Shadow Nighthunter has been a consistent source of activity within Scholae Palatinae for quite some time, and has been at the rank of Sith Warrior for one year and three months. The numbers alone tell a story of a member who has maintained a consistent and high grind of activity over a long period of time, since her last promotion, she has organised 11 competitions, and participated in 59. This competition participation has earned Shadow 20 crescents ranging from Ruby to Quartz.

Shadow's 11 competitions organised highlight her contribution to clan life, able to bring others into the fold while maintaining a high level of activity herself. Furthermore, Shadow was the recruiter and master of Alara Deathbane. Alara is one of the most exciting new members we've had in Scholae for a long time, and Shadow's recruitment and mentorship of her, as well as bringing back Brandon Tarsus from the rogues, serves to ensure continuing development and growth of the clan.

In more recent times, Shadow has founded her own Battle Team: Battle Team Tacitus Athanasius, which she has now led for three months. The idea behind the battleteam was Shadow's from start to finish, and has provided an excellent additional route for members to develop the fictional background of their characters.

I have to say that I've not been present since Shadow's last elevation, but the numbers speak by themselves. Eli has been more than thorough in his recommendation so I'll try to limit mine to the experience I have with her.

Shadow has been extremely diligent when it comes to the Brotherhood in the past six months. With a good presence in our clan chat and a well moderated attitude toward her colleagues, she has kept a steady rythm of activity while being the master of Alara Deathbane until she reached the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.

She has been there to take on a hard project like creating a Battleteam for our House which was sorely needed and has followed a straight pattern managing and evolving it to a full fledged unit with a good fictional background and a good participation rate of its members.

As I stated at the beginning of my recommendation, I can only speak of what I've been witness of, and if this is the kind of behavior that Shadow has been showing, considering her time spent in her actual rank, I think she has done more than enough to prove herself worthy of a promotion.

This is the kind of member that every leader of an unit wishes for themselves, and it is for me a pleasure to see that her efforts are finally recognized and our Clan Summit decides to take a step forward and create this request.

Shadow Nighthunter remains our constantly driven and dedicated assassin. Her passion shows clearly through her development of Tacitus Athanasius, the first battle team ever formed in House Excidium. It shows clearly through the members she has brought to the club, both new such as Alara, and old, such as Brandon. She has had a solid chain of activity, shown by her 74 total participations, coupled with 21 crescents earned, 215 Clusters of Fire, 17 Clusters of Ice, 10 Clusters of Earth, a Scroll of Indoctrination, a Scroll of the Master, a Legion of the Scholar, a Steel Cross, an Anteian Cross, and a Dark Cross. Shadow has also gone on to run 11 competitions herself, leading to some more great activity within the clan.

But looking beyond the numbers, Shadow simply cares. And that is something often lacking within members in this club. Shadow Nighthunter has been a stellar part of the House and continues to put forth all she can with more than ever! She has been hard at work promoting the growth and strength of the battleteam in the house as their Battleteam Leader. Nothing but good things moving forward have been going on within the team and am fully confident that Shadow is an exemplary leader to make it even better.

Shadow has led from the front constantly which has awarded not only a Dark Cross but an Anteian Cross and a Steel Cross! She has also earned 21 Crescents. She is engaged in gaming and writing aspects of the club as well which has awarded her 215 Clusters of Fire and 18 Clusters of Ice.

Frotsu has been a busy member of Taldryan. When he joined 5 months ago he dove right into gaming, and since then he has marched ever forward. In this small time since he has been around he has managed to do some incredible things. I truly am amazed by his devotion and continuous activity. In the past months, Frotsu has taken home a Crescent with Amethyst Star, and a Crescent with Emerald Star. Out of the 4 competitions that he has participated since his last promotion, he has done well and earned those shinnies. In the gaming world he has earned 4 Pendants of Blood, and an incredible 220 Clusters of Fire since his last promotion. Through this he has made his way to rank 5 in the Grand Master's Royal Guard. He has also earned 1 Cluster of Ice for his work in the "I'd like to introduce myself competition. His activity is astounding, when he joined in December, he jumped right in and has shown incredible skill. Keep up the amazing work and congratulations, Lieutenant Frotsu.

Kelly Mendes has filled many roles in Plagueis: activity dynamo, rollmaster extrodinare, and even Queen of Games. Her level of activity is absolutely second to none, and all the while she was killing it competitively she was often doing even better as a leader in Clan Plagueis.

In the realm of personal activity, she has participated in 53 competitions since her last promotion. As part of that activity, during the Between Light and Dark feud between Plagueis and Odan-Urr she entered 9 of a possible 11 events and lead her house in participation. She took first place in both feud gaming events during the feud and ended up scoring fourth overall in the feud. Her feud activity alone netted her an Anteian Cross for her efforts. All told since her last promotion, she has earned 13 crescents with her activity (3 diamond, 5 amethyst, 3 sapphire, and 1 each of emerald and topaz). Gaming wise, Kelly has always been a force to be reckoned with. Personally reporting 70 PvP matches and 6 PvE activities (and probably taking part in even more), she has earned 7 pendants of blood and 263 clusters of fire while putting lie to the idea that Pazaak is just about luck. Fiction wise she has earned 10 clusters of ice and also completed 4 ACC matches as well. As a student in the Shadow Academy, she has continued to broaden her education with 5 SA courses, 2 Novitiate Hall courses, and a Dark Maven degree.

As a leader, Kelly has been invaluable to Clan Plagueis in her service as Clan Rollmaster. Tasked with shepherding the Clan’s novitiates and journeymen, Kelly oversaw the efforts of both the Battleteam Leaders and individual Masters to create a unified program to guide members to Knighthood. Under her tenure as Rollmaster between December 2015 and March 2016 her efforts saw four members reach the rank of Knight (Kryy Vitaan, Gad Rane, Areticus Atlainatus, and Kul'tak Drol), work that helps secure the future of our Clan. She also filed her mid-month reports on time each month during her tenure, working with her Battleteam Leader subordinates to ensure they provided their monthly contributions to the reports in order to get our junior leaders into the habit of filing reports themselves to serve them after they ascended higher up the ranks of Plagueis. She also organized 10 competitions and co-organized 1 more since her last elevation. Additionally, Kelly has moved beyond simply Clan Leadership and service as well, showing the kind of Brotherhood wide drive and perspective that mark the best in our Club. She has served nearly six months as Magistrate to the Master at Arms, and I’m sure that her boss there will cover that service below. Also, in addition to her studies at the Shadow Academy, she has also served as Docent for the Leadership Competitions course and graded 47 exams in her capacity there while earning four Scrolls of Foundation for her service.

Whether it be to herself, her clan, or the Brotherhood as a whole, Kelly has provided service that marks her as standing out from the crowd. I thank her for what she has done and continues to do day in and day out to make Plagueis a better place, be it running competitions or being a constant voice in our Clan’s Telegram channel looking to build our community through positive contributions. As such, it is my great honor to come before you to request her advancement to the rank of Savant.

Having known kelly since before she entered the DJB and having brought here to the fold myself, I look back on what she has accomplished with more than a little pride. As for pazaak queen? That title belonged to me long ago, but now it truly does belong to Kelly. Her quest for pazaak glory is unrelenting and I find myself doubting my abilities if I ever have to play her now. As for her role in the club? None is more deserving of the increase in rank from Mystic to Savant than her. She did a fantastic job in the role of RM, and even outside that role her main aim was always to make sure that everyone in the club enjoyed themselves. Note that there is no 'I' in the name Kelly Mendes; she always strives to put everyone before herself as she has done so many times in the DJB.

A good friend, mentor to some, and just a fantastic team player. Kelly is more than deserving of her new title. Well done, Kelly. Keep being awesome!

Kelly has continued to serve admirably as a Master at Arms Magistrate over the last five months. She takes an active role in our discussions on merit and promotion requests, is quick to process requests herself, and eager to continue working with Howie and I on refining and bettering the Brotherhood's system of member recognition both now and in the future.
