The Envoy Droid, also referred to as the Envoy's Shadow, is a small floating Utility Droid made up of a collection of diamond and triangular pieces to form a polyhedral. The outer shell of the droid can narrow and widen, as well as fold and pull backward to show a range of expressions. The droid's photoreceptor is a central sphere on one of the triangular pieces. The Envoy Droid is capable of translating almost any verbal and physical language. It includes a flashlight, holoprojcetor, and laser pointer.
Envoy Droid makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Envoy Droid is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.
Envoy Droid has developed a personality around the concept of a caretaker. It has assumed the needs of its owner to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in Envoy Droid often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.
Envoy Droid has had a main photoreceptor modified to provide radar functionality, giving this Envoy Droid the ability to detect the distance of objects in front of it.
