on the outside but has got it where it counts. And much like Han Solo’s famous ship, there’s no one else you’d want on your side in a tough struggle. Like an old workhorse Edgar continuously supported COU’s community, albeit in his own way, through gaming and community events.

Since his last recognition Ed has participated in an impressive 95 competitions while organizing 2 of his own. He’s taken home 20 crescents and hoarded over 1200 clusters of Fire and Earth for gaming with a nice 5 Clusters of Graphite for his on-brand artwork. All this speaks to a member who despite his claims to the contrary does not know the meaning of the word retirement.

On behalf of the leaders and community of Odan-Urr thank you for all your quiet and steadfast support. You always answer the call when the younger generation of leaders need you and our community would not be what it is without your continued contributions.

Jafits is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to gaming. I’ve never seen a member put up so many Clusters over such a long time. He’s been awarded medal after medal for his efforts but it’s time to bundle all of that up and really honor what those stats mean to the continued prosperity of Odan-Urr and the DB gaming community.

Jafits has been around for some time, roughly 15 years, and in that time has amassed approximately 4,639 Clusters of Fire, 5,423 Clusters of Earth, and 50 Pendants of Blood in 211 PvP and 544 PvE matches. That’s a hell of a lot of gaming! Not to mention the fact that he has risen all the way to Equite 4 on this activity alone.

Since his last promotion, he’s participated in 74 competitions, earning himself 6 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 4 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 10 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 4 Crescents with Emerald Stars, and 4 Crescents with Topaz Stars. Gaming wise he's earned 10 Pendants of Blood, 548 Clusters of Fire, and 1261 Clusters of Earth. He also earned 10 Clusters of Ice for 3652 words of fiction and 17 Clusters of Graphite for his artistic ability. Jafits was also one of our biggest contributors during this last RoS by earning 22 Seals of Enmity and having full bin participation!

Even during our Scimitar of Hoth competitions, he gives us a run for our money. He has claimed the Scimitar for the months of October and November and is currently placed 2nd overall with a whopping 2094.5 points!

Jafits, you’re silent but you’re deadly. Thank you for your contributions to Odan-Urr and the DB gaming community. This was well earned. Congratulations on your first Sapphire Blade!

Since his promotion to EQ3 eight months ago, Aldaric has been a key member of the Fist staff and one of the most reliable and hard working members i have known in my nearly seven years in this club. Aldaric is a driving force on the staff, driving magistrate development and management, competition organization and creation, wiki updates, policy revisions and aggressively monitoring activity approval timelines. Aldaric exceeds all expectations through hard work and a clear dedication to building a strong gaming community experience in the DJB.

Aldaric’s primary contributions on the staff are in competition organization and management. Throughout his time as Praetor, he has taken almost full responsibility for managing the monthly gaming events. Even after the shift from competitions to cluster earning for the GMRG placement, Aldaric has still ensured that the team provides regular activity to the club's gamers. Aldaric's dedication to the Fist staff and the club at large led him to organize and run multiple competitions at the club level.

Aldaric is without a doubt one of the hardest working members of my staff. He tackles every single task with an energy and enthusiasm that is unrivaled by so many others. I could not have asked for a better Praetor to help me as I took on the role of Fist for the third time. He has been instrumental to helping me develop the new Casual Gaming system, changes to the GMRG scoring model, and updates to the GMRG society. It is truly my honor to award him with his second Sapphire Blade.

Consistent activity by a member is a hallmark of this club and should be rewarded as such. Since his last recognition in 2019 Mako (Occultan) has been as consistent as one could hope for out of a member. During this time he has competed in 153 individual competitions. He has won 3 Gold Nova, 12 Crescents, 212 Clusters of Fire, 147 Clusters of Earth, 27 Clusters of Graphite, 10 Clusters of Ice, and 30 Seals over the last two Vendettas. These are stellar numbers and show that he is both an active and valued member of the Clan.

On top of the above-mentioned activity, he has passed 31 Shadow Academy Courses and earned 12 degrees. Even while Mako had to step away full time from the Brotherhood he remained active still entering into competitions and maintaining a presence on Clan Chat servers. I take great pleasure in being able to award this Sapphire Blade to Mako, Congratulations on a job well done.

There is a lot to say about Locke Sonjie. For one thing, Locke was one of the heavy hitters of Clan Naga Sadow in the recent Pro Bowl. He completed 16 of a possible 25 competitions and brought home 103 points for the Frog Dogs.

Given that his last recognition was in 2019, I do feel that gives me a decent amount of ground to cover even putting the Pro Bowl aside. He has given a LOT of counsel and direction and insight to myself and the Summit in all that time. This was a part of what he offered in the 15 months he served as a Battle Team Leader, the 9 months he served as the Aedile of House Marka Ragnos and most recently as he has taken the Quaestor's seat in the same house. In particular, Locke has proven a very down-to-earth voice of reason within the Summit. He also wrote up 5 news posts over the course of his leadership positions since his last awarding in 2019 to help keep his members in the know.

His personal activity has not been anything to scoff at, either. I am normally rather loathe to go about giving a list of accomplishments, but there is a good little bit for me to cover. In this time, Locke has organized 7 competitions and has racked up 61 competition entries on his own part. Through a variety of competitions, he has earned a small trophy case of awards including a Silver Nova for a vendetta battle plan competition, 2 Crescents with a Ruby Star, 7 Crescents with an Amethyst Star, 2 Clusters with a Sapphire Star, 3 Crescents with an Emerald Star, a Crescent with a Topaz Star, a Crescent with a Quartz Star and a Legion of the Scholar. He has also earned 5 Seals of Visions and 7 Seals of Emnity for Vendetta-time efforts!

Locke is more than just competition numbers though. He has been a bit of a monster in gaming with 22 PVP matches and 114 PVE activities. When you look at the number of Heroes of the Storm matches he can complete in a night of gaming, you realize that this is even more impressive than it looks from the above number. Looking at gaming clusters alone, Locke has earned 15 Clusters of Fire and 1703 Clusters of Earth.

Gaming is not the only arena in which Locke performs well. He is also a decent writer (in my humble opinion) and has demonstrated his skills having completed an ACC battle, written for eight fiction competitions and written 4 run on posts. His word total comes up to the tune of 6735 words- 4001 in general fiction activities and 2734 in run on content. This writing has gathered up 15 Clusters of Ice.

Taking all these things into account and given the fact that (as shown by the conversations we have had within the Clan Naga Sadow Summit) Locke very much cares for Clan Naga Sadow and her future, I feel it is appropriate to recognize his contributions to activity both within the Clan and within the club at large with this Sapphire Blade. I hope that he will continue to provide his insight and experiences to the Clan for a long time to come, and that as part of the Summit he will help create even more fun stories and experiences with all of us.

It's rare for a member to make the kind of mark that warrants recognition with a Sacramental award in a short amount of time, but some people are such a dense package of both individual activity and leadership that one is left with no alternative other than to award them as such. Qormus Aquilla is the stand out on the Plagueis summit, both as a consumer and producer, to such an extent that a Sacramental award is the only reasonable recognition for what he has done.

As an individual, he has submitted to a, frankly, insane 64 competitions since his last recognition at the end of July. This includes a 24 of 25 finish for the recently finished Pro Bowl where he scored three top-three competition finishes, earned 166 total points, and ninth overall out of 56 total competitors across four Clans. Overall, he has placed in 23 of the competitions he has entered, earning 3 Diamond, 1 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 7 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, and 2 Topaz Crescents. He has collected 50 Clusters of Earth for gaming, 9 Clusters of Graphite for graphics, and 15 Clusters of earth for his 5,562 words of fiction. He is without a doubt the pinnacle of personal activity.

What makes the above even more impressive, however, is that he was able to dedicate that level of attention to his own personal activities while at the same time performing to a level of excellence in leadership that most others would struggle to achieve with all of their focus devoted to it. In the lull period between the Rite of Supremacy and the Pro Bowl I challenged my Quaestors to develop a competition event that they individually could run to fill the gap, and Qormus stepped up to the plate with a gusto. The Aliso Summer Festival consisted of a four week long event of three competitions per week that Qormus developed, implemented, and scored all on his own. His promotion of the event via reports, email, and generated 110 total entries across those 12 competitions and was, from where I am sitting, a perfect warm up for the Pro Bowl that was greatly responsible for Plagueis increasing its total entries by more than 100 from the RoS in the Pro Bowl. During the Pro Bowl itself Qormus worked tirelessly to push both his team and his House to participate, sending out no fewer than 14 email messages to both the House email group and his members individually to promote the event. He also coordinated with his subordinate Battleteam Leader Aleister when messaging the members within Opress to ensure they weren't getting over messaged as well, with Aleister handling direct reach outs to those members and Qormus on email engagement. He has even, within the day of having them assigned, completed all of the recommendations for member awards within his unit as a result of the Pro Bowl. His work continues to be nothing short of outstanding.

One of the greatest honors a Clan summit member can have is to bestow a Sacramental award upon one of their members. The first of those awards is an even bigger milestone, and one I am thrilled to be able to award. Thank you, Qormus, for all that you have done since joining the staff. It is my hope that writing awards like this becomes, simply, the norm. Congratulations!

For the past year, Erinyes has been both the Consul and leader of Taldryan and Praetor to the Headmaster. As Consul, she saw her Clan through the latest Rite of Supremacy vendetta while participating herself and earning 11 seals. She helped to coordinate the CNS and TAL joint competition, and has run multiple phases of a Clan wide event Aggressive Expansion, organizing a total of 11 competitions along with fictional development. For this work along with the work highlighted by Ciara in the Shadow Academy, she has earned this Sapphire Blade. Congratulations Erinyes.
