It is with pride that I give my support for the Knighting of my apprentice, now known as Nobilus. There’s little more I need to say, our excellent Rollmaster’s made sure of that, but needless to say I am incredibly impressed with just how much work Nobilus has put into his career since his return just before Christmas.

The most obvious example is his dedication to the gaming portion of the ongoing Great Jedi War. So far he has played nearly two hundred matches, far more than anyone else, and what’s more he has won the vast majority of these! Add to that his activity as part of Multimedia and Run-on teams, and you start to get an idea of just how committed Vosh has been.

Congrats on the Knighthood, my apprentice. Enjoy your lightsaber.

There are lots of ups and downs with the turn of every new year, and though this isn’t our first Knighthood, it is nonetheless a special one, turbulent, well-fought, and well-earned. Vosh has managed an incredible amount of activity and boisterousness since his return, and while life sometimes pulled him away ‒ as it should, with a little girl to raise! ‒ he always came back ready to fight for himself and the Clan. He’s loud, he’s proud, he’s honest, he goes out of his way to give back to his Clan using all his graphic and gaming skills, and even when things get rocky, he’ll be one of the first to own up and pay dues. In short, he’s good people, and interacting with him has taught me something new everyday, as it so often does when I have the privilege to lead my fellow Housemates.

Vosh, congratulations. Here’s to moving on, moving up, and kicking ass. Well done! Drinks on you tonight, my friend.

GRD Deidra has shown great aptitude for gaming and learning new skills through the Shadow Academy. She has shown a renewed interested in the DJB again and has been an active member on our mailing lists and in IRC. Deidra has been a great addition to Clan Taldryan's journeymen. Since her last promotion, she has earned 19 Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood (through gaming in Diablo 3) - as well as the Sith Core (culminating in her earning a Dark Maven in Philosophy), Combat Tactics I, Lightsaber Studies, and the IRC Basics Shadow Academy courses. Additionally, Deidra was (and once again is) active on our mailing list and in Clan Taldryan's IRC channel, and she has been an overall delightful member. For the above reasons, in addition to completing the written requirements for Jedi Hunter, I strongly recommend she be promoted.

It is difficult to walk the line between a busy real life and a presence in the DB. Many members struggle to handle it, but Ra'gnar consistently proves that he can keep up with his role in the Brotherhood. He has managed to maintain an excellent level of activity despite his busy real life schedule, avidly participating in rounds of Fading Light as well as our Clan feuds. Ra'gnar has participated in not 8, nor 15, but 74 comptitions, 55 of which he did since his last promotion. He has surpassed his requirement of 150 Clusters of Fire with 182. He has earned 2 Dark Crosses, a Dark Maven in Galactic History, 11 Crescents (not to mention 2 Novae), and has achieved Rank IV in the Shadow Academy Society. In addition to his relatively impressive array of medals, he has run a competition, Rule of Two, which had a successful participation turnout.

Overall I can definitely say that I am glad that Ra'gnar is a member of the Brotherhood and Clan Plagueis. He is a good example of what one can accomplish, even with a busy real life schedule. I have enjoyed following his progress and aiding when needed. It has been a good run and I look forward to working with you as an equal rather than a student. Congratulations and welcome to knighthood. You've earned it.
