Primary reason

Since her last promotion in March Jai'de Serpens has continued to be a paragon of activity, going above and beyond simply fulfilling requirements for advancement. Coming to us by way of TOR it is no surprise that she has been one of the House's most active gamers since her last promotion, earning an additional 179 Clusters of Fire and 5 Pendants of Blood on her way from rank II to rank IV in the GMRG. She has, however, expressed her desire to grow as a member beyond gaming activity and has followed through on this by pushing herself into the Shadow Academy. She has completed six additional courses outside of the Journeymen Halls (bringing her average score to 99.45%!), earned a Dark Maven degree, and advanced to rank III in the Shadow Academy Society. She has also participated in four more competitions since reaching Guardian. Those contributions are laudable, but it is her activities that are harder to quantify that truly raise Jai'de above the standard benchmark of Journeyman activity. She is one of our most active members on IRC each and every day. Since her last promotion she has transitioned from a more passive channel lurker to blossom into a member that goes out of her way to try to drive IRC social interaction in a Clan that seems to default primarily to email correspondence. Additionally, she has been proactive in offering me invaluable assistance and advice since I have assumed the position of Quaestor. She has given her perspective on how Ajunta Pall and Plagueis as a whole market themselves to new members (informed by her real world experiences as a leader and recruiter), and that advice has been already incorporated into how we approach our new recruits. Finally, she has stepped forward as a conflict mediator between members, helping to prevent a number of situations where people were rubbing one another the wrong way from escalating into more corrosive conflicts.

Since I took the position of Quaestor, no member (new or old) has done more to contribute to our House's activity or overall health, and so it is with great pride I award Jai'de an Anteian Cross for her work.

Primary reason

Events are a chance for all members to show the leadership what they can do. Jai’de Serpens did that in The Enemy Below. Taking part in 8 competitions, Jai’de showed the quality we have come to know in her time in Plagueis.

Since her last recognition, Jai’de has organised six competitions while participating in a further twenty, managing to accrue 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 1 Crescent with Emerald Star and 2 Crescents with Sapphire Star for her participation efforts. Across 2 fiction activities, she also managed a total of 4,253 words, earning 8 Clusters of Ice. In addition to all that, Jai'de managed to pass six exams in the Shadow Academy, earning a degree in the process. It is an honour to recommend Jai’de for an Anteian Cross.

Additional reasons

Whether it's through Clan leadership or participation in Clan events, Jai'de has always been a pleasure to work with. Her presence can be felt through her actions, and her encouragement of other members in the Clan chat. Furthermore, Jai'de completed 8 unique submissions during the recent Clan Plagueis event, The Enemy Below, making a fantastic impact to the overall score of Team Even, raking in 49 points.

Congratulations, Jai'de. Continue to be awesome.

In addition to her general activity outlined above, in the time since her last recognition Jai'de also served as Clan Rollmaster for Plagueis for a period of three months. Always dedicated to the training of new members and helping them find their way in the Brotherhood, Jai'de was quick to send out her welcome emails as new joins hit our roster, often within the first few hours of their arrival (let alone the first 24). She worked with her then subordinate Furios to help him serve as BTL to our new join Battleteam The Circle to help him serve his members. She filed two monthly reports during her tenure, being sure to focus on helping the new joins of Clan Plagueis find their way to the activities that would help them advance down the road to JM4.

Of the competitions she organized mentioned above, three of those were for our Winter Trials event, where each summit member was responsible for the creation of a weekly event for the Clan. Jai'de's work in helping to run and promote the Winter Trials were integral in making sure that the event was the success that it ended up being. Well done!
