Arden has been an ACC Judge, Magistrate to the Voice and an active contributor in his Clan for the past sixteen months, and taken as a whole of his accomplishments has earned the rank of Equite 4 and Sith Warlord. As Voice, I can speak personally of the quantity and scope of his impacts across the Brotherhood during his time on my staff, while I will invite his Clan summit and the Combat Master to chime in with just how much he's done.
As the only active Magistrate when I took on the position of Voice, Arden was quick to catch me up on the processes and help manage the day to day workflow of the office. His already solid grasp on the day to day made the transition easier as we dug into a set of projects that needed immediate attention. The first major of these was the Fiction Society, where he provided valuable input on balancing the entire system around amounts of points given for different activities so the society ranks appropriately reflected accomplishments. He reviewed the Shadow Academy Society course I wrote as well as the Wiki documentation for clarity of understanding and proofing, and wrote a short set of fictions to accompany the official launch of the society that helped members get a real grasp on what it meant fictionally for their characters to interact and engage with this new force of the Grand Master's making.
In smaller scope and day to day as part of the Voice staff Arden approved nearly 200 Character Sheets with varying levels of feedback in additional to appropriate remands to improve the quality of characters across the Brotherhood, organized 5 different DJB wide competitions along with the rest of the staff to provide entertaining opportunities for members, helped take point on revising the CS Approval Guidelines in a post CS2.0 environment to better align with the policies that the staff worked under as they processed character sheets, took point on the Voice competitoin approval guidelines as well to see them revised for extra requirements surrounding Brotherhood wide competitions and clarity, as well as helping to process many competitions that come throught he Voice staff requesting Clusters of Ice and processing those medals. As well as participation in countless telegram discussions that resulted in policy or functional decisions around adding new species, how poisons will function, and many other day to day to help members make decisoins for their characters on the realism front regarding either the ACC, run-ons or their personal fictions.
He has been a great asset to the Voice staff this past year, and the Brotherhood, and will surely continue to be so in whatever capacity he finds himself in. Congratulations on your promotion Arden, you have earned it, and looking forward to seeing you around the DJB in the future and hopefully working together again.
In darkness,
Evant Taelyan, Voice of the Brotherhood

As an ACC Judge, Arden was always the first person to step up and offer to take on a match that showed up in the queue. His tenacity and energy helped keep a healthy but competitive air to the ACC staff. Over the course of his time as an ACC Judge, Arden graded 30 ACC Matches (25% of all matches over that time period) and Qualified 13 members for the ACC. He helped pull off a monumental feat in ACC Rivalries where we saw over 50 matches graded. With the average match taking 45-60 minutes to grade by contemporary standards, this totals out to a minimum range of 22.5 Hours of grading with the intent to provide strong feedback for the members in question.
Aside from grading matches, Arden was a big part of any discussion involving the mechanics, policies, or grading rubric for the ACC.
For his dedication to his job from beginning to end, I'm honored to be adding my voice to this recommendation. Congratulations, Arden.

Arden is one of the constants in Plagueis, and has been so since he arrived on the eve of Horizons. Over the last 16 months, he’s always been there in some capacity to help the Clan grow and mature into the well oiled machine it has become today. Whether it is through mentoring our newer members (such as his apprentice Abadeer Taasi) or stepping back into leadership directly to train our new crop of leaders (in the person of his Aedile Malice), he’s always there. When it comes to feud or vendetta activity, he can always be counted on for entries or to lead teams for the various team entry events (his specialty is Battleplan), and he’s always there in our clan Telegram channel to help build the feeling of community our Clan strives for. Additionally, I know everything he does is in order to make the Brotherhood as a whole a better place for everyone and not motivated out of a sense of personal advancement, and that, no matter how aggravating that passion can at times be can be for some, it comes from a positive place. Arden is the prime example of an active and dedicated member, always looking to be a producer first and a consumer second, that we set up as the example of what the highest ranks of the Equites are meant to be. Congratulations, Arden, and here’s to the next one!
Proconsul, Clan Plagueis
Master Selika Roh di Plagia, 2016-07-03 16:01:24 UTC
Arden Karn is someone who I have had the privilege of working with during most of my time in the Brotherhood. Arden joined only a year after I did, and since then our "careers" in the Brotherhood have mirrored one another until recently. We both obtained similar positions, were promoted around the same time; in short, I know exactly how hard Arden works to better both his, and others', experience in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. That is why I'm very happy to submit this recommendation for him to be promoted to the rank of Equite 4.
In the past 16 months Arden has been busy with DB life: splitting his time between the ACC, Voice office, and Clan Plagueis. But I'm here to talk about his activity in Clan Plagueis which has, to say the least, been phenomenal. Since his last promotion, Arden has participated in 79 competitions while racking up 26 crescents. More recently he was very active in the Clan Plagueis 2016 Pro Bowl event going 25 out of 30 competitions across 3 weeks and placing in 7 of those events. Aside from that, Arden has also ran 5 various competitions and co-organized 1. Aside from his activity in the competition arena, Arden has also been active in writing and gaming for Clan Plagueis. Since his last promotion Arden has racked up 3 Pendants of Blood, 70 Clusters of Fire, and 32 Clusters of Earth. In the writing corner he has tallied up an impressive 29 Clusters of Ice and just shy of 13,000 words of fiction.
Ardens activity has also been displayed over the past 16 months with an impressive cabinet of awards: 3 Dark Crosses (one for work on possessions, one for fictional development of the Brotherhood with the Grand Master, and one for his work reviewing and developing the new Covenant), 1 Anteian Cross (for his work in the Hand to Hand combat revamp), and 3 Steel Crosses (one for the Character Sheet 2.0 development, one for his activity during the Plagueis-Tarentum Forged Alliances event, and one for his activity spanning the Odan Urr-Plagueis Between Light and Dark feud and the 2016 Plagueis Pro Bowl). On top of that he has also gathered 6 Scrolls of Foundation, and has mentored an apprentice, Abadeer Taasii, to the rank of knight earning him a Scroll of the Master.
On top of his numbers, Arden has always been knee-deep into the workings and going-ons of Clan Plagueis. Working on little projects here and there, but also as a leader. More recently this has translated into his stepping back into proper leadership as the Quaestor of House Ajunta Pall in Clan Plagueis. For a long time Arden sacrificed and stepped aside to allow for the development and transition of newer, "younger" members into leadership as well as focus on his duties in the VOICE office more closely. Not only did he step aside to allow for that, but also provided the leadership and guidance for these newer members; as indicated by his apprentice Abadeer Taasii also now being on the Plagueis Summit. This type of sacrifice and leadership is something that Clan Plagueis has thrived on for several years now: leaders and community members who provide for the member base without demanding a leadership position of their own. Arden exemplifies this and has since day one. "It takes a village to raise a child" is a common theme around Plagueis and Arden has not only been an architect of this motto but also has "walked the walk" these past 16 months. More recently he's also been engaging with newer leaders in developing project work; with the help of Arden, Laren Uscot has been wrapping up the last stages of a coordinated wiki project to update the Plagueis history and related pages. Arden was there to help pull together information from the past 3 or so years, proofread, clarify, and make revisions as needed.
All in all I'm very happy and proud of Arden to be able to earn this promotion to Equite 4. Through his activity, leadership, and guidance, Clan Plagueis is in a much better place today than it would be without him. Congratulations, Arden!

Since his battlefield promotion during the Eleventh Great Jedi War, Misium has continued to make his name as a valued member of Clan Plagueis. In the area of competitive activity, he has entered 83 individual competitions and earned 31 crescents: 6 Ruby, 10 Amethyst, 12 Sapphire, and 3 Emerald. He has also earned 44 Clusters of Fire and 251 Clusters of Earth from his gaming activities. As a writer he accumulated 21 Clusters of Ice across 10 fiction activities and 3 Run On posts (amassing a total of 10,635 words written). In addition, he was awarded 11 Seals of Retribution.
More important, however, than just the number of competitions that Misium has participated in is where that participation came. Not one to simply focus on randomly held competitions, Misium is always there to answer his Clan’s call during vendetta or feud events. During the Between Light & Dark vendetta against Odan-Urr he entered 6 of eleven events while scoring point earning placements in 5 of those competitions. In our just-completed Plaguies Pro Bowl feud Misium once again put his foot on the accelerator, submitting to 25 competitions and placing in a staggering 12 of them (4 first place, 3 second place, and 5 third place finishes) to tie for first place in number of placements overall. His competitive drive when the stakes are highest and the lights shine brightest reflect the dedication he brings to the Ascendant Clan.
On top of that, Misium finished his tenure as a Battleteam Leader in Plagueis, spending his last 45 days of his tenure following his last promotion. His excellence also saw him recognized with a Steel Cross (general activity and leadership), a Anteian Cross (activity during the Dark and Light vendetta against Odan-Urr), and 2 Seals of Loyalty (singled out for the first as one of Plagueis’s two submissions for Exodus Day 2015) for his outstanding contributions and service to his Clan. He is active every day on Telegram, messaging with his clanmates to help build Plagueis into the kind of welcoming community that we all strive to provide for our members.
Misium is one of our greatest assets in Clan Plagueis, and a great guy to be around. It gives me great pleasure to recommend him for promotion to the rank of Battlemaster and help him along the path up the Equite ladder!

What can I say about Misium when his track record bespeaks of pure awesomeness? He clearly has taken to heart the words of Montresor: "Do work." Not only does he adhere to quantity of activity, but as his awards show he also strives to complete each task with his best quality. An excellent role-model for any journeymen who wish to see what activity is about and well-deserving of an award. Congrats, Misium!

Misium is a great member and active member. The Pro Bowl was a prime example of his tremendous dedication to activity. Apart from the countable numbers, Misium is a constant in the Telegram chat, encouraging and engaging with anyone and everyone. Misium is a great member who has worked hard for everything he's got, and has worked hard for this promotion as well. I'm happy to add my personal recommendation to his promotion. Good job Misium, and keep working hard!

It seemed that every email I received showed that Misium had placed in whatever competition it was. He did an excellent job, and we were sure glad to have him! He’s also participated in 83 competitions since his last promotion, and his fiction word count is over 9,000! Way to go, Misium!

I had the honour and privilege of serving with Misium on Team Teylas in the recent Pro Bowl. Though we both constantly and consistently lurk our clan Telegram channel at the same time, I had never worked with him before in a direct manner. Thankfully, I had the pleasure to compete alongside a highly active, amazingly motivated and engaged member of this amazing Clan. And compete he did, both in terms of netting placement points and helping to motivate other members to participate as much as possible as well. This is the example of a fantastic Equite: leading from the front, and letting everyone else know that they can do it, too.
Congratulations on your promotion, Misium. You earned it.

Not much can be said about Misium, but the things that can be said speak in volumes. An achiever, a helper, a mentor. Misium is all this and more. Always doing his best to do as much as he can for the club, he excels in whatever he does. Competition placements are just one of his many talents, as he keeps on raking in the crescents in most competitions he enters. His performance in the recent pro bowl was also unbelievable. If anyone deserves this, it is he. Well done, Misium. keep up the fantastic work and keep being awesome. But watch that next step, it's a biggie!

One of the single best parts of serving as Clan Rollmaster is the ability to see everything that a member does. Whether it is simply participation in an event, or turning out a big win, when the emails roll in, it brings about a sense of pride in the Clan and in its members.
Misium's name shows up in literally every event-based email I get. Misium is one of the most active, driven, and pleasant members in Clan Plagueis, as proven by all of the statistics listed above.
Misium was one of the first to welcome me to Clan Plagueis, and it is now my pleasure to be able to raise my voice with the chorus of the other leaders in recommending him for elevation to the next grade in the Equite ladder.
Congratulations, Misium!

Bal Demona is one of the long tenured members of the Dark Brotherhood, offering our organization what he can around the restraints of his schedule and real life’s complications. Often these members, not ones that create massive amounts of activity in short bursts, get overlooked when it comes time to evaluate for advancement. Bal is no different, but that oversight doesn’t make his contributions any less worthy of recognition.
Since his last promotion in July of 2009, he’s banked up activity with the mindset that “slow and steady” wins the race, and it’s my pleasure to push him across the finish line. During our recently completed Plagueis Pro Bowl clan feud, he submitted to 6 of the available events, placing second in Week 1 Racing. In total since his last promotion, he has participated in 51 competitions and has placed in 23 of them (nearly 50%). For his efforts, he has earned 1 Amethyst Crescent, 2 Sapphire Crescents, 4 Emerald Crescents, 7 Topaz Crescents, 7 Quartz Crescents, and 2 Legions of the Scholar. Additionally, he earned 6 Seals of Bone for his activity during the Rite of Supremacy: Spoils of War and 5 Seals of Revelation for activity during the Eleventh Great Jedi War. He has also earned 2 Pendants of Blood for his TOR activity.
He served as an Aedile of House Marka Ragnos for 3.5 months while filing 4 timely monthly reports, being recognized with an Anteian Cross for his service there along with his vendetta activity. He also has earned a pair of Dark Crosses for his general activity since 2009.
It gives me great pleasure to put Bal Demona forward for advancement into the ranks of the Equites and specifically the rank of Warrior. It is well deserved, and here’s to the next one!

Since her promotion to Hunter in July of 2015, Vanessa has earned two merit awards (Anteian Cross and Dark Cross), a handful of competition crescents (two Amethyst, two Sapphire, one Emerald, and one Topaz), Earned 25 Clusters of Fire and 10 Clusters of Earth, Co-organized a competition, and participated in 34.

The time has come to recognize one of Scholae Palatinae’s most relentless and persistent members. As Blade Ta’var continues to grow as a member and leader, she has reached the point where she is ready to advance on to the Equite ranks.
Blade joined us earlier in the year, and quickly established herself as a dedicated and highly skilled member. In the four months since she was promoted to Knight, she has served faithfully as the Aedile for House Imperium, been an active participant in helping the members of her house grow and learn, and did all of this while leading from the front lines. She has participated in some 28 total competitions. This has earned her 5 Diamond, 2 Ruby, 4 Amethyst, and 2 Emerald Stars. These competitions include the GM PVP Invitational Tournament, where she finished in a tied fourth place with Delak after crushing her opponents in JA. It includes the recently Journeyman ACC Tournament where she finished first. Blade has earned 7 Pendants of Blood, 429 Clusters of Fire, and 20 Clusters of Ice.
But she doesn’t just participate at a high level of skill and wide set of events. She helps her fellow members. She has taken to running practice JA lessons outside of any competitions or cluster gain to help several members get better at the game. She has an insightful look at what helps members, as demonstrated by her constant follow up with her members of Imperium. If there is something to be cheered on, advice given, support needed, Blade is there.
All in all, Blade is the definition of what we love to see in a member. Driven, dedicated, and devoted to the club. Whether it be as a member or as a leader Blade kicks some major ass. I hereby recommend she be promoted to the rank of Warrior. Congratulations Blade, Drinks are on you!

You will be hard pressed to find a member more active, involved or devoted than Blade Ta’var. It seems like every other day this one breaks through one threshold or another. One day, it's a promotion in Inquisitorius ranks. The next she has gained Dark Maven in leadership. Yet, I’m never surprised. Truth is, that is simply the kind of person that she is, someone who excels, and her most recent victory in the ACC Journeyman Tournament illustrates this perfectly. It mattered very little that she had not fought a single match beforehand. When Blade Ta’var sets her mind to something, you know that spectacular results ensue.
Time and again this member shines, and time and again she proves that she belongs in the Equite ranks.
Rise, Warrior and raise your lightsaber. Great things await.

Blade Ta’var. From the moment I had first heard of her coming to Scholae Palatinae, I was already under the impression that she would be a force to be reckoned with…and might have possible schemes to take over leadership one day. It didn’t take long for me to welcome her as another great addition to the Clan. After some time had passed, rumors of her scheming were proved true as she applied for and was appointed to her current position as Aedile of Imperium. Whether it was as a normal member, of as part of Scholae’s summit, she has proven herself to be friendly, a hard worker, and dedicated to helping others in whatever way she can. These are great qualities to have, and even more so for someone in a leadership position.
The most recent example of this has been in the form of the creation of JA training sessions. She even managed to rope me into participating in some lessons; this is no easy feat, as I’m often loath to attempt gaming ever since my promotion to Knight. But even so, she convinced me to give it a try again. I still don’t feel like I’m any good and haven’t noticed any improvement, but she says I have and that’s enough for me. To put it simply, Blade is a JA force of nature – best to either get out of the way, or offer as little resistance as possible.
I won’t list all of her impressive accomplishments with medals, SA courses, or anything like that; others will have that covered, I’m sure. From what I’ve seen Blade do in working with others, as well as when she’s taken the time to work with me, she is more than ready to take the next step up in the Brotherhood ranks to join the Equites. She’s not afraid of trying out new things, can get along with just about anyone, and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and help with things that some members may find a bit intimidating or hard to do (in my case, character development) – she’s eager to help out whenever she can, and takes the time to verbalize her willingness. It has been a great experience to see a new member of the Clan turn into exactly what we all hope each new member of the Brotherhood will become one day. I’m sure that, given enough time, there’s no limit to where Blade can go from here. However, it is my hope that she stays in Scholae, where she has been welcomed with open arms as a member of our crazy, eclectic family for quite some time now. Congratulations, Blade, and welcome to the Equites! You’ve worked hard and certainly deserve this. Shots of Rancor Tequila are on you!
Reiden Karr
Advisor Reiden Palpatine Karr, 2016-06-20 23:19:37 UTC
When i advertised for an Aedile back in February, I wanted someone who could motivate the masses, be a mentor to the members and still provide a shining example of top-quality submissions to activity. I chose Blade because she brought up solid ideas to the table on her application, and best of all she followed them through. For the next four months of serving with me in this leadership job, Blade hit the ground running and stuck her fingers into every problem with had with due diligence. She approached the members and discussed their problems with them, she worked her soul off on the fictional background of this house, she provided weekly content of competitions, gaming and other activities for members to enjoy. She even coerced members with little motivation to take part, improving themselves and enjoying it in the process. In short, as a leader, Blade produce and improved the results from House Imperium. It is her natural talent, and one we sourly needed.
Blade's primary skills have always been her gaming, especially in the realms of Jedi Academy. She approached me with this idea of creating a Clan or Class-system, in order to teach the members of the clan how to duel in JA properly. This meant teaching members the ideal dueling movements, strokes, jumps, timing mechanisms, perception to weak spots, handy control features and the varied lightsaber styles. This is a tough grind, even for me it is a a soul-crushing task, but with her persona and idea of making titles awarded, organising fun games in JA, and sharing screenshots of her activities in the game, it has attracted the right crowd of students and teachers to her expending classes. Blade is a teacher through many skills, even transferable from gaming itself. As she continues to teach members into believing in themselves. Naturally Blade is also a student in many areas.
With her help, I was able to organise and fairly judge two competitions and give the correct members crescents. In this instance, when I was poorly, she took the initiative and decided to judge our competitions to the members who deservedly won, and I firmly believe her judgement is correct.
Conclusively, Blade is a genuine powerhouse of talent, activity and leadership desperately needed for our summit. As we continue to strengthen our skills and develop more, I am sure Blade will reside for longer and become a very qualified Clan leader someday, despite innately being one presently. She is more than deserving of this promotion, and I for one am truly proud to see my student rise to the Equite ranks.
Congratulations Blade!! The Rancor Tequila is on you!!
Quaestor of House Imperium

Blade Ta'var has demonstrated that she belongs in the ranks of the Equites. Her consistent drive as a competitor encourages those around her to strive for more, and sets the bar for what member activity should look like. She has already accomplished more in a short time and with daily consistence than higher ranking members in the organization.
Beyond her leadership in Clan Scholae Palatinae as an Aedile, and her general activity as a member, she recently showed her prowess as she won the Jedi Knight bracket, and was a finalist in the Grand Master's Gaming Tourney. Blade did not stop there, and was one of the first people to sign up for the Journeyman Tourney. Her enthusiasm and eagerness to try out a new platform was on display as she wowed the judges right out of the gate with her first match. It's rare in the DB for a member to access at two separate platforms, but Blade was able to weave her way to victory in the Tournament, taking home the honor of Journeyman Champion of the ACC.
Blade engaged in 4 full fights (2 posts each fight) in the Journeyman Tourney. She never advanced by timeout and only did so by the skill of her writing. She finished with 8 posts @ 7,162 words total of competitive fiction.
If this were a War, we'd be talking about Battlefield Promotions for Blade's success. Since it's not, we instead talk about a promotion for one of the most active members in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood across multiple platforms. She games, she writes, she leads and she communicates with her clanmates and others. She challenges and drives members from other units to compete as well.
Congratulations, Blade. It's really been amazing watching you grow so quickly as a member over the past few months of knowing you. Keep up the great work.

Blade has always been a big help to me and others. She strives for the best in herself and in her people. I have the utmost respect for Blade and the work she has done for Imperium and for the standout she has become for CSP. She makes us a force to be reckoned with and it shows each and everyday. Not once have I ever had and issue with getting in touch with her for any circumstances. Very well deserved.

Blade Ta'var is more than worthy of a promotion to the equite ranks. It is very rare to see a member combine such a high level of activity with an incredible amount of talent and community contribution. Everything Blade does is always of the very highest quality. Her recent victory in the ACC Journeyman tournament is proof she has surpassed all others of her rank, with posts that were invariably of excellent quality. In gaming, Blade was the only Journeyman to reach the top four of the Grand Master's Gaming Tournament competition, and is almost invincible when it comes to Jedi Academy. Blade has also taken considerable time to pass her skills to her clanmates, in addition to performing a wonderful job in her duties as Aedile.
There is not a single position in this club that I would consider beyond Blade. She has the writing skills of a Voice or Combat Master, the gaming skills of a Fist and the teaching skills of a Head Master. For now, congratulations on joining the equite ranks!
