Elincia Rei has been a tremendous aid to myself and to the betterment of CSP for a long time now. The last several months since his last awarding has seen several major clan events, and overhauls of systems which I honestly don't know if I could have gotten through without his help. In terms of easily tracked numbers, Eli has helped me run our last two major clan events, Starfall and Midnight, thus been part of some 38 different competition management. Through those big events, he helped push for an incredibly quick turnaround to have each competition judged (24-48 hours of closing) which is impressive given how many comps would be running at any given time. Eli had also gone on to participate in 6 total competitions himself, earning a Ruby, 2 Amethysts, and a Sapphire Starred Crescents. Eli has also taken in 13 Clusters of Ice and a Dark Side Scroll.
But more than his general numbers, his continued time as Proconsul has been packed with activity. With the launch of possessions, he was the first in CSP to attempt to piece together a functional military for the clan. Hours of work and discussion later, we were able to put together a most excellent system. He then took charge in working through the naming of our systems, and the incredibly tedious job of documenting the new military on the wikipedia. This included a new template infobox, the large pages for both Navy and Armed Forces, and many individual pages for our biggest ships.
With our two biggest recent events, no only did Eli help run and come up with competitions, he was my regular go to in proofing the fictions, and the one who helped get the fictions into a lovely easy to read PDF format. So many hours have been spent talking about the clan, and future plans, I couldn't be more grateful for his efforts as PCON. It has been a tremendous joy to work with him, and a massive relief for the things he brings to the table.
For this I recommend he be awarded this Grand Cross.

Eli hasn't been the usual PCON for the Brotherhood, I wouldn't say he is an average one either. The work that this guy does for the Clan cannot be recorded on paper or a database, except maybe the military fleet he personally organised. Eli is the type of leader, that once he sees a problem he takes the spear-head to fix it. Often working heavily in the background, Eli's instinct is spot on in his role. From countless discussions about which capital ship would be best, to the success and activity of members within Imperium, to simple things he likes such as gaming on Winterbells and writing his own interpretation of the Midnight plot.
Eli is a real speaker with a talent for coordinating thoughts, analysing the next step and writing up the hypothesis for our future. There isn't a moment in my service as House leader that I felt I couldn't turn to him for help, because Eli knows the right answers. He's adaptable, he's tenacious and he is brilliant.
Eli isn't an average PCON, he's the perfect PCON.

Eli stepped up to fill the role of PCON 4 months ago and he has yet to shy away from the challenges put in front of him, nor has he run away from us. He has done an excellent job supporting the Consul, and in addition is always willing to help me out when I need it. Lastly, being a PCON requires dealing with a lot of dissenting opinions. You have to not only be able to deal with them but be WILLING to deal with them.
I'd like to take this moment to second Xen'mordin's recommendation for a Grand Cross. He has not only assisted the Consul in major events over an extended period of time, but has done a good job handling everything else not everyone gets to see. Thank you for you efforts and congratulations!

What can I say that has gone unsaid? Eli has been an amazing leader, an exceptional member of the clan, and, a wonderful friend. Everything he does for the clan, he does with its members foremost in mind. From driving activity, to listening to what his clan mates have to say, to coming up with ideas and plans to drive the clan ever further; his wheels never stop turning. There is not many like him, and we are tremendously lucky to have him as our PCON!
