22 Oct, 2021 Kai Movar was awarded 1 Sapphire Blade Event ID 213349 Target Warlord Kai Movar Award Sapphire Blade Quantity 1 Requested by Master Selika Roh di Plagia Primary reason It's rare for a member to make the kind of mark that warrants recognition with a Sacramental award in a short amount of time, but some people are such a dense package of both individual activity and leadership that one is left with no alternative other than to award them as such. Qormus Aquilla is the stand out on the Plagueis summit, both as a consumer and producer, to such an extent that a Sacramental award is the only reasonable recognition for what he has done. As an individual, he has submitted to a, frankly, insane 64 competitions since his last recognition at the end of July. This includes a 24 of 25 finish for the recently finished Pro Bowl where he scored three top-three competition finishes, earned 166 total points, and ninth overall out of 56 total competitors across four Clans. Overall, he has placed in 23 of the competitions he has entered, earning 3 Diamond, 1 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 7 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, and 2 Topaz Crescents. He has collected 50 Clusters of Earth for gaming, 9 Clusters of Graphite for graphics, and 15 Clusters of earth for his 5,562 words of fiction. He is without a doubt the pinnacle of personal activity. What makes the above even more impressive, however, is that he was able to dedicate that level of attention to his own personal activities while at the same time performing to a level of excellence in leadership that most others would struggle to achieve with all of their focus devoted to it. In the lull period between the Rite of Supremacy and the Pro Bowl I challenged my Quaestors to develop a competition event that they individually could run to fill the gap, and Qormus stepped up to the plate with a gusto. The Aliso Summer Festival consisted of a four week long event of three competitions per week that Qormus developed, implemented, and scored all on his own. His promotion of the event via reports, email, and generated 110 total entries across those 12 competitions and was, from where I am sitting, a perfect warm up for the Pro Bowl that was greatly responsible for Plagueis increasing its total entries by more than 100 from the RoS in the Pro Bowl. During the Pro Bowl itself Qormus worked tirelessly to push both his team and his House to participate, sending out no fewer than 14 email messages to both the House email group and his members individually to promote the event. He also coordinated with his subordinate Battleteam Leader Aleister when messaging the members within Opress to ensure they weren't getting over messaged as well, with Aleister handling direct reach outs to those members and Qormus on email engagement. He has even, within the day of having them assigned, completed all of the recommendations for member awards within his unit as a result of the Pro Bowl. His work continues to be nothing short of outstanding. One of the greatest honors a Clan summit member can have is to bestow a Sacramental award upon one of their members. The first of those awards is an even bigger milestone, and one I am thrilled to be able to award. Thank you, Qormus, for all that you have done since joining the staff. As Consul, she saw her Clan through the latest Rite of Supremacy vendetta while participating herself and earning 11 seals. She helped to coordinate the CNS and TAL joint competition, and has run multiple phases of a Clan wide event Aggressive Expansion, organizing a total of 11 competitions along with fictional development. For this work along with the work highlighted by Ciara in the Shadow Academy, she has earned this Sapphire Blade. Congratulations Erinyes. As my Praetor for over a year now, Erinyes has been my sounding board and idea generator on countless projects, and is a huge support to me and our other staff in that capacity. She was a key planner in the SARLACC competition hosted by the Shadow Academy. In addition to writing the description for both phase venues, she judged multiple battles for the competition - and even took the time to train me as a judge prior to the event so I could assist. Erinyes's greatest contribution to the Shadow Academy is a work in progress, but it's one she's already committed a great deal to. She's taken on the charge of entirely re-vamping our Writing Department from the ground up – proposing the courses and working with me to outline the ultimate path students will take to attain the coveted Writing Sage once more. While we're not there yet, she has worked both to frame that path and to write the first two courses - Story Structure I and Descriptive Writing. She authored both the notes and the exams for these courses, and also took on on the role of Docent for Descriptive Writing. In addition, she's worked with the Writing Department professor on shaping a future revision to another course and has nearly completed a draft of the third course in this series. I believe students will be very pleased with the end result of this effort, but I'd like to recognize Erinyes now for the work she's already put in. He earned himself 24 seals from his own participation in the Rite of Supremacy while maintaining strong communication with the Clan and continuing to build on the community and traditions of Plagueis. In addition to his contributions as a leader in the Clans, he has stepped up to help Anubis as Regent in his own efforts to see new content released that will benefit everyone. Lord Evio Nezsa, 2021-08-13 21:50:52 UTC Additional reasons Since becoming my Special Magistrate on April 22nd, 2021 during my first round of staff picks as Regent, Slagar has been an active member of the Regent Staff in both name and activity. Slagar has been an active fixture in our staff channel, contributing to discussions and conversations and offering his opinion on each subject, while contributing many ideas of his own to me. One of these ideas we recently implemented, to built on the concept of a proposal we recently received, leading to us adding Flights and Ground Transports as slottable items for Clans on their capital ships and ground forces companies without sacrificing anything. Slagar implemented slotting on a total of 6 ground force company-sized clan items and 16 capital ship-sized items for this project, which requires you to edit every item manually. On the front of the recently brought-up Clan Assets project in my last report, Slagar has already been incredibly hard at work, starting work on a total of 69 new item prototypes for the Clans. For the nearly-completed Weapon Upgrades project, Slagar has contributed/written a total of 24 weapon upgrades himself. Furthermore, he's refreshed a whopping 95 of possessions' item images to be of a higher quality than the formerly current ones, improving these of his own volition for member benefit (and it did not go unnoticed by some members, either, who said they really appreciated the new images they caught!) Based on the above, in my opinion Slagar is much deserving of this award and I am proud to be appending this recommendation for it. Keep up the good work. I appreciate it. During this time frame she ran a Plagueis wide event and story development event called The Scourge, then later helping to plan and organize a multi-Clan event with Odan-Urr called The Myrkr Crusade. As part of the Dark Council, she has contributed at some level to nearly all the projects we have going on while running several successful events in the latest Rite of Supremacy vendetta and a popular trivia format to celebrate Star Wars. Within the Shadow Academy, she maintains one the largest staffs and has run multiple competitions to help drive activity. As well as overseeing the creation and successful launch of several new courses for members to enjoy. He has been serving the office of the FIST as a Magistrate for almost a year since his last recognition, and having watched the competitions he has been putting it out he has been giving us some fun options for play, to the tune of 15 comps organized. Before this, he had helped to enrich Clan Naga Sadow during a term as Battle Team Leader in House Marka Ragnos for 2 months as well, which I think further illustrates that "desire to give back" that Kojiro often shows. More than just the producer, Kojiro has also stepped forward in instances like this latest Vendetta. Since almost a year ago, Koji has participated in some 53 competitions, with 16 of those representing our Clan in this last Vendetta (which also brought him home some Seals of Emnity!) and a pretty spattering of Crescents. How pretty is this spattering? Well, he has placed in almost a third of his total competitions. He has brought home a Crescent with a Diamond Star, 3 Crescents with a Ruby Star, 5 Crescents with an Amethyst Star, 2 Crescents with an Emerald Star and 3 Crescents with a Topaz Star. Beyond just Crescents, Kojiro has brought home other shinies for his gaming. He has brought home a couple of Pendants of Blood for feats of gaming, 6 Clusters of Fire for 3 PVP matches and 12 Clusters of Earth for 5 PVE activities. He also has worked in the real of fiction, earning 7 Clusters of Ice. His writing pursuits have been split between 4 fiction activities to the tune of 2471 words. He also showed off his artistic skills in competitions to bring home 21 Clusters of Graphite! He has also tackled 1 course in the Shadow Academy and received a Seal of Loyalty this last May the Fourth. Kojiro has shown he is, if nothing else, eclectic in his nature. For his contributions to helping to enrich gaming for the Brotherhood, for his representing our Clan in this last Vendetta and for his continued support of the club as a whole, we wish to present Kojiro with this Sapphire Blade. It is not an exaggeration to say that his efforts have been herculean during his tenure. He has approved a whopping 642 PvE/O submissions and 189 PvP activities. Additionally, he has run a competition for the Grand Master's Royal Guard series each month he has been on staff. Not only can I always rely on Koji to have his competitions submitted ahead of schedule but he also takes care to consider what member's are playing and what game we have or have not supported in recent monthly competitions. This added level of care is essential to ensuring we give equitable support to all of our platforms. He has been the most prolific Magistrate I have had on my staff by any measure. Koji has also shown tremendous growth in his leadership skills while on staff. I've had the pleasure of working with him one on one coaching and he has shown a passion for learning. This growth has distinguished him as someone who not only is committed to doing a fantastic job in his role but also to continued development with the eye on future service to the club. That clued me in as well that, as commonly happens when members go rogue, Warp’s accomplishments had been missed for recognition. Prior to Warp’s move to the Rogues, he was a steady leader in the club and the clan, serving as a Magistrate to the Fist for a term, thereby helping approve over 75 gaming submissions as well as running monthly competitions as part of the M:Fist mandate. Further to that, he held a position as Quaestor of House Wren for over a year since his last recognition for that. In that time, he co-organized Vizsla’s third Great Hunt competition which drew in 18 unique competitors from the clan. He produced 4 reports in that time frame as well. As was expected of Vizsla leaders, he lead from the front and Beyond his formal leadership roles, Warp has earned regular praise for his willingness to help anyone and everyone participate in gaming. This is perfectly illustrated from numbers for 2020, showing that he led the club in PvE/PvO events submitted with the second-most unique participants. That alone shows that he is willing to play with a wide swath of other players and that he volunteers to step up to submit the score screens. Looking to the hard activity numbers, let’s be honest - there’s basically no one who can compete with this guy. 80 competitions participated, placing in 44 of those. Yup, better than a 50% placement rate. 4 of those were Gold Novae along with a Bronze Nova! That also includes a 4th place overall in GJW XIV with 100% event completion. As already alluded to, he participated in almost 270 gaming activities, earning 2769 Clusters of Earth, 782 Clusters of Fire, and 12 Pendants of Blood! Not just a man of action, he also completed 8 fiction activities and another 4 run-on posts for nearly 5,500 words of fiction and 15 Clusters of Ice. Add in as well another 27 Clusters of Graphite and you have a well-rounded participant. He also flexed his academic muscles, completing 11 courses too. Never one to rest on his laurels, however, he has maintained a level of uninterrupted activity going back for years; he has also repeatedly answered the call to serve the Brotherhood in various capacities. On those two fronts, he has accrued a laundry list of achievements since his last recognition for general activity (note that he has an AK for service to the Star Chamber and an SC specific activity for the Regent; that activity is not included). He has participated in 75 total competitions, earning 38 Seals, 4 Crescents, and a Silver Nova; he has participated in 3 ACC battles, 10 run-on posts (for over 5,000 words) and 10 fiction activities (for almost 5,000 words); he has served as an Aedile for 3 months, a Quaestor for 7 months, a Proconsul for 7 months, and a Magistrate to two different Dark Councillors - to the Regent and to the Headmaster - for 8 months a piece. Included in his service to the Headmaster was an audit of two courses and assisting in the movement of the Alchemy course from its old PDF version into a much more user-friendly version on the Wiki; as a former Headmaster, I can attest to how difficult yet important that last item truly is.
