The leader of the group looked up at the peculiar birds circling, their shrieks nearly paralyzing the travelers of the mist, they grew louder before diving one by one. The group screamed in terror as their flesh was carved from their bones, picked bare by razor sharp beaks that were more machine than beast; their cries quickly stifled as blood soaked into the fresh snow beneath the cadavers.
