Celevon, an Odanite that needs little introduction. He has not only been an active member but has volunteered to serve Odan-Urr many times over. It’s my pleasure to describe his efforts below as proof that he has earned a Sapphire Blade.
Celevon has participated in 89 competitions, 3 PvP matches, 4 PvE activities, 4 ACC battles, 18 fiction activities worth 18,644 words, 4 run on posts worth 3,112 words, 6 passed courses, 1 SA degree, 10 news posts, and 9 news posts comments. While achieving this he obtained 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 4 Crescents with Ruby Star, 8 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 2 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 1 Crescent with Emerald Star, 1 Crescent with Topaz Star, 7 Clusters of Fire, 60 Clusters of Ice, 26 Clusters of Earth, 22 Clusters of Graphite, 8 Scrolls of Foundation, 1 Scroll of the Master, 13 Seals of Wrath, 9 Seals of Fury, and 2 Seals of Discord. In addition, he hosted one community event, which took several hours of one of his weekdays, and participated in 5 community events that he didn’t host.
He served Odan-Urr as Aedile for 3 months, Quaestor for 6 months, and Proconsul for 10 months. During that time he organized 20 competitions, co-organized 12 competitions, created 10 reports (many of them quite lengthy which is nice to see), and helped write 5 fictions for the clan (2 while a House leader and 3 while PCON). I’d like to go a little more in depth into the competitions. For his clan competitions, there were multi-competition events and one of them was a standalone. The multi-competition events included a detective-based event run with a willing minion, and the other was a clan event called ‘Rumble Down Under’. For the House competitions, there were non-Scimitar events and Scimitar competitions. The former included 2 battleteam run on competitions, where he not only kicked off the run on but made sure to write at least one contributing post for each, and a house event called ‘The Price of Freedom’. For the Scimitar competitions, there were 13 of them, note that this competition requires a lot of manual counting. These competitions, clan/house events, and scimitar competitions were crucial in not only giving our members things to do but also a great community motivator.
I’d like to focus a bit more on his time as a Proconsul, specifically some key highlights. First, he was very helpful during the ACC tournament, where he led the prepwork to support Odan-Urr’s combatants. Some of these tasks included setting up the use of a tournament chatroom, identifying possible contenders, and proofreading ACC posts. Second, he worked extensively with the House Summits, whether it be for needed updates or member management. Of note, this included a full possessions update for two Houses, which for those that haven’t had to manage resources on the site takes a very long time for just one full House update. If I said each update took a full DB work week, I wouldn’t be far off. This involved coordinating and executing all house resource changes on the website, which includes verifying cost purchases, buying, handling, and organizing assets. Third, he helped me execute Odan-Urr’s transition from two Houses to one. This was a multi-month effort that included a prep stage and execution stage. The prep stage involved drafting a proposal for the clan, refining the idea after holding discussions with the clan leaders, and providing critical feedback to presentation materials created for the Grandmaster. The execution stage involved helping organize members into the new house, supporting the new house summit in its early stages, providing feedback on our new system diagram, and helping create text promotional materials for reports/emails and documents. Fourth, he was a key helper in our initial refurbishment of the Odan-Urr discord. This involved helping me redo the entire structure of our server (what channels, where to put them, are they nested etc..), redo permissions, and organize our members by tags. Additionally, it also required making updates to the Odan-Urr Communication Channel Policy, which was shared in Discord and captured in the wiki. These changes ultimately helped us pull in new members, the lifeblood of this club. All of the above was excellent service to the clan, but I have a few more things to share.
While a leader he handled a number of lore related tasks. First he completed 6 minor edits and 1 major edit, worth 565 words, to clan and house pages. These included the following pages: House Hoth, House Sunrider, Solyiat, Odan-Urr Communication Channel Policy, and Clan Odan-Urr. Second, he created and published a Novice guide to Odan-Urr’s fictional landscape, which consisted of 1,715 words. They required pulling from all current and past lore at both the clan and DB level and presenting it in an easy to digest, succinct, and informative document with helpful links. This was a great help to our younger members as well as our older members who needed to catch up on our fiction, helping to engage our members in the fictional landscape the DB has to offer. Third, he led the documentation of the Clan coalitions that we created. This required publishing to the clan, managing any edits, and adding content as we refined the idea. Fourth, he created a clan NPC used by the DB for their storylines, engaging with a fellow clanmate to make sure it would help connect Odan-Urr to the DB plot. Fifth, he helped put together content for our original Jedi Codes. All of these were very much appreciated.
Finally, a few more words on some things his bosses appreciated but often get overlooked. First, he was very useful counting and organizing. An organized mind is an efficient one and the same holds true for clans and houses. This included things like activity trackers, updating house descriptions on the website, and reorganizing our clan google drive. It's a quiet contributor but it is essential for any house and clan. Second, he was an excellent day to day administrator, which often involved getting your hands dirty and doing the work no one wanted to do but was required for those fancy ideas you wanted to execute. Whether it was crunching the numbers on the best way to run an event, member feedback surveys, or member management, the day to day administration is absolutely critical. Third, he was always a wonderful addition to planning sessions, providing much needed feedback and critique whenever needed. He had a habit of proposing good ideas that augmented the original idea to something much better. Fourth, there was a period of time where he had to do a lot of member management, whether it be resolving fights, being there for a member in need, or preventing issues before they happened. These sap a lot of time but were crucial to our early days as a summit. How long these all took, that’s very hard to tell. But I do know that it was time you spent on Odan-Urr rather than sit back and relax in the evening and for that you have my utmost appreciation. Thank you my friend.
For all the above, I am proud to recommend that he receive a Sapphire Blade! Congratulations and thank you for your service and dedication to Odan-Urr.

The Dark Jedi Brotherhood has many unique "clubs" of people within it, but very few people ever enter the Club known as Double Stabby. This is a special group of members who have earned not one, but two types of Sacramental Awards (that have pointy ends). Today, we welcome Warlord Rajhin, aka Turel, into that club.
Since Rajhin's last recognition (June 2019), he has contributed to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as the Left Hand of Justice for a period of 9 months, as an ACC Judge for a period of 3 months, and as a integral part of the Clan Vizsla creation team that saw the first new Clan added to the Dark Brotherhood in nearly a decade. In these roles he brought his usual level of professionalism and attention to detail that improved the Office of the Justicar (Bubba REC attached), the ACC Team (he did such a good job he is now the CM - graded matches and contributed to the new rubric), and Clan Vizsla (got us Clanned!).
In addition to Rajhin's contributions as a leader to our club as a whole, he has also been a dedicated participant across all avenues of the DJB's activity spectrum. He has participated in 99 total gaming events, submitted over 3800 words of fiction, taken 10 SA courses, earned 4 Degrees, earned a Bronze Nova in a Vendetta, placed and earned 11 various Crescents, accumulated 783 CFs, 10 CIs, 46 CEs, 14 Clusters of Graphite, 4 Scrolls of Foundation, and 13 Seals from the last war.
Turel (I can't ever spell your new name right), congrats on the second SB! I look forward to seeing you improve the ACC and lead it into the future!

Turel brings wisdom, passion, and experience in equal measure to his work as Left Hand of Justice. In the first half of his current term, he cogently advised multiple members on their rights under the Covenant and helped them to explain and defend their actions in ways that, without a doubt, led to reduced sentences or avoided charges. He is in many ways the ideal Left Hand: he harbors deep convictions about members' rights and has personally and publicly grappled with his own past transgressions, which lends his advice a frank and persuasive quality.
I rely on Turel for careful, thoughtful analysis, and I know that I can trust him to challenge my opinions in ways that will force me to improve or reconsider my views. Turel has advised on every major issue presented to the Chamber, including one case that went all the way through trial. He also played a key role in the Chamber's review of a clan's request to ban a disruptive member, advising the member and submitting a defense brief for the member on very short notice. Many other matters have been resolved informally, but Turel approached them all with the same care and professionalism.
I am proud to add my recommendation for Turel today.

Malik Sadow. The tree man. Master of puzzles. Former Consul. Though he has been in the club for some nineteen years (and approaching 20) Malik has remained a part of our community, and our Clan. Though he remains our Clans singular Jedi, Malik has been a welcome presence in our little corner of the DJB. Though he has not serenaded the clan with his weekly renditions of Rebecca Black's Friday recently, Malik continues to work in the background.
Since being recognized by the Quaestor of Shar Dakhan in 2017, Malik has managed to keep more than a bit busy.
Malik has been partaking in steady diet of timed competitions, with most of those 100 being jigsaw puzzles, other puzzles and the occasional trivia. He has participated in Clan events like Sands of Time or DJB events like the last Great Jedi War. More than just chewing through puzzle after puzzle, he has participated in a small variety of other competitions, including a single fiction competition, 4 graphics comps, 3 manual comps, 10 regular comps and 3 gaming competitions. Over 4 PVP events, he has seized 8 Clusters of Fire, etched out 1 Cluster of Ice for writing in Run-ons for both Abomination and Veiled Origins. Quite infamous for his stick figure masterpieces, Malik has drawn up no less than 13 Clusters of Graphite. Malik is not all about fun and games, however, having taken a Legion of the Scholar for a round of trivia in the Clan Naga Sadow Telegram channel, in which he took second place! Despite his rank, Malik has still not shied away from more mundane activities such as the Shadow Academy, where he has completed 4 courses since his last recognition over two years ago.
Now, you could argue I just spit off a bunch of numbers, right? Well, let me see if I can give those numbers a little more context. Since 2017, Malik has been no slouch when it comes to placing in competitions. Winning a couple of Lizard-Toad-Snake comps and the Winter Puzzle series in April 29 won Malik 3 Crescents with Diamond Star. 23 of his 30 Crescents with Ruby Star he has scored have been earned since his last recognition, with the bulk being cashed in on the back of his wicked puzzle-solving abilities. Not convinced of his prowess? Well, if you look at the 36 Crescents with Amethyst Star he has earned, you will see just about each one was earned by placing in another puzzle competition. Looking down his shinies, you find that with his 17 Crescents with Sapphire Star, again he earned them pretty much exclusively by solving puzzles. 2 Crescents with Emerald Star: puzzles again. Finally, even when it comes to his Crescent with Amethyst Star, you find he got it by quickly and accurately solving a puzzle.
Malik also brings his skill and acumen to the front when it counts during Vendettas and Wars. Well, at least he has for the last two that Clan Naga Sadow were involved in. During Rite of Supremacy: Meridian, Malik brought in Seals of Fury (7 of them) for two puzzles, a Hunt the Collective event, not one but two games (one flash, one mobile), taking part in the Heroes of the Storm bracket, and by taking part in the Jedi Academy bracket.
During the 13th Great Jedi War, Malik supported Clan Naga Sadow once again, this time taking part in 10 competitions including: playing a Star Wars Rebels flash game, fighting in the Jedi Academy bracket, competing in the Heroes of the Storm bracket for the War, completing another of his infamous stick figure drawing in Hearts and Minds, completing not just one "Sudooku" puzzle but two, showing off his skills in paint for Divine Wind, engaging in even yet MORE puzzle play via Laser Overload, helped to track down a fellow Jedi and tested his knowledge in an event-specific Shadow Academy course better known as "The Story So Far". While Malik did not take any Novae in the War, he did make some placements as well as the participation which contributed points to help Clan Naga Sadow place as Second Clan in the last War! He also has 10 Seals of Discord to show for his efforts.
For all these things that Malik has done, for the ways both great and small that he has supported the club, we the summit of Clan Naga Sadow wish to recognize Malik Sadow with this Sapphire Blade. It is well overdue.

In the time since her last elevation in July, Alaisy Tir'eivra has been an absolutely crucial member of my staff while making contributions that have contributed greatly to the Brotherhood as a whole. In the robe creation arena, she has done work that exceeds the normal standards established by a Magistrate in both quality and quantity. In the last seven months, she has created four unique selector robes, two as reward robes for Arcona's Great Jedi War performance and two selector robes for Herald releases. For each of those robes she created twenty unique graphics totaling eighty individual robe images when including variations and color combinations. On top of that Alaisy also created an additional three custom robes for member dossiers, working closely with each of those members to bring their desired design to life.
Beyond robes, Alaisy has also branched out to field requests in all other areas of the Herald's office. Once Xen left the staff our primary warbanner creator was lost, and so Alaisy has stepped up and created twelve individual warbanners. She also fulfilled requests for two custom Guardsman accessories for the Grand Master's Royal Guard, site report graphics for Lucine as Consul of Arcona, and a custom weapon request as well. She has continued to be an active and positive presence in the Dark Brotherhood art community, helping build that community through her interaction with members in the DB Art Channel as well as promoting Brotherhood-wide graphics competitions to drive member activity dedicated to art. In short, Alaisy has been everything that a Herald could ask for in a Magistrate and much more on top of that. Her time on the Herald staff has left me with no doubt that she can move on to higher aspirations in the Brotherhood and even fill the position of Herald some day. It is my great pleasure to award Alaisy with her first of I hope many sacramental awards in the form of this Sapphire Blade. Congratulations Alaisy, you have my thanks for all your hard work.

Aldaric' tenure on the Fist staff over the past year has been remarkable as he has provided stability to an office that was in flux. Aldaric is hard working and can be consistently relied upon to meet the offices activity approval standards. This does not simply include maintaining a 24-hour turnaround time on all approvals but also creating, monitoring and approving the Grand Master’s Royal Guard competitions on a monthly basis. During is tenure, Aldaric has run 12 competitions (including the one still in progress) as part of the Fist off monthly gaming events.
While creating these competitions, Aldaric was always attempting to look for new ways to engage the gaming community within the club. He did not focus on one single subtype and ran a wide variety of competitions. An example of this is his Overwatch cluster race, which ended up generating 1262.5 Clusters of Fire over a three week period. Another fantastic example of the work Aldaric put into running competitions is the Heroes of the Storm 2v2 bracket that ran. This competition saw six teams enter, a fantastic showing outside of a DC-run club-wide event. Not only that but Aldaric also came up with his own unique twist on the competition, restricting heroes to only the free rotation, in an effort to increase the general competitiveness of the tournament.
Aldaric also assisted with the Fallen Order: Launch Party series of competitions, creating his own caption contest but also by helping me brainstorm other competition ideas. It was important for us as an office to do something in support of the first new Star Wars game to release since 2017 and Aldaric assisted in making that a reality.
Since joining the staff, Aldaric has approved hundreds of gaming activities. He has reviewed and processed over 325 PvE/PvO activities and 38 PvP activities, all well within thereuired 24 hour timeframe. As important as these metrics are, Aldaric’s greatest contribution may be his reliability. It is no secret that the Fist office saw a lot of change in the 12 months that Aldaric served but one of the things that remained consistent throughout this turmoil was Aldaric’s reliability. He remained committed to his role and was a major contributor to the stability of the office through what could have been a very tumultuous time.
It is my privilege to recommend him for his very first sacramental award.
Congratulations, Aldaric. Thank you for everything you have done during your time on staff.

Since joining the Academy staff, Aldaric has been one of my core group of Professors I can rely on to maintain their exams, and keep them graded within an acceptable time. In the 9 months he has been on staff he has graded 179 exams, keeping his queue time at 4 hours. This may not seem like much, but the SA maximum queue time is 24 hours, and he has not allowed any exam to go over the 24-hour limit.
We have recently gone through an audit of all SA courses. When presented changes to his courses Aldaric stepped up and suggested more detailed edits to each course instead of just giving a thumbs up approving each one.
He has been an excellent addition to my staff and I look forward to his future within the SA and the DJB. Congratulations!

Len Iode has been an excellent member for Odan-Urr for a long time now, always willing to lead whenever needed and putting forth his best for the club. Today I’d like to spotlight these things and tell you all how he has been a wonderful Equite, clan builder, and mentor to others.
To start, Len Iode has served 10 months as Rollmaster of Odan-Urr. This involved a number of tasks he accomplished on a regular basis. First, he handled the standard Rollmaster emails; which include welcome emails, awol emails, rogue emails, and rogue warnings. Second, he handled master-student pairings and everyday member assistance. This includes pulling people together by doing individual member reach outs and volunteering to host several community events. For the former, this required sacrificing free time to personally reach out at all hours of the day, depending on the member’s availability. For the latter, consisting of 3 separate occasions, he spent a considerable portion of his Saturday midday hours running community events. On average attendance was 2-5 members per event and focused on the very hard problem of getting together gamers. He showed a tenacity to engage and hold other members’ attention and foster a friendly environment where every clanmate and non-clanmate was welcome. This includes day of setup, the actual hosted event, drumming up participants, and blasting out reminders for community events. Third, he helped run the clan in the small but crucial things needed to keep it running. These included tasks like tracking Odanites in public channels so we could ensure those channels best served them and that helping ensure our members were engaging with the club’s various communities on telegram, providing Odanites with weekly recurring competition roundups for a period of several months to promote club activities, and hyping the Great Jedi War before and during the event.
During that time he also filled in as PCON for 3 months, wherein he executed the duties of PCON. For the first month, he ran the day to day activities of the clan as PCON. Some of these tasks include a clan report, competition hype, and the time consuming member management. For context on member management, this was not the smoothest of times for Odan-Urr and it required close telegram oversight, taking on average 3 hours per week. For the second and third month, he helped run the clan behind the scenes. This included his input on clan documents (proposals/changes), general competition hype, and member management. This also included clan emergencies as they popped up that had short timelines. Of note, I recall the many sessions for clan documents, taking on average 2 hours, that were had in order to polish off a clan document or implement a new change. For a specific example of our longer sessions, the fictional elements of the clan we discussed (PeaceKeepers, Odanite Defense Forces) involved both content creation and discussion and generally required 2-3 sessions. With everything totaled, that’s 48 hours over 3 months.
For projects he oversaw for the clan, he created a number of new additions for Odan-Urr. First, he lead the creation of the Jedi Codes wiki page, which at the time was very useful in informing not only our clan but the rest of the Dark Brotherhood on the diverse views held by the Jedi of Odan-Urr. It involved reaching out to fellow Odanites to deploy and create its content, predominantly the context that preceded each individual code as well as the list of practicing player characters. Not counting the codes themselves or the practitioner names in the word count, that is 539 words of content. Second, he led the creation of the Loyalist Academy on Kiast, which is an entirely new institution of learning for our clan’s military personnel. It gave our loyalists a place to write creative stories as they flush out their relationship as a soldier for Odan-Urr. This included 1723 words of content as well as working with his fellow Odanites to ensure it was deployed. His time commitment has already been stated in the PCON paragraph above.
In addition, he provided assistance on other Clan projects he didn’t lead. This list includes no less than our clan coalitions, our house reorganization, clan event calendar, and the clan fictional proposal. For the first, he was key in helping flush out the Peacekeepers, engaging in group discussion as well as 77 words of summary content, which started out as a much longer document. His time commitment has already been stated in my PCON paragraph above. For the second, he was an active contributor on a 9 page document to reorganize the House. This included active discussion over gdoc and 367 words of original content creation that helped shape the house/clan moving forward. This involved around 3-6 hours of work. For the third, he was a much needed person to bounce ideas off of, involving around 1 hour of work in total. For the fourth, he provided a critical comprehensive review for the first working draft of our fictional planning document, which spanned 14 pages and included both House and Clan content. Though he did not create its content, his comments and suggestions were very much appreciated and were helpful in forming future clan events. This involved around 1-3 hours of work. I really appreciated all his help in these efforts.
In terms of pure activity, Len Iode has completed 28 competitions, 3 PvE matches, 3 fiction activities, 2459 words of fiction, 3 run-on posts worth 1488 words, 1 ACC match, 8 SA courses, 1 SA degree, and 11 news comments. Moreover, he hit most of the bins (9/12) for participation during the recent GJW, which was great to see. During that event, he placed 7th place in ‘The Story so Far’ (Phase 2 miscellaneous), 1st place in the Event Long Battleplan, and 5th place in the Small team co-op fiction. During his adventures since his last recognition, he has accumulated 1 Gold Nova, 1 Crescent with Amethyst star, 1 Crescent with Sapphire Star, 3 Pendats of Blood, 4 Clusters of Fire, 11 Clusters of Ice, 6 Clusters of Earth, 10 Clusters of Graphite, 1 Seals of Loyalty, and 10 Seals of Discord.
As you climb up the ranks of Equite, it's important to think bigger picture and put in your time improving the club. In summary, Len has done this well while serving Odan-Urr admirably with his contributions to projects, leadership, and his activity. I hereby recommend that Len Iode be awarded a Sapphire Blade with all the opportunities to stab things that go with it. Thank you so much for everything you have done for Odan-Urr. You’ve helped so many people and I’m proud of you. Odan-Urr, and its community, wouldn’t be the same without you. Have fun and make sure you poke lots of people with your new sword. >:)

Zujenia is an amazing Arconan, a true portrait of what one should expect from our summit. Since her promotion, she has continued to faithfully serve as our Rollmaster, helping multiple members reach the rank of JM4, as well as assisting in their understanding and retention. Without her efforts, the recent War scores would have been much different. She is one of the friendliest, most supportive, and amazing members of this club. I wasn't sure I'd get to write on this prior to retirement, so let's do this!
Since May, Zujenia has organized 17 competitions, including the running of a current Clan-wide event. Many of these competitions were focused on helping Journeyman understand our systems of submissions and to assist in their advancement, as was her duty as Rollmaster. She also participated in a whopping 82 competitions herself, including 13 of the War bins! She continues to show a massive amount of dedication to Arcona and the club.
She's also racked up 4 PvP matches, 1 PvE activity, and an ACC battle, as well as 2 Run On posts for the War, which garnered her one of her two Silver Novae.
Speaking of shinies, she picked up 2 Silver Novae in the recent War, one for the beforementioned RO, and one for an amazing Comic entry. She also took home several Crescents, including 1 Ruby, 1 Amethyst, 5 Sapphires, and 1 Emerald Star. She picked up 8 Clusters of Fire, 5 of Ice, and 27 of Graphite.
And of course, as mentioned, her six months time as our Rollmaster. She's upheld the tradition of this position in Arcona being one that runs accessible competitions, socializes heavily with the newer members, and is generally an awesome person all around.
Because of her stellar activity, her leadership, and her amazing attitude, I am proud to put Zujenia in for a Sapphire Blade!

Zujenia, the Battle Goat, is perhaps one of the best known and most beloved members of Arcona. She is consistently pleasant and consistently helpful to both new and more experienced members alike. I know that my day is brightened by interacting with her on TG.
I’ll leave the discussion of the numbers to Kord, and instead focus on her leadership. I had the good fortune to serve as Zujenia’s Aedile, where I got to see the Battle Goat in action. While I am not always the easiest person to get along with, she handled my wacky ideas with aplomb and cheerfulness, and never failed to provide a guiding hand for the House. She took these positive qualities into the Rollmaster position, where she successfully wrangled the newbies. She spearheaded the Master/Apprentice program, taking great pains to make sure that each Apprentice was appropriately paired with a suitable Master.
Even now, as she is preparing to take a break from leadership, she is refusing to rest on her laurels. Instead, she is working with Kordath to present an Arconan wedding event. It is clear that she continues to lead by example.
It is for all of these reasons that I am proud to lend my voice in support for Zuji to be awarded the SB. Congratulations, Best sisprentice!
Lucine Vasano, 2019-10-09 00:41:20 UTC
Zujenia has been a treasure of a member in Arcona. She has been an active participant in all that Arcona has had to offer, and has been a remarkable leader as Rollmaster. Whether it is Organizing competitions to promote activity, or participating and setting the example to the rest of the Clan, we can always count on Zujenia to show the best our Clan has to offer.
In the War, Zujenia came out and showed her stuff. She earned 13 seals of Discord for her efforts and snagged 2 silver novae in the process. As Rollmaster, she was directly helpful in assisting 3 members to the rank of Knight! She has set a strong example for what a Rollmaster in Arcona should be, and whoever follows her will most definitely have some large shoes to fill.
I am happy and proud to help award Zujenia a Sapphire Blade! Congratulations Zuji. You deserve it!

Since her transfer to Taldryan in June 2019, Cymbre Kall has been an outstanding member, not only did she join the Taldryan Summit, first as Aedile and later as Quaestor of Ektrosis, she also emphasized what I am looking for as Consul of the Clan: Summiters that lead by example, no she put even more effort into the growth of the Clan by helping to recruit old friends back into the DB.
As for the regular activities, Cym participated in 82 Competitions (78 since her return), collecting one Gold Novae, 1 Bronze Novae along seventeen Seals of Discord from the recent Great Jedi War. Furthermore she scored a total of sixteen Crescents of varying degrees (1 Diamond, 6 Ruby, 3 Amethyst, 5 Sapphire, and 1 Topaz), two Clusters of Fire, fourteen Clusters of Ice and whooping 35 Clusters of Graphite, 2 Dark Side Scrolls and one Scroll of Foundation for finding a significant error in the Grandmaster's Royal Guard Exam.

For the better part of my first year as Herald, Maximus Alvinius (aka Landon) was a major contributor to the Office and a critical part of our quarterly release schedule. Working often times under extremely tight deadlines, Landon delivered a quality of work that was often unparalleled over the history of the office. His first major release was for the Quarter 2 of 2018, corresponding to the release of the film Solo: A Star Wars Story. Despite being given the assignment in mid-May with a release date target of the first week of June while having very little in the way of reference materials (given that the movie would not itself be released until a week before the release was due to go live), Landon delivered 20 robe images for the Mudtrooper armor for the Q2 release. Then, for our Quarter 3 release the theme that was chosen was The Clone Wars following the announcement of the upcoming new season of the revived show. Landon delivered 50 individual robe images across three unique item variants, all of Clone trooper armor. Suffice it to say without those items and Landon's skill in creating them, the Clone Wars release would likely not have happened. In addition to the items he created for the two quarterly releases he contributed to, he also worked closely with members on custom skin requests and delivered three custom weapons and a custom set of robes as well. Landon is responsible for some of the finest work I've had the pleasure of delivering to the Brotherhood under my tenure, and has more than earned this recognition through his efforts. Well done!

It is my pleasure to acknowledge the energy and hard work put forth by Maximus Alvinius since his last recognition. Whether it be competitions or the occasional community chatter, he continues to contribute to Odan-Urr despite his busy schedule. He has participated in 20 competitions, organized 7 competitions, 12 PvP matches, 1 PvE matches, 1 Fiction Activity worth 558 words, 1 SA course passed, 1 news post, and 6 news comments. During that time, he obtained 1 Bronze Nova, 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star, 1 Pendant of Blood, 49 Clusters of Fire, 1 Cluster of Ice, 16 Clusters of Graphite, 9 Seals of Fury and 3 Seals of Discord. Of note, his Phase I efforts during this recent GJW earned him two placements: 3rd place in the Hearthstone PvP Ladder and 9th in the Phase I Graphics calling card.
In addition, Maximus served two months as Quaestor, successfully continuing to lead Satele Shan. A few things of note. First, he ran a successful house event called Shadow of the Kesaret, a 9 competition event covering trivia, PvP, comics, run-on, fiction, PvE, Mobile/Flash gaming, and graphics. In addition, he got a good number of his House to participate. Second, he also created a competition to award the most active Shanite, which got high participation. Third, he continued to update House wiki pages, his contributions totaling 4 minor updates for awards and member updates. This was the tail end of his term of Quaestor but he remained strong till the end of his term. I’m incredibly proud of his contributions to his House while he was a Quaestor.
Thank you so much for the energy you put in your Clan, whether it be a leader or a regular member. On behalf of each and every Odanite, I recommend that Maximus receive a Sapphire Blade as a token of our appreciation. Congratulations and well done! :D

Maximus Alvinis, when I hear that name I think of strong leadership and high activity. I had the pleasure of being Maximus' Aedile during his term as Quaestor and while we did not always see eye to eye on everything he worked hard to make sure that the members had the best experience possible and were active. The Shadow of the Kesaret event was a great example of his leadership commanding a house and generating that activity that kept giving more momentum. He gave everyone including himself a task and frequently checked in on progress during the design and implementation of the event and the event was a hit. It was one of the most successful House events I can recall. It is my pleasure to recommend Maximus Alvinis for a Sapphire Blade. Congratulations my friend well earned!
