I knew we were fortunate some eight months ago when Eiko joined us in Revan. How fortunate would become clear almost immediately as he helped Revan to win its first vendetta. Soon, his intelligence and zeal saw him to the position of Aedile as he ascended the Journeyman ranks all the while helping his fellow Revanites along the way.

Again we would be reminded of our fortune as Eiko was called on unexpectedly to take over the Quaestorship of a House full of imposing Elders and Equites. The House still in its formative stages, Eiko was required to rise to a level of challenge and responsibility few encounter so early in their careers with the Dark Brotherhood. But rise he did.

I feel personally fortunate that he was here when we needed him and able to the task. It is never an easy thing to leave something you built behind, but Eiko's easy nature and maturity made the transition that much easier. I know he will govern the House as it was intended and do what it is necessary to ensure there is a Revan several years down the road for others not yet with us to enjoy. Given his responsibility and the measure of aptitude and vigor with which it has been met, Eiko undoubtedly deserves promotion to the rare and storied rank of Dark Jedi Knight and all that it entails. We are indeed fortunate to have one among us such as this.

~Raken, House Revan

Eiko, he's definitely one of the best people that I have had the privilege of meeting in my time in the DB. He is talented, ambitious, and intelligent. He quickly made an impact in the house with his zeal and great ideas for improvement. On top of that he is a magnificent writer, his penchant for weaving an engrossing story is not one I have been privy to with my other apprentices in the past. Every time I read something of his I never want to stop, and when I finish I always want more. Despite all that Eiko has been an awesome person to know, always positive and encouraging, he is one of the people on my list who I would want to meet in real life. He's got a bright future if he's willing to per-sue it and he will do a fantastic job as Quaestor. He is more than ready to become a Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations my friend, you have more than earned it.

~OE Callus Bo'amar

Eiko has been a constant driving force in Revan since he joined the house. He is always working to evolve his character and advance himself in the DB. He's love for Star Wars and the fictional aspect of what we are about is ever present in everything he does.

His appointment as Aedile helped him and House Revan further our goals. He has always put what is good for the House first and strives to make sure we are on a steady path. When he took up the mantle as our Quaestor I knew he'd do his best to keep Revan on the path that Raken and Sarin started for us. I never doubted he'd be an excellent leader. I am proud that he has completed his trials and is now ready to be named a Dark Jedi Knight an earn his saber. Well done, Eiko! You definitely deserve this.

Being as Roxas is my apprentice, I find it fitting that I promote him to the next rank.

Out of the mandatory requirements, Roxas has completed his 6 week(42 days) requirement, logged onto IRC, and has registered on the forums.

Of the other requirements, Roxas has competed in over 10 competitions, and placed in 8 of them, as seen he has 8 crescents. Roxas has also earned a Dark Cross from me back in March. He has also ran 3 competitions for the house. Finally, Roxas has participated in several ACC matches to be qualified, getting better each time and has taken the Leadership Fundamental's exam.

Congrats Roxas on your promotion, you've earned it and only 6 weeks from earning your real lightsaber.

Nothing about my apprentice, Sarconn, is traditional. From the get-go he has had many struggles from not being placed in a house as an Apprentice to overcoming personal doubts about his abilities. His latest obstacle was his Jedi Hunter trials. Despite his real life taking up a good portion of his time, Sarconn rose to the challenge of leading the Battleteam Night Hawks when I stepped down, which was something he swore he would never do. However, he did, and he has done excellently so far. Within the first few days there was a visible increase in the amount of activity within the Battleteam from competitions and Shadow Academy courses to participation in the House-wide run-on. Another thing he was completely against was taking the SA courses for leadership, however he agreed to try, which he did. Despite his tendency to go against the norm when it comes to promotion requirements I still believe he has done enough quality activity to merit the promotion. He has worked hard on fiction, participating in a Master-Apprentice fiction that is 9 pages and still going strong; this fiction when we finish it will be the entire character histories for both his and my character. In fact, without him bugging me constantly to work on it I would still have no idea who my character was. It says a lot that a Jedi Hunter can convince a 3 year member to do something this big. When the problem of his promotion came to his requirements, Sarconn asked what he could do in place of other things such as the SA quizzes. The additional task of writing his lightsaber fiction was assigned and he completed a quality story quickly. There is no doubt that Sarconn is a hard worker who has great leadership potential, even if he is nontraditional in the way he gets things done, but he gets the things done when he needs to and does them well. It is time that his work is recognized. Congratulations Apprentice.

~Ekeia Iclo Prof., P:DGM, M:HRLD

In the time since his last promotion, the Sadowan known as Sarconn has fulfilled all of the requirements needed for his promotion, including earning a Dark Cross and writing a well-crafted Lightsaber Fiction, He has also demonstrated his attentiveness as a leader, pushing for promotions for those Journeymen under his command as a BTL when they were deserving. However, it is my estimation that the member known as Sarconn brings much more to the table than just a checklist. He has impressed me of late with his displays of Strength...and of Character. When the prospect of his promotion first crossed my desk, there was a minor requirement that hadn't been fulfilled at the time. The vehemence of his stance regarding this requirement was such that his Summit was compelled to take his case to the MAA...and as such, the MAA has begun to revamp the Promotion Requirements. Even through this episode, Sarconn had the fortitude to display his Character by altering his stance sufficiently enough to show his Summit that he'd worked hard for this promotion, and didn't want to be given any special concessions, subsequently going through with the plan the MAA and his QUA had worked out. Knighting Sarconn would be a direct reflection of the Brotherhood's willingess to look at its membership as individuals, and not numbers on a spreadsheet. Therefore, it is without reservation that I lend my name to Sarconn's list of recommendations in his Knighting. Sarconn, take up your 'saber, and continue to smite all enemies of Sadow. Congratulations! -Tsainetomo Keibatsu sadow, HNS AED

Eleven years ago I founded the Night Hawks Phyle. In all that time, Sarconn is the Tetrarch that has been the most worthy of leadership. I have seen friends appointed to the role, even our current Grand Master. Sarconn has been an inspiration of the talents of youth.

-His Immortal Eminence, Trevarus Irad Sadow

Though relatively new to the DJB Sarconn has been working his light saber off just to earn another one. With a few competition medals under his belt, along with a merit award you can see he is off to a shinning start. He has been participating in the House run on and building his character nicely. Along with working to full fill the requirments for this promotion, he has been trying to learn everything he can. Earning DJK in almost 6 months is a fast pace, but he is showing he is very ready to learn, fight, and defend his House and his Housemates. Congrats on earning the actual shinny saber!! We look forward to continuing to have you in the House!! KAP Jade Sadow

Sarconn has completed his Knight trials to my satisfaction. He holds a leadership postion and does it well. Sarconn issues regular reports, and work like his is one of the things responsible for why our group is so motivated these days. It's a relief to me as a leader to know the Night Hawks are under his able command. Since his last elevation he has served well as Tetrarch, earned a Dark Cross, posted in the developmental runon (and earned a Cluster of Ice thereby) as well as completed a quality lightsaber fiction as directed. His lengthy fictional character development work with Ekeia is praiseworthy. In short, he should be Knighted.
