Primary reason: Generally the most glaringly obvious reason for a promotion is the members activity level. While David is an active contributor to the Clan, who can always be counted on to help out in any competition, I would give a more important reason for this specific promotion. Even though he has remained a Jedi Hunter for more than a year, David has stayed loyal to Clan Taldryan. He has been overlooked time and time again for promotion or reward, but instead of getting angry or leaving; David just quietly contributes to his Clan and asks for nothing in return. This Clan loyalty is incredible, especially considering he hasnt even been granted his lightsaber yet! Well it is time for David to receive this long overdue promotion, and be given a lightsaber to proudly carry. (CON Kirs Anniversary Awards 2004)
