I am pleased to announce that the time has come for Andraste Vivendi to be promoted to the rank of Guardian.

Firstly, she has been in the #arcona IRC channel, where, despite an absence of a couple of years, she has already begun to re-integrate into the clan's community.

Her activity when it comes to competitions has been impressive, where she has completed no less than six since joining the Brotherhood. She has even turned her hand to organising her first competition.

Andraste has also passed her order's core exam, and earned herself a pair of Dark Crosses.

Finally, she has spent the required 14 days at the rank of Protector.

To whom it may concern, PRT Black Eagle, my apprentice, has been a stellar member since joining us. As of today, he has finished and completed the promotion requirements established to gain the rank of Guardian!

He has cleared the time in rank requirement, as well as visits #scholae on IRC. He has also finished his Obelisk Order Core Exam.

He has participated in over 5 competitions including, Naming the Fleet, Assassin Fun, You Smuggler, Knife in the Dark and the recent Fading Light Runon event. It was there he successfully completed the 3 required posts and helped his team succeed to a fully finished runon! He is also one of the members in HSP currently participating in our first round of "Senate" Debates.

For his work in the Fading Light runon, he has earned 3 Clusters of Ice. He has an approved Character Sheet, and is currently working on updating that Sheet with Custom Aspects and working hard at completing the difficult task of getting qualified for the ACC.

He has earned the SA Society Rank III, along with completing many SA courses including many of the Flight and Combat Studies Courses.

It is a great pleasure to work with Black Eagle and see his stellar efforts at not only advancing his own rank, but becoming a member involved with the club as a whole. He is very much ready to take that next step toward being Knighted. Congratulations Black Eagle! Drinks are on you!

Dru has been an outstanding Journeyman from the moment he joined the club. Even though he started out primarily utilizing only his phone (and still managed to get a lot done) he has since started utilizing a PC and his activity has gone up exponentially. He has done everything asked of him, and then some, being one of the most active members of the Clan as a whole. He has earned himself a dozen Crescents, participated in over 2 dozen competitions, passed a mountain-load of SA courses, been highly active in producing fiction for the Clan and earning himself numerous CFs. His activity has earned him a Steel Cross, Anteian Cross and Dark Cross.

On top of that he has really taken to the job of Battleteam XO, producing 3 high-quality reports while also starting to run a weekly puzzle competition for the whole Clan. He has become an active part of our IRC crew, and is always trying to find more to do. I knew this day was always coming for him, and very much look forward to what else Dru can do for the club going forward. The sky's the limit. Congratulations, Dru! This promotion is very much deserved and can't wait to see what you'll do next!

I admire Dru's natural desire and hunger to succeed. He has proven time and time again that he is, indeed, one of the most active members in House Ektrosis. A Leader at heart, even if he hasn't fully discovered it yet.

I feel like he has come far in this Club, in such a short amount of time. He is constantly gaming, competing, participating, leading, and winning, the embodiment of what it means to be a member of Clan Taldryan. He has written reports, won a plethora of medals, participated in a slew of competitions and placed in most of them. He has come a long way and if I know Dru, he will continue to grow. I wish him the best of luck and look forward to him becoming a Dark Jedi Knight!!

Aiden Dru. Sweet fancy pandas man. This is a member that joined the Brotherhood in January - and he's already hitting Dark Jedi Knight with a respectable number of medals under his belt. He's participated in 30 competitions since joining, and has more than fulfilled the requirements for promotion. What do I mean by more than? Often times, members of the Brotherhood will only do the bare minimum - only wanting to hit the checkboxes to get to the next Journeymen rank - rather than completing the requirements and then continuing to participate whilst they await the time in grade to be completed. Aiden is the latter type of member: for instance, he’s run one Taldryan wide puzzle competition, and is running another right now (and I suspect will continue to run them for quite some time) – why? Because he can and because he sees value in contributing and participating beyond his own rank promotions. That is the type of member that we want to foster. For fulfilling the stated guidelines (and then some), I strongly recommend Aiden Dru be promoted to Dark Jedi Knight. Also, he did all the things.

Sometimes in the Brotherhood, you just get lucky. Sometimes, ever so rarely, you get beyond lucky and win the lottery. I'm personally of the opinion that Taldryan won the lottery in the assignment of Aiden Dru. Other people will have taken up the burden of listing out the high amounts of activity he has displayed. Other recommendations will expound upon the great strides he has taken to join Taldryan's ranks and truly embrace what it means to be a member of this Clan.

I'm not going to do that. Instead, what I'm going to do is just say simply this: Aiden Dru is an example of the future of the Dark Brotherhood. He more than deserves this promotion to Dark Jedi Knight, and I am proud to have been able to supply part of his recommendation.

Aiden, the promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight is one of the hardest to achieve in the whole club, it requires one to look beyond oneself and towards seeing your House and Clan and even the Brotherhood as a whole, but in return it will open you a door to much greater experiences in this club. You have already emphasized this lesson and continue to expand your knowledge in favor of forwarding it to other members of Taldryan. One thing to underscore this is something I experienced first hand, it was just yesterday when I was leveling a character in ToR and eventually stumbled over Aiden doing the same on the same planet as I did, we talked, we laughed and if it was something just natural he offered me to help me with whatever quests I am doing at the moment without any request from myself on that matter, it was just because he was there.

Aiden the above example is an example of exactly this looking beyond oneself and it reflects only one aspect of your interests, and I am pretty sure you will continue to grow and one day become a legend among your peers in Taldryan, now rise Aiden Dru, Dark Jedi Knight!

First of all, I'm going to be writing this referring to the member as Brain. I'm sorry, I know that's not his name anymore, but he's Brain to me.

Brain is an awesome member, one who always swings for the fences and goes above and beyond. In the 21 days of being a Defender, the guy barely stopped activity even when confronted with the rhinovirus (Not the common cold, because that's not cool enough for a guy like Brain) In these 21 days, he completed 11 competitions, including but not limited to Brotherhood Mad Libs!, Flashpoint Fun!, Monthly Mobile Gaming: Clumsy Bird (Android), and GMRG Gorefest: February 2014. He earned 4 PoB's, Passed the Leadership Fundamentals and Studies, got to the Third Rank in both the SA Society and the GMRG, placed in 2 out the 11 competitions (so far) he entered, earned 500 clusters of fire, and worked his keester off for a merit medal. On top of this, the guy is nearly always on IRC and the mailing lists.

Brain/Edgar, I love you buddy. I hope you realize how special you are to this House. Keep it up!

I am pleased to declare that Rrogon Skar is eligible for elevation to the status of Jedi Hunter, having achieved what has been asked of him.

First of all, he is a frequent visitor to the #arcona IRC channel, where he often joins in with or initiates conversations with not only his fellow Arconans, but others from the Brotherhood as well.

He has also been active when it comes to doing competitions, having completed no less than 6 and also placing in one of these. This activity is further bolstered by the fact that he so far obtained 81 Clusters of Fire.

Character development has been an area that Skar has particularly enjoyed, having written over five thousand words in various fictions.

Finally, he has been a Guardian for the requisit 21 days.

Congrats, Skar. Just one away from that saber now. ;)
