It's such a pleasure to write a recommendation for James. I've had the
chance to work closely with him over the past few months as he's
worked through the requirements leading into this milestone, as he has
been both my apprentice and my Aedile. James has stepped up to the
plate as Aedile especially, asking for larger roles and more
opportunity to work in the House. His activity and presence in the
House has made a tremendous difference for the House. Beyond all the
requirements, I've come to see in James the character of a Dark Jedi
Knight in this club. He's organized, quick to learn, and I've seen him
mature through the leadership and interaction with other members in
this club.
I submit this recommendation to his immediate elevation to the rank of
Dark Jedi Knight and release him from his apprenticeship. He has
earned his place at the pinnacle of the Journeymen ranks and is
well-equiped for the road into the Equite ranks ahead.

So, the young Revan Aedile doesn't have his lightsaber yet? Let's get this fixed...
James took on the task of working on the House Revan Wiki background starting in July. Since then, he's updated the House and Prospectus pages and created a few NPCs to flesh out some of the fictional details. Additionally, he's written his own character page and sought to improve it after getting constructive feedback. In my opinion, while I'm not "House Leadership" or anyone's "Master", at least one of those has to count for "Complet[ing] a quality wiki article".
Beyond the regular wiki activity, he's come to me multiple times on IRC to discuss possible improvements to the slightly more technical wiki things like templates. This is a large part of why I chose him for DJBWikipedian of the Month for August - I truly appreciate people who send me good ideas.
We could've made the yellow template style work too. Congrats James.

James Roberts-Brannigan has been an exceptional member to House Revan and the DB as a whole. He has continuously been active, setting a great example to the members he leads as Aedile. I've watched James grow in his leadership role. His hunger for knowledge drives him to seek out the answers he doesn't have and therefore broadened his knowledge of the club. He has worked hard to develop his own leadership style all while accomplishing the tasks for his promotion.
It is with great pleasure that I reccomend James for this promotion to Dark Jedi Knight.

As of August 2nd, 2011, James Roberts-Brannigan completed his six
weeks as a Jedi Hunter. For his activity and service as Aedile of
House Revan since July, he's earned a Dark Cross. In the fifteen
competitions listed below, James has earned a total of ten Crescents
and one Legion of the Scholar. He earned an 87% on Leadership
Fundamentals and 95% on Leadership Studies. He designed and ran
[Revan] The Colonization Project. He completed his House Summit Task
of designing three competitions for use in a future internal House
event. He earned his Dark Maven - Philosophy degree in June, shortly
after joining. He has far exceeded the requirement for Clusters of
Fire, having earned 156 such awards for his gaming involvement. Not
only has he completed his personal wiki page, but he was recognized as
DJBWikipedian of the Month for August this year.
