• Dark Prophet Telaris "Mav" Taldrya Cantor: A Dark Prophet is a dangerous and deadly foe. Feared for their power and seconded only to the Grand Masters, the Dark Prophets are the epitome of the Dark Side of the Force. Amongst these Dark Prophets, one stands alone. This Dark Prophet, Telaris "Mav" Taldrya Cantor has once again demonstrated why he is feared and respected across the Dark Brotherhood. Returning from his intense studies of the Dark Side, Mav dominated the GJW with skill and élan. His prowess on the field of battle and skill as a master of Dun Moch intimated his opponents into submission.

It is impossible to derive if Clan Taldryan would have found victory in the GJW if it were not for the efforts of Mav, but one thing is certain. His knowledge and skill were welcome additions to both Clan Taldryan and the Grand Master. Serving as an advisor and combatant, Mav displayed his unique value to the Dark Brotherhood. For his skill and wisdom, I, Grand Master Sarin, award Dark Prophet Telaris “Mav” Taldrya Cantor the Sapphire Blade.
Mav did a terrific job in this Great Jedi War. His did all but one graphics and poetry submission netting him a placing of 7th in the other ladder. He also placed with many of his fiction entries gaining a 10th place finish in the fiction ladder. Mav truly came up big in the JO/JA ladder where he got 7th place with over 200 matches played. He also did twelve Run on posts helping net a lot of participation points and giving out run on some clarity. For all of Mav’s hard work, and all the WoWing he missed, he has earned a Sapphire Blade! Congratulations Mav you really earned this!

Since his last major point of recognition (promotion), Windos has given a great deal of dedication to mentoring and assisting the newest members of Gladius.

During the last (nearly) seven months, Windos has served as the leader of The Praxeum of Gladius. The objectives of this team were to initiate and train new members, to help them to learn how to be active and successful in the Brotherhood, and provide them a place to meet new friends. Windos provided this and more. He provided a mentor and friend; he provided an active example, competing in events as well as encouraging others to do so; he has helped incite motivation into younger members, and has even passed on the torch (so to speak) for this effort to Kazarelth, who has succeeded him as leader of The Praxeum.

Windos continues his dedication to assisting and enhancing Gladius by serving as Mune's Aedile. Windos and Mune have had their bumps in the past, inspired by two stubborn, motivated men who want nothing more than to see others given, and able to earn, what they have been able to earn and be a part of, as well.

Windos is excellent at keeping in communication with his members, so they will have access not only to his experience, but also to his words of motivation. He has maintained his reports from his time as leader of The Praxeum nicely, and continues this practice now as Aedile, as well. His example has even been passed onto Kazarelth in this respect, too, who is working on keeping his reports timely and informative, as well.

In the past seven or more months, Windos has also provided approximately 38 competitions for both the members of The Praxeum, as well as Gladius as a whole. Not only does he compete, he offers activities for members to have fun with, and learn things from, as well.

I have toyed with the idea of having Windos promoted for his actions; in my opinion, he has more than earned his promotion. But at the same time, I must say that, in some cases, promotions do not adequately recognize certain actions as well as other rewards. Windos is an active member and leader, but his actions speak loudly that his is a mentor, and one willing to help everyone in Tarentum, Gladius specifically, learn what they need to advance, and to have fun within this Club.

Windos, I appreciate your drive and dedication, and look forward to your continued efforts in Gladius as Aedile. Congratulations, my friend.

-DJM Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae
Consul, Clan Tarentum

Dark Side Adept Telona Murrage has just completed one of the longest and most successful streaks as Editor and Tribune of the Dark Voice. Over the past year, Telona has shown elan and supreme dedication in crafting six issues of the Dark Brotherhood periodical. Her efforts paid off for the Dark Brotherhood as we had in her an editor who met deadline after deadline and delivered the Dark Voice on time. She is one of the few, if not the only, DV editor ever to accomplish this task. What makes her work even more impressive is the fact that she had to work with a rotating list of Consuls, Dark Council Members, and Grand Masters, yet she was able to finish her job on time every time.

I am proud to award Telona her second Sapphire Blade, an accomplishment only six others in the History of the Dark Brotherhood have reached.

Congratulations Telona and thank you for your year of hard work and dedication.

GM Sarin

Telona

Medal Request: Sapphire Blade Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine (3612)

Pho is my ho.

For being my best ho, he deserves a Sapphire Blade...

ahem

When Phoenix (warmly referred to as "Pho" or "Phobird") came back and got active with the Brotherhood again, none of us were really sure how long it would last. When Phoenix applied for Proconsul, the Summits were tentative, but now that I look back, we didn't have much reason to be hesitant about it.

Pho has been an inspiration to many new members of the Clan and has been able to come up with several ideas to encourage members to be active: Scholar of the Week, a "Members Spotlight" in his reports, and the recent CSP vs. Arcona Clan Feud. He has supervised the development of the Clan JA Training Days and has provided advice, covering a huge range of topics, to me.

Gotta <3 t3h Pho.

RevengeX Palpatine Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco

---------------------------------

Phoenix is my Proconsul, a position that he holds with authority, a sense of humour and with great understanding. He is always there if you require a helping hand with something, advice on a project, input on a document, a new twist to a story or even just to have a chat to. He is able to juggle the diversity of members that he is responsible for and the workload the position places on him with dignity and mostly with a smile on his face.

He worked with Koskian to create the CSP/Arc feud, bringing the members of the two clans together with a very well-developed plot and competition base. He is responsible for countless ‘behind-the-scenes’ activities that keep Scholae going, and if he’s not working on something himself, he is helping someone else out, making their work lighter.

When I joined Scholae Palatinae, Phoenix was one of the first members who befriended me, not from his position as Proconsul, but as a member of CSP that wanted to make me feel at home. He helped me understand how things are done, what is different, what is the same, explained various CSP-specific concepts to me, introduced me to some of the older members…this is not something that can be overlooked. It is great to know that you have someone who you can go to answer questions if you are new in any Clan. He supported me unwaveringly through the initial “Oh wow, everything is so different” phase, until I was comfortable in my new home – never getting tired of all the questions, all the comments or “Pho…who/what is that?” moments.

I accepted the position of KCE and again Phoenix helped me out with the Chain of Command, setting me up with members who might be interested in the MSP, giving me his side of who would be good as Masters and who needs more experience – valuable information for anybody who is about to entrust the future of a new member to a more experience one.

It all comes together and Phoenix is one of the cornerstones on which Scholae is built. You cannot take out one or two things and say “This is what he did” and only reward him for that – because it is not that simple. Everything he does blends together into a whole, working with the Consul and house summits to create a Clan that is loved by all its members, that we are proud of. For his dedication to CSP, his love for his home, his constant work to turn the Clan into something better, this is very well deserved. Congratulations Pho.

Selene d’Tana Knight Class Envoy of Scholae Palatinae

---------------------------------

Who better than I to explain why Phoenix is most deserving of his first sacrificial blade? The answer is no one, because while many people see a facet of what the Proconsul does... it is his Consul that knows his true worth. And I would be glad to keep trading Sapphire Blades for Phoenix's continuous assistance at my side.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Phoenix's effort. Compiling 71 individual points in the MP Gaming, Fiction & Battle Plan Events and taking the rank of 63rd Overall in the Vendetta. Additionally, it was Phoenix's continuous harassment of the BP Team that helped us stay on pace and reach our final position (3rd Overall).

Additionally, the day-to-day operations of Scholae Palatinae are tremendous. In essence, I alone could keep two Proconsuls busy with trivial tasks that improve the Clan's atmosphere and comradery, but Phoebird seemingly picks up the slack all on his own. Amongst his duties is maintenance of the Clan Mailer, supervision of updates to the House Mailers, reminder e-mails for Gaming Nights/ICTE/SIT, policing #scholae, policing the Clan Mailer, moderating Conclave (Clan IRC Meetings), bridging the generation gap between new and old members, updating the Clan Activity Tracker for monthly preparation, reporting regularly to archive the activity of our members, enforcing the Chain of Command, working with the Palpatines to provide staunch role models and maintain the traditions and spirit the Clan was originally formed in and assist those below him with tasks as to remove the burden from his Consul's ever full inbox.

I would also be remiss not to point out Phoenix's contributions in a House vs. House Feud (an event he helped me moderate, judge and bring into fruition), a Clan Feud (He initiated discussion, helped write the plot, assisted in competition development, worked with members throughout the event and kept up on questions/issues/concerns as they arose from two Clans) and a Major Vendetta (Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness).

It is through all of these efforts - guidance, leadership, administration - that have helped Scholae Palatinae reach the plateau it rests upon this day. His continued excellence and strive for better things in the name of our Clan resonates through the entire group - making him a valued member, great leader and deserving of this award.

I am proud and honored to request the Sapphire Blade for SBL Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu-Goura. Macron served the Dark Brotherhood with distinction and skill as the T:DSC. During his reign as the Dark Side Compendium Tribune, Macron created varied and outstanding additions to the Dark Brotherhood lexicon of information. Macron is responsible for nearly every sentence in the DSC and for several articles still to come. I am honored to submit this award on behalf of Macron's Clan who have followed my recommendation with recommendations of their own.

GM Sarin

Macron is one of those members who has been truly dedicated in every aspect of his job and wants only to see a positive effect come out of his work. He has never received an award weapon or received the clan title, yet his work is truly worthy of all of these things and much more. After taking the title of Proconcul, he decided to stepd down from DSC Tribune to dedicate his focus onto his clan. He is one of the finest members of the Brotherhood I've met. Mac-daddy, you have earned this and so much more. Congrats, big adopted brother! ^_^

SW Shikyo "Rurouni" Keibatsu

-Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos

-Fourth Caste of the Inner Order

**

Since taking on the role of PCON for Clan Naga Sadow, Macron has literately hit the ground running. He has taken a special interest in our Jedi Hunters and is spurring them forward towards Knighthood. He also keeps in touch with the summit on everything he is working on including the improvements he is making in the battle teams and the overall fundamentals of the clan. Macron also still actively participates in competitions as well, leading the Clan by example. His work as Tribune can not go unnoticed either as he has risen to that challenge and faced it head on. He truly is deserving of this award.

KP Ashia Kagan Keibatsu

*

Macron is a truly unique member of the DB. He's humorous, he's polite, he's helpful and patient with people, and he's extremely creative. He is also one of the hardest working people I've met since joining.

From what I've seen his work on the DSC is impressive, both in his creativity and skill at writing, and also in his determination to research as much information as possible, speaking and chasing Clans and members to make sure it is as accurate as possible. The quality of the work reflects Macrons personality, he doesn't make a huge fuss, he doesn't self promote himself, he just sees what needs doing and sets about achieving it. He has taken the post of PCON of Naga Sadow, and has set about this position in the same manner, providing information, doing audits on members Knight Trials, polishing up the wiki pages, and writing humorous and detailed reports.

I've worked with Macron in various capacities since I joined, and he is a pleasure to both work with and for and I hope to for a long time to come. I have no doubt that he has earned a Sapphire Blade.

Malisane de Ath

KCB

Quaestor of Ludo Kressh

**

When I first became Consul, every time I was put in a position where I'd have to think about who I'd want to be Proconsul, Macron was one of the choices. He had been Quaestor during a strong period for the Clan, when everyone seemed to be getting along, and we were more unified than I wish we could be again. He was a nice guy, and he did a good job as Quaestor. Trust me, I was a member in his House Ludo Kressh.

When it finally came time to make him Proconsul, I was a little nervous, because he can't come onto IRC as much as other members of the DB, and therefore isn't as visible as some other members of the DB. However, I took that chance. In the two or three weeks since then, he's turned out to be an excellent Proconsul. He's really taken to keeping track of the members, and is one of the reasons why we have two new Dark Jedi Knights in the last week. During our monthly Conclave, he could only be around for about an hour, but in that hour he worked quickly to make sure all important tasks were discussed. Normally when I run conclave, it's a bit disorganized, but Macron got things done. He even engaged himself in discussions that I'm too lazy to really get myself interested in, and I appreciate that. It means that someone's getting something done.

However, this Sapphire Blade is primarily being awarded to Macron because of his work on the Dark Side Compendium. I'm aware that other people have worked on the DSC materials, but it was Macron who finally got it published. Several sections in fact, probably doubling its length. When he got DSC, I was relieved that it was actually being worked on, and that steady progress was being made on it. His DSC skills came in handy before he became Proconsul, when he and a few other members worked vigorously on various wiki pages for the Clan, really fleshing out our background. It's work only some people are willing and able to do, and I'm glad he's one of them.

Dark Adept Manesh Sadow

Consul of Clan Naga Sadow

The position of Inter-Club Training Event Tribune is one of the most important positions in the Dark Brotherhood. The T:ICTE is in charge of working with other clubs in the Star Wars universe and controlling what is often a chaotic mix of individuals and personalities.

SW Karel has handled this responsibility with passion, initiative, and skill well beyond his years. Without guidance, input, or support, Karel planned the ORW for the Dark Brotherhood. In addition to planning the event, he advertised it and helped lead the Dark Brotherhood to a dominating victory.

You know a leader has done a spectacular job when people have no interest in applauding him, yet still do. This is the case with Karel, with several ORW Clubs sending me recommendations for an award for Karel. The Rebel Squadrons have stated the ORW would have never happened without Karel, the VE thanked him for his planning, and several DB members outside of his clan have made comments about Karel's great work.

Please award SW Karel the Sapphire Blade for his consistent and skillful service to the Dark Brotherhood.

Keep up the great work Karel!

The ACC Staff has and has had all sorts of staff-member-types, but none quite like alLan Mandragoran. He's not the type to run at mach five, but he's not the type to warm a roster, either. He's one of the 'middle of the road' staff members - and truly the type I'd prefer, if I ever had the choice. alLan is personable and friendly, and always eager to train someone, his approachability being the key to his success as a Trainer. While some may come off as egotistical or condescending, KAP Mandragoran is always kind with his remarks in such a way that he doesn't offend - a quality I wish we all had, now and again. That being said, I'd like to share some recommendations from a few others in regard to his service over the last 10 months;

--------

---
Over the course of the last ten months, Archpriest al’Lan Mandragoran has served as a Trainer within the Antei Combat Centre. As the statistics mentions elsewhere in this request will show, Lan has done a phenomenal job, and has risen to the occasion to be one of the most active Trainers in the ACC. Not only this, but Lan has a very effective style of training. He has a kind way of pointing out mistakes to trainees, rather than just pointing out flaws and saying “fix this”, and his will to see those around him succeed shows through in all of his work. He has helped countless people improve their ability in combat writing, and has shown many the ways to succeed in the ACC. The Combat Centre owes him a great deal of gratitude, and I can think of no better way than by showing our appreciation with an award. Lan, thanks for all you do!

SBM Brujah Tamalar
Deputy Combat Master

---

Lan's overall drive for the ACC has been above average. For 2006 he wrote up over 50 introductions, went through the training of 30 INIs, and helped judge over 25 battles some of which were for the 5th GJW. He also helped close nearly 10 battles that had timed out, keeping the halls clean of timed out matches. 2007 has started slow for the Centre, but when things pick up, Lan is sure to be right there helping our new members learn the ways of the ACC and better themselves.

DA Telona Murrage
Magistrate to the Combat Master

---

Many of the “facts” about Lan’s activity within the ten months and change he’s been with us will probably be covered in another rec, so I won’t repeat what will have already been said. Instead I’ll focus more on how he is as a “person” in this club, as it relates to his Training job. Lan has consistently gone that extra mile in ensuring that the training he gives is at the highest level. One need only glance at one of those numerous training battles to see the level of detail he puts. He covers every topic and makes sure that the trainee is given the attention they deserve. Countless times on IRC he has come up to me to discuss any questions or concerns he may have within a given battle. Wanting to give people the best information possible, he will go out of his way to learn and grow himself. He is not afraid to say he doesn’t know something, and will do what it takes to find out the information he needs. He has also spent his time on IRC in the #acc channel, as well as in others, answering questions for people and helping those who wish to take part in the ACC. While taken as a snapshot it may not seem like much, but stretch it out to nearly a year and he has not diminished in any capacity. It is not easy to be a Trainer, to have to deal with a lot at once, but Lan manages to do so while keeping a calm air about him. He is more than deserving of this accolade and I congratulate him.

DJM Halcyon Rokir
Master at Arms

---

Lan was an immense help during my ACC training. He was readily available on IRC for questions, and always offered constructive criticism in a positive atmosphere. I have no objection whatsoever to this proposed award.

DJK Sklib

---

I'd just like to say that I fought my first training battle against 'Lan, and that he was able to quickly point out ways to improve my ACC writing. He was patient and his criticisms were all constructive, without a hint of abuse.

GRD Joshman
---
--------

Probably the most endearing quality that alLan possesses, apart from his personality, is his quality of effort. He leaves no stone unturned with any bit of training. While other's focus in different area's, alLan consistently covers all of the bases; making not learning from his ratings an impossibility. For his consistent service to the Brotherhood, via the ACC platform, it is my pleasure (and the staff's) to recommend KAP al`Lan Mandragoran for the Sapphire Blade [SB].

DJM Dalthid
Combat Master
