This promotion has been a long time coming. Landon Cruise, The life of the party, and one of the single most passionate members I have ever seen in this club should be advanced to the rank of Equite 2, and take his very much earned overdue place as a Savant. Whether it be his time as Clan Rollmaster, or the active beacon of example while balancing his recent school life, Cruise never once has let his foot off the gas.

The primest example can be seen in raw numbers of his activity. Since his last promotion, he spent five action packed months as our clan Rollmaster, recruiting like a madman both in finding new blood for the clan, and bringing old familiar faces back to the fold. He has organized some 37 different competitions. He has participated in some 101 competitions in addition to that. This has earned him 2 Diamond Stars, 2 Ruby Stars, 7 Amethyst Stars, 4 Sapphire Stars, 9 Emerald Stars, and 2 Topaz Star. Cruise has also pulled in a Grand Cross, 2 Anteian Crosses, 6 PoBs, 619 CFs, 100 CEs, 6 CIs, 3 Scrolls of Foundation, 1 Scroll of the Master, and 1 Legion of the Scholar. He has passed 4 SA exams, earning a degree in the process, while also grading 20 exams.

To say Cruise has had an impact on this clan would be an understatement. Even outside of the RM position he is still constantly on the prowl for new members, making sure existing members are recognized, and ensure that CSP slays everything in its path. Being at our and his best is always just a stepping stone to reaching that next branch of epic kickassness for Cruise, and that is an attitude that reflects constantly in his actions.

Cruise, I know it is very overdue, but thank you, and congratulations on this massive step forward. CSP would never be the same without you. Drinks are on you Savant Landon Cruise!

Landon’s activity speaks for itself. Instead, I’d like to say that Landon is a special kind of clanmate. Since my arrival in the clan, I have found him to be a leader in his own right. When I joined, he didn’t hold a position or referential power, but he excelled at people. He helped me out, gave me tips, shared insights, and became a friend. This also extended to House Imperium. I would call that a people leader and clans need them to excel. It is a service that Landon gives CSP willingly and with a great deal of devotion. I think he is has more than earned Savant. Congrats Landon!

During my time as a leader in Scholae Palatinae, I got a chance to watch Cruise at the active front of some major transformations in the Brotherhood and the Clan. As things began to develop on Telegram, as new Star Wars Canon was being written, as new fans and old fans came together, he was there as an active voice and his personality has played a role in shaping a community. It's hard to quantify that, for a promotion, but it's worth noting as a nod to his impact. Luckily I don't even have to quantify that because he's organized over 3 dozen competitions, participated in over 100 of which he earned crescents for over 1/5th of them as well as hundreds of gaming clusters.

When it comes to preparing the clan for the future, we rely on improving the future leaders and members so we may pass on the torch. Landon is, above all else, a atural leader and a terrific Rollmaster when he served. When I first applied for my position in House Imperium, Landon was by me every step of the way to give me advice, guide me through the ropes, talk to me about the members and answer all my questions. He is still just as invaluable to the House summit this day. When we began our clan feud Subterfuge, Landon became a beacon of inspiration and hope. He led from the front, wrote beautiful inspiring messages and was the go-to person for a lot of activity help. He is a great gaming partner, a proofer and a team player. Landon participated in all the Subterfuge competitions and earned 4th place.

Cruise came with me from the Emperor's Hammer. In the time since he has joined us in CSP he has racked up a lot of competition wins and hosts. He has earned lots of medals since his last promotion and has been an outstanding member of House Imperium and Shadow Guard specifically. Cruise has become more than a clan mate, he has become one of the best friends i have here in this club and I even talk to him outside of the club. I have never seen someone more dedicated to something than i have seen from Cruise. I am glad he is finally getting this promotion and it is a long time coming. Great work bro!
