Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year. Since his last promotion, Padawan Managarmis has continued to work his way up. Starting by diligently studying in the Aurora Collegium of Sciences (SA), doing 38 courses and earning 7 degrees, including the Sage of History and Lore degree. He didn’t stop there, as he participated in 2 competitions, gaining 2 crescents, a Sapphire and a Topaz respectively. Managarmis has also earned himself a Steel Cross, and rank up’s in 4 of our club’s 6 societies; 1 in the Aurora Collegium of Sciences (SA), 1 in the GMRG, 1 in the Inquisitorius, and 1 in the Shroud Syndicate. All of this activity has accumulated in reaching the required 3600 XP for his promotion to Knighthood!

Since his promotion to JM3 just 24 hours ago, Managarmis has continued to be a flurry of activity, especially in the Aurora Collegium of Sciences. This time he’s done 8 more exams, and has ranked up in 3 different societies; the GMRG, the Inquisitorius, and the Shroud Syndicate. Wait, what is this? Another promotion? Since Managarmis has gotten back he’s been accumulating XP to spare it seems. I feel that I’ll be doing his next promotion to Knighthood very soon. In the meantime, let’s get him to Journeyman 3, since he has acquired the required 1450 XP.

Upon his return to Plagueis, Managarmis has been a flurry of activity, especially within the
Aurora Collegium of Sciences. In the past two days he’s done 12 SA courses, gaining 3 degrees, 2 Mavens and a Savant! In total he’s done 24 courses and seems far from done with SA. Along with Managarmis’ impressive SA career, he has earned an Anteian Cross and a Dark Cross for all of his hard work. He has also participated in 2 competitions, 1 of which was his contribution to Plagueis’ 2nd place victory in the GJW, thus earning him a Seal of Transcendence. With all of this wonderful and amazing activity, Managarmis has accumulated more than the required 850 XP to reach the next rank of Journeyman 2!
