Zeon has completed all of the required tasks to be promoted to Jedi Hunter. He is a constant presence on IRC, has long since been registered on the forums, and has served at his current rank for almost 5 months.

He has completed almost 18 pages of fiction, passed his Leadership exam with a 90%, has earned 34 total Clusters of Fire, placed in a competition, and has run a competition of his own (Lego DB).

Congratulations, Zeon.

I come before you to recognize the work of Acolyte Rajax.

Having recently rejoined Scholae Palatinae, Rajax has already met the requirements for his promotion to Protector. He's signed into IRC, chatting with other members of #scholae and #db, as well as started his wiki article. In addition, he has submitted to 4 competitions: [HRLD] Dark Assassin, Echoes of the Past: Dark Hour, Echoes of the Past: Turning Point, and [VOICE] Death Scene. Last but not least, he has completed his ACC course and he has gotten his ACC Character Sheet approved. This is more than enough to merit his promotion and it is well deserved. Congrats, Rajax.

Primary reason

Since he joined the House of Ascendancy, Furios has been a member summed up by a single word - iconic. Every promotion request and merit award he bears has given testament in its recommendation to this fact, but today I mention him for a different and more specific purpose. Recently, Furios completed the Leadership Studies and Leadership Fundamentals courses in the Shadow Academy with passing grades. He bears two Dark Crosses, in addition to a Dark Side Scroll and Legion of the Scholar. Additionally, where he is required to possess a single Crescent, he holds no fewer than twelve. This alone speaks to his skill, which has surpassed the norm for Jedi Hunter.

Furios doesn't stop there, however. His competition activity includes entries to Chronicles of Ascendancy: November, Lego DJB, A Christmas Greeting, The Christmas Carol, Image Audit #2, Holiday Image Hunt!, [Reboot] The Taking of Si'Tilk, [Reboot] Taking of Si'Tilk Run-On, [Reboot] To Watch the Turning Tide, [Reboot] The Enemy of my Enemy, [Reboot] Ark of the Yuuzhan Vong, Chess Month, [Plagueis] A Stint in the Yards, [PLA Joint Ops] Dirty Dealings, and End of the Year Gaming. These fifteen mark him as a frequent competitor and show that not only is he willing to be active, he has a lust for it. In these times, this is less than we often recieve, more than we can ask for, and just what we need.

In Plagueis, Furios has stepped beyond the average role of participant to become an event host. He has hosted the competitions In the Jungle, the Might Jungle and Dark Side of the Moon with the approval and slight assistance of House leadership. He has developed the Task Force Malgus Wiki page, has achieved 83 Clusters of Fire, more than double the requirement, and he has created a graphic of the upcoming Sigil 2 outpost Fort Ash as his Summit Task. Taken individually, each of these things spells Furios out as a great and dedicated member. As a whole, they show that he has risen above and beyond the tasks and trappings of a Jedi Hunter, and therefore I feel it is inappropriate to call him one any longer.

Congratulations, Dark Jedi Knight Furios!

Primary reason

Araxis has been one of those members who is a slumbering giant, while he may not appear active on the surface or slow to get started, he always delivers astonishing results. Since his last promotion, I have had the honour of working with Araxis through the Disorder Vendetta and have seen him flourish as Magistrate to now Praetor to the Fist of the Brotherhood. Having earned 3 Dark Crosses, an Anteian Cross, two Silver Nova and a Grand Cross of the Dark Side in addition to several standard awards; his presence within Naga Sadow and the Brotherhood as a whole have been felt. Being instrumental in keeping the Console movement alive within the Brotherhood while being the primary figurehead in our Old Republic planning beyond the Fist himself, Araxis has made a name for himself amongst not only the gamers of the Brotherhood but further more amongst those with a vested interest in the upcoming blockbuster. While the Fist himself can detail these conquests in much further detail, it is my honour as a leader of his House, to recommend Araxis for his advancement.

Templar Methyas Pepoi L’eonheart Aedile of House Naga Sadow

Since his last promotion (6/12/10), Araxis has earned a GC, an AC, 4 DC's, 2 SN's, 8 Crescents (including 2 Diamond!), a Pendant of Blood, 357 CoF's, 2 CoI's, and 6 Seals. Araxis has passed 10 SA Courses in the same amount of time, and has run a competition (#5532, [FIST] Killzone 3). He remains a respected and valued member of the Naga Sadow, performing most admirably in both our strong suit (fiction) and our perceived weakness (gaming). However, one to let his excellence remain exclusive to Sadow, Araxis chose to bring his skills and enthusiasm to the whole of the DB, assisting the FIST's office by first becoming his Magistrate, then later, his Praetor. Araxis' presence is a constant reminder that, if leadership provides the platform for our members to be exemplary, they will not disappoint. His example is one to be followed by all Journeymen...and it is with that said that I wholeheartedly lend my name to Araxis' promotion. Congratulations, and welcome to the Varsity squad!

Exarch Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow Quaestor of House Naga Sadow Son of Sadow

When I asked Sai if I could assume command of the Regulators battle team, I didn’t have much of a clue at all about what I was getting myself into. All I knew is I wanted an active team, willing to advance themselves and others. I most certainly didn’t want a bunch of people that didn’t do much of anything.

Believe me when I say, I got what I wanted. I’m not going to sit here and list the entirety of what Araxis has done in the past few months alone, but I will say this much, my team activity tracker spreadsheet is clogged with the awards he has achieved, to the point where I have, on IRC, said to him straight to his face, that it’s people like him that keep those in leadership positions almost too busy to think straight.

Frankly, I find it a blessing to have somebody like him on my team. As much as he works for himself, he’s not shy about working for other people too, as evident by the Dark Cross I awarded him, specifically for reaching out to the lower ranked Journeymen during the AWOL check, to make sure they understood what was required of them to not be removed from the roster. I didn’t order anybody to do this, I asked for a show of hands, and his was one of the first to pop into the air.

As a presence on IRC, he’s quiet, but the listeners always are, and to assume he’s just logged in doing nothing is fallacy. Araxis does listen, and does speak up, and serves to help everyone in guiding those who have just come to us. All in all, Araxis Pepoi Farron might be one of the more well rounded, well versed, and well practiced members of the Brotherhood and Naga Sadow.

Because of this, I would like to formally recommend him to be promoted to the rank of Obelisk Templar. As the first link in his chain of command, it pleases me to no end, to be able to submit this on his behalf. April Fools Araxis, the joke’s on you, it’s really happening.

Dark Jedi Knight Mirado Pepoi L'eonheart Sergeant of the Regulators

Although Araxis has been on my staff for a short amount of time, he has done one heck of a lot of work. Since his last promotion, he has been gaming nearly every month, and accredit to that he has won each Halo competition that was made available, where he was given Halo armor and a Halo custom lightsaber, and most recently won the Halo Tournament where 14 other players participated. In Disorder he participated in 6 events, and took 2nd place in week 1's gaming event, as well as 2nd place in the Battleplan event. Since his appointment to being on staff, Araxis has worked on different sections of the Rites of Combat, for example, the Halo series section, Resistance series section, and the Killzone series section. He performed our own little wiki audit, determining which pages were redundant, as well as combining the Gaming patches and Gaming nights page so that there are is only one page with the necessary information about Gaming nights, patches, and supported platforms. He has been testing out various games for possibly allowing them to be supported platforms in the future, including Supreme Commander 2 and Front Missions Evolved. Most recently he tested out the Galactic Warfare mod for Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare, and when it was approved to be a supported platform, he installed the mod of the Call of Duty 4 server that I rented from AOWC. Within the hour it was ready and people were able to game on it.

Combined with his constant efforts in preparing for The Old Republic with me, as well as making sure the RoC is enforced, and for all the prior work that I have stated the Grand Cross that I awarded him last month, it is my belief that Araxis has more than earned this promotion to Obelisk Templar. Congrats my friend.
