Primary reason: Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year. Primary reason: In the 14 years since his last award, Jaden has been mostly inactive. After returning to Taldryan yesterday, he has been blasting my inbox with a barrage of activity. In the time since earning his Dark Cross, he has completed seven Shadow Academy courses and attained one degree, he has advanced his rank in the academy society 3 times. Additionally he also increased his rank in the GMRG once and earned one Seal of Bone for participation in the 2010 Rite of Suppremacy that was apparently not yet used in a recc before. Adding all of this up, he has met the threshold for receiving the Anteian Cross.
