Hitting the ground running doesn't begin to describe the mindset that Bentre Stahoes brings to the table. He exemplifies each and every principle that I could ever ask for in a member, and the best part is that I never had to. He is utterly self-motivated in his thirst to advance in not only the Clan, but the Brotherhood itself. That drive can be seen in everything that he has done, and continues to do, in service to not only the Clan, but himself.

The Shadow Academy can still count Bentre amongst its adherents, as he earned himself a commendable twenty-three passed Courses, with three completed Mavens in the process. Not content to stop there, Stahoes continues to make his mark outside the Clan as well as within it with his thirst for competition. Since his last recognition, Bentre has participated in fifty-five competitions and organized two of his own. That is an impressive amount, and one that could only be attained through a drive that is hard to come by. His efforts have seen him claim two Amethyst Crescents, three Emerald Crescents, five Ruby Crescents, and an jaw dropping twelve Sapphire Crescents. That paints the picture more than any words could, making it plain as day the amount of effort he puts into every action he takes.

As a result of his competitive spirit, Bentre has managed to rack up a none-too-shabby stock of two-hundred sixty Clusters of Fire, paired up with fifty-eight Clusters of Earth, and trailed by a chaser of thirty-one Clusters of Ice with a side of six Pendants of Blood. Not content to merely compete, Bentre also dove into the wiki itself, an act that many steer clear of, with such gusto that he was recognized by Selika Roh di Plagia as Wikipedian of the Month for August 2015, marking him with a Dark Side Scroll.

At the time of writing, Bentre has served as the leader of the Devil's Shroud battleteam for roughly two months. For those two months I don't think there has been a single day where he has not contacted me with some question or request pertaining to his team. He recognized instantly that there was an opportunity for growth and dove into that mess head first. He never acts without making sure the path he is to take has been thoroughly investigated, and okayed by the House leadership. He leads from the front, only looking back in order to help raise others along the same path he treads without belittling them for falling short of the standards he sets for himself, lofty as they are.

His drive, his passion, and the fruits of his labour have earned Bentre Stahoes his recognition, and this award.

Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan

It is a pleasure to reward Bentre Stahoes with this Steel Cross. Since stepping into office as Aedile only five days ago he has done nothing but ensure my transition as Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan go as smoothly as possible. Taking time from his busy work schedule to answer my questions and give valuable input to changes planned for the future of the House. Whilst reviewing his performance over the past months I was astonished at the amount of activity he was putting into the club since his promotion to EQ1 back in November 2015.

His activity and devotion to the Clan and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is a beacon to be followed, and one I hope does not go out for a very long time. Since his promotion to EQ1 back in mid November 2015, Bentre has participated in forty-two competitions in roughly two months and placing in ten of them has earned him two Crescents with Ruby star, three Crescents with Amethyst star, two Crescents with Sapphire star and one Crescent with Emerald star. This shows that he has the drive to work hard and prove that there is always time to enjoy some type of competition that the Brotherhood has to offer.

He didn’t stop there though. The drive to play against or with peers has been one of Bentre’s best attributes since joining the Brotherhood. He has participated in forty-five PvP matches, eleven PvE matches and two ACC battles, earning himself an impressive five-hundred and forty-six Clusters of Fire, thirty-six Cluster of Earth, six Clusters of Ice and one Pendant of Blood for his efforts.

During this time he was also the Battleteam Leader for two months of Devil’s Shroud and posted two news posts for the team. Bentre is also an active and contributing member for the Wiki Staff and has ensured that changes made throughout the Wiki are in line with the rules and properly portrayed.

The fresh Aedile has participated in two fiction activities, writing a total of one-thousand five-hundred and twenty-five words.

Finally, he has ensured the Shadow Academy has felt his presence during the same time, gaining himself one degree and passing one course.

I look forward to working with you Bentre. If your past activity represents your current drive to perform and lead others by example, i’m sure you will reap the benefits of more rewards and the respect of your fellow members.

Zachary O'Maille, or "Mustard", aka Benny, has been extremely busy the last two months since his well deserved promotion to EQ2. Lets start off with his most impactful activity which benefited the House the most.

Operation:Homeland was a great success for Bentre and I. We had to work together on this and agree on different aspects and terms. Being in different timezones and sleeping patterns, Bentre ensured he was available during the hours that would normally be considered a time to sleep. Whilst definitely not easy to figure out the direction we wanted to go, we eventually settled for the direction that would remove Bentre's main character from the spotlight for awhile, and introducing Zachary to the Clan. His sacrifice to shelve a character in order to benefit the Clan is commendable. Having come up with the majority of the events and ensuring that they were approved by the DC on time is no small feat.

After we had finalized our plans and put out the competitions, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Bentre take to his competition. In the end Bentre wrote 2868 words for the fiction of the event alone! Ensuring that the updates were on time to coincide with the second and final parts of the event. The members enjoyed his writing immensely and I would like to take the time to applaud his distinctive work here once again.

Whilst we did have some hiccups and bumps, we learned a lot from this event (don't rush things!), and are looking towards planning our next event for sometime during/after the summer break! If you ever want an event done properly, I would advise taking the time to ask Bentre for his input. Without his effort and dedication, I doubt Homeland would have seen the success it had achieved today.

Further activity has seen Bentre busy within the gaming department. No doubt trying to secure his place as GMRGXI for next quarter! He has earned 491 CoF and 130 CoE in 60 PvP matches and 16 PvE matches alongside 2 PoB's.

As is expected of Bentre, he has also participated in 44 competitions since his last recognition 2 months ago, earning himself 2 Crescents with Ruby, 2 Crescents with Amethyst and 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars.

As a leader Bentre has excelled in multiple ways, not only as an AED but also as a wiki staff member the past 2 months, but also more recently as Professor of Lore in the Shadow Academy for a month, already having graded 8 exams. In his spare time he has managed to complete 3 more courses.

Finally, Mustard has earned 8 CI for writing 1074 words of fiction across 4 fiction activities. He has also written 2292 words in 5 posts in Run-Ons.

Thanks for your time, dedication and effort these past two months Bentre! I hope your move to Alaska soon goes well!

Since Zachary's last recognition back in August, he has continued to perform admirably. I believe him to be more than worthy of this recognition for his efforts.

When I approached him for some visual help in the Leadership for Kel Rasha House event, he was able to give me a poster for each mayoral candidate. Although the head-shots were not drawn by Zachary, his skill in understanding what I ask for in limited words has given me two excellent visual posters to enforce the NPC's that would be used for the House event. Maya Nikeisha and The Traveler would be extremely proud!

Further activity has come in the form of organizing three competitions, one of which is the wildly popular Telegram trivia! Besides this, Zachary has smashed through another amazing amount of competitions, participating in no less than fourty-five competitions in the past two months! And these aren't just random entries for participation points, no-no, they are of such quality that he has earned himself, rightfully so, two Crescent with Ruby, three Crescent with Amethyst, six Crescent with Sapphire and one Crescent with Emerald. A ratio of three Crescents per ten entries!

Gaming has taken a hit this quarter, but with a demanding job in an even more demanding environment, Zachary has found time to game in between his naps in Alaska. Out of fifteen PvP matches, he has earned seventy-one CoF with one-hundred-and-sixty-seven CoE earned in twenty-nine PvE Activities.

For his art and writing skills he has earned three Clusters of Graphite and seven Clusters of Ice for having written two-thousand-nine-hundred-and-ninety-two words.

The Shadow Academy has kept him extremely busy, having to write his Audit and grade courses. Whilst I cannot judge the content of the audit, I do know he has spent a tremendous amount of time to rewrite the courses in order to ready them for the DJB members once again. During this time he has also had to grade nineteen courses, passed four courses and earned five Degrees! The Dark Maven for Writing, Service and WebDesign and two Dark Savants for Tactics and Writing and Philosophy! These are no small degrees and require a large amount of time and effort to complete! Well done!

Finally, Zachary has mentored a student to the rank of Knight, earning a Scroll of the Master.

Excellent work Zachary! I hope you continue to lead by example and show your peers that it's not all that hard to kick butt and not break a sweat!
