Ben here has done so much for Taldryan, and his last merit award for the Clan was last November. His continued competition participation, his recent gaming, and being accessible to those in the Clan on IRC to help with problems out of the blue or any website issues they have, is simply great. Beyond this, his input on Summit activities and his continued efforts with keeping up the Clan website has been outstanding and very appreciated. He just finished up a major overhaul of our Clan website which will really help out the administration duties plus it looks a great deal better and flows well. It is a pleasure that this will be my first official act as Consul of Taldryan. Very recently Ben has re-coded and re-designed the entire Taldryan site (www.taldryan.net). The site itself looks fantastic, while the admin-side of things is much more robust allowing us to do much more ourselves. The site is a wonderful resource for the Clan, and Ben has poured in numerous hours on making it even better than it was (it was arguably the best Clan site already). This, coupled with his continued activity both in competitions, IRC, e-mail and TT-submissions, I believe this token is more than enough. Thank you and congratulations!

Ben has done me an amazing service (and no, not that kind). After months of me bitching about the manual IRC idling for ICTE matches he made me a cool web page that allows participants to simply fill in a few text boxes and have it sent to my email address so I can grab them later. And, after I discovered I couldn't get it to work right for me, Ben uploaded it to tal.net and added in some instructions I wrote up. I don't usually award merit medals, but Ben has been a huge help and I feel he deserves something for his efforts. Thanks Ben.

Throughout my entire time as Justicar (almost a year now), Ben has been my most steadfast assistant. Hands of Justice come and go, but literally from day one Ben has been here to help me with my greatest weakness....coding. The day I became JST I had a blank website and many, many ideas, and Ben volunteered to be my web guy. He took that blank site and my crazy ideas and has turned it into one of the best resource pages in the entire Brotherhood. He has updated it very quickly whenever I have new ideas or content, he comes up with ideas to make things function better, and has never asked for anything in return.

The codex tells us that the Kukri is to be given for, "dedication and focus on furthering one aspect of the Brotherhood far beyond what was expected of them". Ben has no official position with the Chamber of Justice, yet he has consistently dedicated his time to ensuring that all members of the Brotherhood have this fantastic resource at their disposal. I've recommended many awards for Ben during this time in the DB, and I am proud to request that he be given the Amethyst Kukri for his longterm dedication and assistance to the Chamber of Justice and Justicar.

Benevolent came out and did well for the Clan in this war, as he has since joining the Clan long ago. Last year he was Proconsul for the Sixth Great Jedi War, this time only a member but a contributing member and that’s what counts in the end! Ben jumped into the Run-on, both Gaming ladders, two Fictions, the first Endurance of Pain event, two Graphic events, and two Poetry events.
