Atra recently took it upon himself to clarify and lay down commonly accept rules and the etiquette of participation in DB Run-Ons. This work was unsolicited and filled a gap he perceived was left open by the lack of a unified code. After drawing it up he presented it to the Deputy Grand Master and myself and asked for it to be made official. After review we accepted and had it placed on the Wiki for all to view. For his meritorious service and ingenuity I ask that Atra Ventus be awarded this Anteian Cross.

Today, Atra passed three Shadow Academy courses: Capital Starship, Starfighter and Freighter/Transport Studies.

These three courses granted Atra three distinct Dark Side Degrees: Maven in Flight, Savant in Tactics and Combat and even the Sage in Gaming. Atra is now officially the 4th person to achieve this Sage Degree.

I am honored to award Atra 'Xue Long' Ventus for his exceptional activity since May 12th. Since his previous award for general activity, he has more than earned an Anteian Cross for his activity and contributions.

Since his last recognition, Atra has participated in 18 competitions, logged 5 PvE Activities, completed 3 Antei Combat Center battles, and penned 1 Fiction Activity (3924 words!). Atra is a powerhouse of activity. Since his recognition last December, her has knocked out 29 competitions and placed in fifteen of them. To say nothing for his 34 Clusters of Ice — which stem from his near fourteen thousand words of fiction — he's also earned a respectable 145 Clusters of Fire and 271 Clusters of Earth from the myriad gaming activity he participates in, and two Clusters of Graphite for his dabbling in the (dark) arts. Three Scrolls of Foundation and an additional Scroll of Loyalty round out this entire ensemble. Between his twenty-four hours as Quaestor, the position which I promtly stole, and the one course passed which somehow earned him two degrees (one of which was a Savant), he keeps himself busy on the weekends.

With all this in mind, I hereby and highly recommend a Anteian Cross for Atra Ventus. Good work amigo. You earned it.

Outside of his role as Combat Master, Atra has been an effective auxiliary member of the Voice Team. He has been vital to proof reading the last two major Fiction Updates (multiple passes) for me, which required an extra level of speed due to deadlines I needed to make. He not just proof reads for syntax, but also fact checks and looks up things to make sure I'm accurately staying true to Star Wars and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. What flew under the radar, however, was instrumental role in the development of Project Arx from a writing and description standpoint. Having put in a lot of legwork previously, Atra did not take it personally when we tried to tackle the project from scratch, and gracefully helped port over his previous work into the new document we worked together to build. His write-ups and detailed descriptions of scenery and locations helped flush Arx out from concept to reality. He helped with the formatting, guidance, and implementation while making sure the project remained on task despite the other multiple projects happening in the office.

Thank you for the work you do that extends above and beyond your job title, and for being an invaluable part of my team.
