All good things come to end. A lot of people see that as bad, but bear with me. Since joining the Brotherhood, Q had made a great impact. I am not talking only of the previously awarded things like the Celebration comps or his recognition by Pravus. Despite his real-life obligations, Qyreia has continued to be a fun and positive influence within Clan Naga Sadow.
Energetic, talkative and encouraging, he has served as a worthy successor in leading the Devil's Shroud Battleteam for another month since his last recognition. His previous efforts were recognized by a Steel Cross, but he has lost none of his zeal. His reports are both zany and fun, and his efforts to engage his memberbase have been shown in the excellent activity within the Battleteam. Though this may be in part due to all the time spent in Telegram when he is able, continuing to join in on and even sometimes even instigate Clan antics and fun. Hell, he even got a Dark Cross from the Grand Master for contributing positively to the club in communications! Qyreia continues to lead his team from the front in terms of activity, having participated in forty-one competitions. He has also created and run another five competitions himself. All these things even led to him getting a Steel Cross this February.
Though his activities may be well-varied, this Mercenary still strives for excellence, having gathered six Crescents with Diamond Star, four Crescents with a Ruby Star, nine Crescents with a Amethyst Star, two Crescent with a Sapphire Star, another two Crescents with Emerald Star, an impressive (given his RL commitments especially) three hundred and seventeen Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood, and sixty-four Clusters of Ice since his last recognition. He also helped to mentor Leeadra up to the rank of Knight, netting him a Scroll of the Master. So needless to say this man has been building his own little trove of shinies.
His efforts in fiction have been especially extraordinary: over twenty-nine thousand words of fiction in the thirteen fiction activities he has participated in. There are also the one thousand eight hundred and five words he has written in RO posts. Though writing is an obvious strength- haven won his one ACC match- he has also completed twelve PvP matches and five PvE activities. He also continues his efforts in the Shadow Academy, showing the importance of contining to learn after you hit JM4: completing six classes and netting himself another degree.
Based on these things, and given the continued fun that Qyreia continues to generate within the Clan and club, I think that all good things come to and end. The times as Journeyman were great fun for many of us, but it is time for this Mercenary to step up and join the ranks of our Equite members. Welcome to the Equites, Privateer Qyreia. I hope you keep up the good work. Enjoy the shinies of your new rank, try not to overload on the sugar, and I hope to be writing the next recommendation soon.

Although Qyreia has been leading an extremely busy real life, with being gone most of the weekday and only being able to have some downtown during the weekends, the past few weeks have seen him lead his Battle Team to the best of his capabilities.
During Operation: Firestorm he has ensured that his team participated in the event, accounting for an activity rate of over 70%. Just before the event Qyreia also ran his first BT level event, which turned out to be well received.
Despite not always being on even terms with each other, Qyreia has brought valuable input to situations and has improved the communication line within the House Summit. He is not afraid to speak up when he notices something that he thinks is unfair or incorrect, nor is he incapable of admitting fault. This is a valuable attribute to have as a leader and team player.
Whilst still a little rough on the edges (as are we all), the decision to see Qyreia step up as BTL has not been a mistake and I am glad to have seen him grow into his position the last few months.
Welcome to the Equites, I hope you enjoy being one!

Despite the fact that his military training keeps demanding more and more of him, Qyreia hasn't slowed down much at all. He keeps on being a vibrant and bubbly personality, both inside Telegram and competitions. Always available for a chat, or giving advice, Q makes one of those members that you hope to get when you're helping lead a clan. Dedicated, full of ideas, extremely active, and always willing to lend a hand.
As the person who brought him into the fold, I'm extremely proud of what he has, and is, accomplishing. As such I am honored to see him risen up to the ranks of the Equite.
Congratulations Q, bloody good work old boy!

I'll leave the metrics to the current summit of Shar Dakhan. What I will be discussing is Qyreia's character, as a person. Promotion requests like this one are easy to write, because the member makes their own case for themself, leaving little need for justification. What Qyreia does so well is embody the personality you look for in this club.
As a member, Qyreia is supremely enthusiastic and energetic, bringing everything to the table for each task. This is an infectious thing to witness and be a part of. This also translates into a perfectionist streak. Not once have I seen a fiction submission from Qyreia that is less than 4000 words. To top that number, there is rarely wasted space in those words! Everything contributes to the story Qyreia is creating. That same care of detail and skill translates into Qyreia's leadership and drive. Despite my departure from Naga Sadow, I still sit in the chat groups for Qyreia's battleteam, and the Clan itself. From there, I see Qyreia's continued performance, despite the obligations of real life drastically reducing his ability to participate.
Seeing that fire still burning, no matter the situation, makes it easy for me to append a recommendation among the others here. A truly deserved promotion.

Qyreia is our well-loved Merc.
He was our first member to join as a Mercenary, he was the first to reach the rank of Professional within the Brotherhood and I'm pleased to see him as the first (new) member to reach the rank of Privateer.
His work, his dedication, his drive and his personality have all been covered amply by others. Q-ball, as I like to call him, has been one of many new members that have flourished in Naga Sadow and have contributed greatly to the growth of the Clan over these past 12 months.
I'd hate to think what Telegram would be like without him and I hate to think what Naga Sadow would be like also. Qyreia has, despite recent heavy rl commitments, continued to fulfil his duty as BTL, running a BTL event and participating well in the recent Clan event, Operation: Firestorm.
Qyreia is one of reliable Journeymen and will now become one of our reliable Equites.
Congratulations on joining the big boys, soldier.

I am honored to raise Aryelline Sargon to the ranks of Arconan Knights today. It has been an exceptional ride the past four months since her rise to Hunter, but we have finally arrived at the destination: recognition as a full member of the Shadow Clan and Dark Brotherhood.
Aryelline has completed her time-in-rank requirement while also being an active member of our Clan chat. In addition, she has participated in over 21 competitions during her rise to Knight, has been awarded 7 major competition awards, reached Rank 4 in the Inquisitorious, has been awarded 18 Clusters of Ice, been awarded her first merit medal, and wrote over 3000 words of character fiction that has been approved by Aryelline’s Master. For completion, and exceeding, the requirements set forth by the Master-At-Arms, I am honored to put forth this Hunter to elevation to Knight. Congratulations, Aryelline!

It’s been a lot of fun working with Aryelline the past month or so, both in developing her character and helping her on her path to Knighthood. She’s driven, friendly, and enthusiastic about her relationships both in and out of character, as well as fictionally creating a character that makes sense. It’s rare to find a friend and student that uses much the same process as you, in that they grow the character organically, adding to it through collaboration rather than just tacking bits of personality on and hoping for the best. She’s been a joy to help and a wonderful new friend in Arcona.
I’m very, very proud to see Ary gaining her Knight today, and look forward to watching her continued growth and development!

Janos!
Or as I tend to call him, OtherJanos! Having spent the required 14 days in rank, he has completed the requirements we set for our Journeymen. Under the tutelage of Macron, Janos has created a character sheet to help us interpret his character, participated in at least 3 competitions during the Firestorm event in Naga Sadow, and has written more than his fair share of 750 words of character fiction.
In the Firestorm event's Run-on Janos went all out, surprising all of us in the summit with the fervor at which he threw out posts. We actually had to check twice, because this guy was putting us to shame and caused us to scramble. For his efforts during Firestorm he has been given a Dark Cross which, along with his proper posts on the forum, completes the set of requirements for his promotion.
Janos, I am proud to help you climb the ladder in the Brotherhood. I hereby recommend your immediate promotion to the rank of Acolyte.

Please allow me to commend Janos Braker, my Apprentice on his seriously gung-ho attitude. It's been really refreshing to have him as a new Apprentice and he has fit right in. He joined and literally jumped into a large complicated runon competition (The World Is Not Enough) and became one of the top contributing members during our Operation Firestorm event. This is no mean feat considering how rabid and talented we are with runons here in CNS.
Not only that, he managed to come in fourth against some heavy-hitting competitiors including a GM in the two-man runon event "For Your Eyes Only". What makes his work there so special is that he was asked to help Bentre out at the last minute as Bentre's partner for the event had RL issues. I had been asked but could not due to my RL move and work schedule, and suggested Janos might be able to. I had faith in his writing abilities and he did not let me down.
Janos did it, no problem, and helped out when asked. Bentre was still able to participate thereby. Janos ended up writing over 4500 words for these two runons.
That is exactly the kind of can-do attitude that makes a great experience for everyone. Janos continues to be in excellent contact with me as his Master. He has a helpful, can-do attitude and is chomping at the bit to get the work done needed to advance in the club. He has shown himself to be a team player and a valued contributor to our Clan's fictional doings. I think we are all very happy to have him here in this great Clan of friends.
I hereby recommend he be elevated forthwith.

Since Bentre's last promotion in November 2015, he has stepped up his game and gone from a consumer to a producer. Climbing the ranks of leadership in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Bentre has shown many people that he has what it takes to become a well respected leader and member within the Club. Not only within Naga Sadow, but also outside of the Clan, Bentre has been hard at work.
During these last 5 months Bentre has gone on a fantastic spree of gaming. He has played 80 PvP matches and 164 PvE matches in which he earned himself 1204 Clusters of Fire, 475 Clusters of Earth, and 10 Pendants of Blood! His hard work paid off this quarter and he earned himself the rank of GMRG XI! Fictionally he has participated in 5 ACC battles and 9 activities, writing 9203 words and earning 27 Clusters of Ice for his efforts.
He has also shown that there is always room to learn, and visiting the Shadow Academy as an Equite proves that there are always courses to take that will further enhance your knowledge of the Brotherhood. He has passed 3 courses and earned 4 degrees.
Bentre also has the habit of participating in competitions and winning... a lot! He has participated in over 100 (!) competitions and placed in 26 of them. To put this into better perspective, for every 4 competitions Bentre enters, he wins at least one of them! This has gotten him 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 8 Crescents with Ruby Star, 8 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 4 Crescents with Sapphire Star and 5 Crescents with Emerald Star. Not leaving it at participation alone, Bentre organized 9 competitions for the Club and co-organized another 2.
Further activity has earned Bentre a Scroll of the Master for mentoring Firith'rar J. Versea-Stormwind to Knighthood and a Legion of the Scholar for placing in a trivia event.
As former BTL for 2 months and my current Aed for the last 2 months, Bentre has written 3 reports which have been well recieved and commented on by the members he has targeted. This shows that he is a well liked and respected leader within the Club. As my Aedile he has been nothing but honest, coming to me with anything that strikes him, whether it be day or in the middle of the night. His priorities lay with how to best serve the Clan and the Club as whole. His input has been invaluable and is always welcomed.
In our last Clan Event, Operation: Firestorm, Bentre managed to participate in all comps and accumulated a total of 420 points, placing him first in a very competitive Event! Besides his Wiki and Aedile duties this is a very impressive feat to still generate so much time and energy to grab first place.
Finally, Bentre has taken it upon himself to host the current House event, Operation: Homeland. Organizing and pushing out the competitions so they would be on time and writing the fictional prompts to set the scene for Phase 1. His dedication and fervor to put out this event has been an amazing sight to see, and I am thrilled and thankful to have him at my side.
Bentre Kairn'tel Stahoes, I am honored to recommend your promotion to Equite 2 and feel that you more than deserve this. Please accept this as my humble thanks for your hard work the past few months, and know that you are a valued member within the Club.

Bentre's been an amazing member throughout his career. Aside from a stellar activity level which he somehow maintains despite both his RL and DJB obligations, he has a keen sense of what needs to be done. He has trained his first apprentice, Firith'rar, requiring very little assistance from me, and reported his goings-on timely and accurately. A positive and driving force behind many events and competitions, he motivates his members to participate and compete with one another by example.
If he continues on his path, I can easily see Bentre moving up to become something greater. Congratulations Benny!

Marcus Kiriyu, 2016-04-11 12:01:28 UTC
Bentre has been an example of what it means to be an Equite. His work has been amply covered by others. What I want to talk about is the man behind the screen. Bentre has been a pillar of support to many mbers, namely Tasha, Darkblade, myself and his old Battleteak, Devil's Shroud. Bentre stands up for his members and isn't afraid to support and push them to extremes to better improve their experience in the Brotherhood. Any ideas that he has are swiftly discussed and he has led by example during his reign of terror as BTL and Aedile. We've been trying to improve gaming within Naga Sadow, Bentre has been one of those to lead that charge. He encouraged members in many different clans to game and always has time to mentor and improve relations. I'm terrible in JA, yet I know I can rely on Bentre to help me improve my skills and become passable. Benny has been a boon to us in Naga Sadow and I thank each day that he and Tasha joined us. Naga Sadow would not be the same without him.
Bentre has also worked outside of the Clan, working for the Wiki Tribune. Bentre was named Wikipedia of the Month for his efforts and has contributed to an ongoing project that will improve the user experience on the Wiki.
For his hard work over the past several months, I'd like to see Bentre awarded for it. Congratulations on Battlemaster!

Others in these recommendations have covered Bentre's specific acomplishments and accolades. Sanguinius has spoken of the man behind those accomplishments. I must echo his sentiment and add my own account. This is what Bentre's time as EQ1 means to me.
When one looks for a Summit member, there are a few things they desire. Three of those things are that they want a leader, they want someone active, and they want someone who is proactive.
Bentre demonstrates leadership by setting himself in front of his peers and participating in just about everything. Whether that is gaming, fiction, runon writing, or the ACC, he is involved. He has recently led the CNS charge into gaming, and has been present and responsible for a a huge chunk of our gaming clusters. This has led to success on days such as the double cluster competition put out by our Fist, and on the several days in which CNS has led in cluster count among all Clans. He has pushed into the ACC with several duels, battling members of the Clan such as Janos, Quo, and Qyreia. This strengthens our abilities there, but also means that Bentre is a leader who will get involved and make something happen.
The above also speaks to Bentre's activity. Since his last promotion, Bentre has killed it in competitions. This has been mentioned in another rec, but it bears repeating. He has participated in a total of 101 competitions since his last promotion. Over one hundred competitions...in five months. That's 20 a month. His other awards show that this is over a wide range of activities: they include 1204 Clusters of Fire, 475 of Earth, 27 of Ice, and 26 Crescents overall. That's pretty freaking amazing.
Finally, I mentioned proactiveness, and Bentre definitely has this. He approaches situations long before it becomes necessary to face a problem, ensuring that he is prepared long ahead of time. An example of this was a time when he began preparing a recommendation a week in advance when he had a lot of stuff coming up0, knowing that he could have the basic framework ready to go and add the details later. This meant that he could later focus on other things.
Bentre is what I want in leaders, and he is a great example to others. On top of that, he's a wiki staff member and amiable with members of other Clans. I could not think of a better person to represent CNS.
Thus, I add my recommendation for Bentre's promotion.
Congratulations, Battlemaster!

It's time to, p-p-p-promote!
Yu-Gi-Oh references aside, Aul has been an exemplary member of Naga Sadow. Having spent the required 28 days in his current rank, he has already managed to become eligible to receive a Dark Cross for his efforts during the first 12 days of his new rank. Furthermore, Aul has managed to place in several of the 8 competitions in which he has entered, earning at least two crescents for his efforts and earning himself a whopping 78 Clusters of Fire. Feeling a little unbalanced, he then devoted his time to achieve the fourth rank in the SA society, and attaining the Dark Maven for Web Design in the process, as well as finishing a quality wiki article. Finally, he has written at least 1500 words of character fiction which has been approved by his, now obsolete, Master.
Aul, you've been an absolute joy to watch rise through the ranks, to the point where I wonder if you ever needed a Master at all. Now that you've stepped through the trials we've placed in front of you, it is time you become a full member of our Brotherhood and Clan. It is with profound honor that I hereby recommend you for immediate promotion to the rank of Knight. Congratulations!

Aul Celsus, what is there to say about him that hasn't been said before? This member has a very bright future ahead of him if he continues along this path of doing everything and making Masters look obsolete. Aul has been the easiest of members I've come across in the Brotherhood. Cheerful, determined and willing to lend a hand to get stuff done.
He has been a tremendous Apprentice, only asking the occasional question here or there, but has otherwise figured out the ways of the Brotherhood through his own efforts. Aul has the rare spark of ingeniousness to just open his mouth and ask around. This is a good thing to have, and as can be seen through his climbing of the ranks to Knighthood, it has paid off immensely.
His outstanding performance in Operation: Firestorm in which he placed 7th out of 20 participants has made me a firm believer that Aul is here to stay and a rising star with capabilities the Brotherhood has not seen before.
Aul Celsus, it is with great pleasure to recommend your promotion to Knight, you have absolutely deserved this!
