In the Great Jedi War, Plagueis moved from 6th Place overall up to 4th and contended for a higher position through most of the War, even holding 2nd Place at one point. Many of the Members of Plagueis did extremely well.

Kara Rohana was a driving force in Plagueis securing of 4th Overall. She placed 9th Overall in the War and placed in several top 10 spots including: 7th in Legends, 4th in Skirmish 2, 2nd in Mistaken Identity.

I'm very proud to award Kara her first Sacrificial Blade! Congratulations Kara! Great Work!

Arion was a driving force in Plagueis' move to secure 4th Place in the 9th GJW. He placed 7th Overall in the entire War. He received 14 Seals of Unity and snagged several top 10 placements including: 5th in Instruction, 7th in Briefings, 1st in Potent Ink, 1st in The Garrison, 1st in Recon, and 6th in the Week 0 Fiction Event.

Since her arrival in the clan, Ronovi has been a very active member. She asked questions and dove right into things. This included jumping into a clan run-on as a fairly new journeyman, but she made her presence known. It was in this run-on that the clan leadership identified her as a potential top rate member, though we were hesitant because many journeymen, regardless of skill, burn out quickly. Ronovi’s service to the clan has been extremely active and productive. She is dedicated to this clan and has served as a battleteam leader, an aedile, and now quaestor. She has excelled in these positions, working to improve overall activity and the story of her units.<br><br> Ronovi’s service in the Ninth Great Jedi War is the best example of her overall service. She was personally active herself in numerous events, placing in several events, including winning two bronze novas, one silver nova, and a gold nova. She was part of the run-on guidance team, helping the clan to construct a decent story, and helping it place third in that event. She helped solve one of the puzzle events. All this time, as Aedile of House Cestus, she was constantly in communication with them, and having to pick up a lot of the regular quaestor duties as well because her quaestor at the time got caught up with real life. During the war, Ronovi was one of only two clan members who received battlefield promotions from the Grand Master. All in all, not bad at all for her first Great Jedi War; I am confident that it will not be her last.<br><br> Ronovi and I talk a lot about the clan and the direction things are going. We can bounce ideas off of each other, and she readily and easily serves as an advisor for me. She is always willing to help others, but she won’t be pushed around, either. It is my pleasure to say that Ronovi is one of those who have made it, and however far she goes from here will be of her own choice. Her service to Clan and His Most Royal Majesty, Justinian Khyron, has manifested itself in a multitude of ways. Her willingness to shoulder burden after burden beyond her station and years has led her to become a much relied upon resource by myself and the other agents of the Sith King. In the most recent action upon Antei, when other members of the Clan waxed verbose over their own grandeur and produced little useful suggestions, instead impeding the Clan in their attempts at self aggrandizement, Templar Tavisaen charged to the fore and took command of situations as they arose before myself or Master Anshar Kahn Tarentae could. This willingness to shoulder true responsibility, rather than the vascillating, bluster of her would-be contemporaries, set her apart, earning her commendations from her fellow Summits, her superiors and those members who recognized the machinations of a true leader and not the hollow posturings of pretenders.<br><br> But her impetus goes back beyond the retaking of Antei. In Tavisaen, you have the makings of someone truly invested within the welfare of the Clan - a rarity within our august fraternity. More often, one sees a raw hunger for their own immediate glory in a member. This leads to constant jumping between Houses, Clans and through hoops, hoping that the action will benefit them, not realizing the loss of long term gain. Gain that results in the higher rank they desired, but no real roots or contacts to work with and through.<br><br> The Templar has instead dedicated herself to making herself a part of the Clan, instead of standing apart from any Clan. In Ronovi you have someone who realizes that we ultimately form a team. Some of us are lousy team players, others are great players. Ronovi is the rare member who gets those who hate working with others to work. She elevates those around her, and makes them feel important so that they're willing to work. But, make no mistake, she is not some sycophant out to appease those around her. She is just as capable of popping an overly inflated ego as she is working to inflate a terribly deprived one. And so her service to My Master requires compensation. Such high service, in His Name requires the utmost humility of us, His servants. What words can I use to express how truly remarkable she is and what an impact to bring upon the entire Dark Jedi Brotherhood and Clan Tarentum in particular. Devotion is one word that comes to mind as she is very devoted to her house and clan; giving endlessly of herself to better everyone. Inspiring is another powerful word that describes her. She lifts the membership up and shows us that there is so much that can be done with the right mindset. In addition to these two words, there is much more that could be said to describe how critical of a member Ronovi is to the Brotherhood, but alas people don’t read three page long citations. Needless to say, Ronovi Tavisaen is dynamic and inspiring leader of Tarentum who puts her clan & her house above herself and gave so much during the 9th Great Jedi War, and continues to do so yet today. It was weird, actually, working with Arion, based on the fact that it didn't spark in my head that he use to be the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy, just as I am now. Regardless, it has been great working with him. He is always around and always willing to listen to ideas I throw at him, which is plenty, and he also fixes any bugs or completes new projects quickly, and continues to do so even though his main tasks have been completed. What has Arion done concerning the Shadow Academy website? First is the full conversion of all the asp files to php, which took long enough as it was. After that, we started working on some extra improvements. On the admin side of things, he reworked the admin site to make it more fluid and easier to navigate, the added a reason box for when EPs delete an exam, and he added an answer key option for exams that makes grading much easier. On the public side of things, you automated the SA Staff Page as well as made the drop down menu actually drop down. He also added an answer record page that shows up when an exam is submitted, so that the member has a backup of their answers if something goes wrong. He also made it to where when a member retakes an exam, their new score automatically replaces the old one in the database, which saves us a lot of time in having to manually delete and re-add scores. All of this work took around three months and tons of hours, especially when it came time to beta test.

Just recently, when we went public with the full PHP SA site, he and I were on IRC to watch it, and, as would be expected, tons of bugs popped up when I first uploaded the files. He immediately figured out the problem and sent the corrected files over, and within thirty minutes of uploading the site was running at full capacity. And Arion still isn't stopping, we have more ideas and more improvements that we are slowly working on, and I will continue to work with Arion, because he is simply amazing at what he does, and it shows in his work. It is for all of the hard work, dedication, and time that Arion Sunrider put into the Shadow Academy website conversion/updating, all during the middle of a Great Jedi War that he still placed high in might I add, that I recommend him for a Sapphire Blade.

Adding on to what Aabsdu said above, I can only calculate Arion's usefulness in ways I’ve seen him perform. Lucky for him, his face has been everywhere over the past three months in the Shadow Academy. The GJW was no easy feat to conquer for any of us, but Arion wasted no time in performing a mid-GJW coding re-haul of the entire SA. As you can imagine, with a big project like this, there is bound to be bugs. I myself counted over five in the first week of the re-haul that halted the SA degree system and the SA as a whole in its tracks. There to pick up the slack was Arion, who was always on call and sometimes the only person in the SCL's office immediately available to assist us with the problem. Thank you Arion, we couldn’t have gotten through the GJW without you.

I am commending Dante for contributions in the 9th GJW: Unification. This member’s submissions to events contributed greatly to a well fought and extraordinarily close War. This member’s contributions held special gravity with the diversity and quantity of submissions. This member went above and beyond the call of duty to help the clan in its efforts. Additionally, a great number of top 10 placings were in their submission repertoire. Out side of that, Dante contributed greatly to the leadership assets For engaging in multiple events, contributing to a 3rd place for Clan Scholae Palatinae, and giving all our rival clans a run for their money, I award a Sapphire Blade.

From the 5-11-09 GM report: First Place, Arcona's Sashar, will recieve an <b>Amethyst Kukri</b> for his efforts in leadership. Despite a major snafu that left him without half his summit, Sashar was still able to keep Arcona on track and fighting to unseat Taldryan.<P> Taldryan's Shadow and Scholae Palatinae's Thran will both be receiving <b>Sapphire Blades</b> for their work to keep the war close. With so few points different and the tensions high, it was quite a feat to keep everyone going that long. Plagueis' Braecen, Naga Sadow's Bob, and Tarentum's Anshar will all be receiving <b>Grand Crosses of the Dark Side</b> as well, for their efforts. Congratulations, Consuls, and well done.

Valorian participated in 15 events of the Ninth Great Jedi War: Unification. Of those events he placed in 6 of them, including an amazing three 2nd place finishes in the Sector Sketch graphic event, Effects of War graphic event, and Depiction multimedia event. Ad along a 5th place in the Helpless poetry event, a 6th place in the Know your Enemy graphic event, as well as earning two Dark Mavens; he showed his wide range of talents in this war. Valorian created quality entries that helped develop an enjoyable and exciting Clan Run On that assisted Clan Naga Sadow in achieving First place and earn himself a Gold Nova. His crucial contributions of creating the artwork and design while coding the website to the Contingencies II Battle Plan event helped Clan Naga Sadow achieve 2nd place in the event thus earning himself a Silver Nova. Valorian began the war as a Guardian and ended a Dark Jedi Knight. For his above and beyond effort and his amazing skill in the Ninth Great Jedi War, Clan Naga Sadow is pleased to award Valorian a Sapphire Blade.
