Following recommendation from the meeting of the Inner Circle for the Conclave of the month of July 2005 we would like to request the presentation of a Steel Cross to Dark Jedi Knight Macron Goura.

This recommendation comes in light of Macron’s tremendous work as Commander of Sapphire Squadron and upon numerous recommendations. He has been extremely supportive of the Independence Games having made a number of submissions himself together with trying his hardest almost on a daily basis to stir up and encourage activity and participation, not just in his Squadron but in the whole Clan.

Previosuly grading two exams, Macron gave up one exam since taking over as the DSC Tribune. Macron Goura Sadow participated in 14 events of the Ninth Great Jedi War: Unification. Of those events he placed in 3rd in the Recon fiction event earning a Bronze Nova. Macron created quality entries that helped develop an enjoyable and exciting Clan Run On that assisted Clan Naga Sadow in achieving First place and earn himself a Gold Nova. His contributions to the Contingencies II Battle Plan event helped Clan Naga Sadow achieve 2nd place in the event thus earning himself a Silver Nova. Macron Goura Sadow is a member who I am really happy to have in Naga Sadow. He has almost always been active, and Chasing Horizons was no different. He entered two competitions in the feud, including the week 1 fiction and week 1 poetry. He also posted a lot in the Runon, and was an integral part of moving the plot forward. Beyond this feud, Macron continues to be a helpful advisor to Summit. He is always there to help us with the Clan's lore, our fiction direction, and wiki updates. He also advises us on many of our other projects and has demonstrated that, although he no longer holds an official leadership position within the Clan, he will always be dedicated to its well-being. Macron is a pinnacle member of our Clan. He is always to be seen in feuds and on the participation charts. During the feud with HSP, Chasing Horizons, he demonstrated this by consistently placing in the rankings and participating in a majority of the events. He was a constant force within the RunOn as well as maintaining a presence in the mailer driving others to participate. Always available to lend his voice to a discussion, Macron maintains the attitude of a CON despite his absence from the role, and this is a great thing to see.

As usual, Macron has been one of the leading forces in the Clan; outside of being an active voice on our mailer and lending his experience to the Summit, Macron continues to offer his services to the outside the Clan such as his recent work with Sith Empire History and the Shadow Academy. During recent feuds, Macron participated in a large majority of the events and consistently placed within the top rankings and he has also been a constant presence within the Dark Crusade prologue as well. Yet again Macron is the bright star whenever we need light to shine. Macron is a really consistent member of Shar Dakhan and he has been helping in all types of manner.

From recent activity he was participating heavily in the Fading Lights RO, to the Battleteam Feud where he attained more points than any. In which during the Battleteam RO he posted more than anyone on any team for his team. And he has also brought another student under his tutelage to a Dark Jedi Knight. Then just as soon after that he has another Apprentice and is training them now.

Macron has even personally aided me with helping the house still function as I am still quite new to the ropes of leadership. But he has provided a wealth of help and knowledge which goes a long way in helping the house get better. This has been consistent since I first stepped into office back in October.

The Madman has even went out of his to even win the clan two fictional sources for crystals in his own RO adventures. While during these events he was still giving members advice and helping out the house summit and clan summit with anything they needed and still does. A former Consul, twice over, Macron Goura Sadow returned to the Clan roster back at the end of last year to support our Quaestor in Shar Dakhan. This is one show of the ways that Macron has supported Clan Naga Sadow in his own way. Yes, he helped Darkhawk to create the Veiled Curtain: Three Shades of Black event with Darkhawk, and before this was a collaborater on the Abomination event. With these events, Macron organized 8 competitions, and co-organized another 2.

Both events were well recieved by their respective target units, and it is continued support like this, and his support of the Clan in GJW XIII that testify to the care that Macron has for Clan Naga Sadow.

As for personal activity, Macron Goura Sadow has participated in 45 competitions, and earned 16 Crescents. 2 of these have been the coveted Crescent with Diamond Star, 3 have been a Crescent with a Ruby Star, 6 have been Crescent with Amethyst Star, 4 have been Crescents with a Sapphire Star, and the last lone crescent was a Crescent with a Topaz Star. 13 of his participated competitions were during the Great Jedi War, earning him 13 Seals of Discord and contributing to the 2nd place that Clan Naga Sadow achieved in the War.

Besides this, Macron has got himself a Seal of Loyalty, and has gathered a frankly impressive number of Clusters of Ice. I mean, when you look at the 24459 words of fiction, spread across 26 fiction activities and 2 ACC battles. He also wrote 35 run on posts which racked up another 26856 words.

More important than the crunchy stats that I pointed at above, I do want to emphasize that when he was called upon to help, by myself or by Darkhawk, Macron has brought his own brand and flavor of contribution to the table.

I hope this award will act as a symbol of our apprecitation for the time, energy, and contributions that Macron Goura Sadow has given to this Clan, our Summits, and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

I'm honored to be writing this recommendation for Macron. His medal XP of 1232 indicates he qualifies for a Steel Cross and it's easy to see why. Macron recently returned from the Rogues to help CNS in the GJW, participating in five competitions for the 'War.

In total since his last recognition, Macron has participated in 11 competitions for which he has earned two crescents. He also participated in two run-ons for a total of 8 posts and 4542 words. He's earned 15 clusters of ice and 3 of graphite. He has also earned 54,120 credits for CNS, which I definitely appreciate!
