Howlader, or as I know him, Howie, is somewhat of an enigma to me. He is a Dark Jedi Master, and is apparently acquainted not only with most of our elders and leader on a RL first name basis, he knows the EH leadership as well. We’re incredibly pleased however with what he has brought with him from wherever it was he spawned. His presence in IRC is ubiquitous and he engages even the newest of members in talk. I would go so far as to say that he is the #Taldryan conversation Bot.

Most DJMs don’t set very high of a standard for personal activity. Having been a member of OUR DB since 2008, and a DJM for many years prior to that, one would expect Howie to be nothing more than Roster Candy, something beautiful we use to adorn our Roll. This is as far from the truth as possible. He’s become known recently as something of a Trivia Whore, participating whenever he has the chance. In the course of a month, from mid-February to mid-March, he earn no less than five Legion of the Scholar.

If for that fact alone, I recommend that Howlader be award this Anteian Cross.

Howie! Holy crap, where to begin? Howie is first and foremost a Brotherhood historian par excellence and living library, and on innumerable occasions when one of our Journeymen asks the Summit a question about a past Vendetta or event (which by all rights we should know the answer to), Howie is oftentimes the one to pipe up with the answer and cover our tails. Nor can his unusual vigor be understated; in terms of both IRC presence and the simple participation that is the bread and butter of our Club, Howie at Dark Jedi Master is more active and energetic than some of our Equites! Howlader, simply put, is a great example for all of his Clanmates and is a proof that being an Elder isn't synonymous with being inactive or apathetic. As for Dark Jedi Master Howlader, the previous Chancellor, I have decided to give him a Diamond Sword for his services as a Dark Council member. As far as I know, he has been the person who stayed the longest in an active Dark Council position.
