Since being promoted to the rank of Guardian approximately three months ago, Kalak Ragnose has excelled in his position as a member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. In this time, he has accrued three Legions of the Scholar; placed 159th in the Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness and earned two Seals of Darkness for his greatly appreciated participation; earned five Clusters of Fire for participation in Scholae Palatinae’s JA Training Nights; and earned one Crescent with Sapphire Star for taking second place in the poetry event of Fiction Tribune Ricco Vao’s "Facetious Fiction" competition that was available to the Entire Brotherhood.

As his Master in CSP’s Master-Student Program, I originally assigned Kalak four tasks that he completed with contagious vigor and excellence. Kalak has also been active on the Forums, submitting two pages to the Writer’s Corner and bringing his total post count to 45. He has also run a successful House-wide competition, entitled "Our House," and was introduced to the rules of requesting competitions through the DJB.com site. Additionally, he wrote a six page about a training mission between the two of us. Although the story was not "perfect," it showed a lot of progress and improvement from the previous story he had written.

Recently, Kalak has been helping Head Master Anshar Kahn Tarentae and the Shadow Academy by hosting trivia events and creating the questions to those events. So far, during his tenure as Magistrate to the Head Master, he has hosted two message board and IRC trivia events. However, before he was officially appointed to the position, he had volunteered to run the trivia events – a noteworthy performance of kindness.

Thus, it is with great pride that I recommend my Student, Guardian Kalak Ragnose, for elevation to the rank of Jedi Hunter – only one more to go before the construction of a lightsaber, my Apprentice.

The four tasks that Protector Kalak Ragnose completed are as follows: earn a Crescent, earn a Scroll of Indoctrination, create a character graphic, and write a story of at least three pages detailing your character's history before joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Kalak has done all of these with an enthusiastic vigor as well as completing three Shadow Academy courses and earning a Legion of the Scholar for a prestigious first place in the Shadow Academy trivia competition. Kalak has also created his own character page on the Brotherhood's Wikipedia.

He has also begun to work with me on a House project detailing each of the House's facilities and he has shown me that he is an excellent, creative source for ideas and information. Kalak has shown a genuine interest in getting actively involved and helping the House, and Clan, progress as a whole.

Since I have taken him as my Apprentice, I have seen his skills in communicating and, especially, writing improve a great deal. For learning what is necessary at the rank of Protector, and showing a craving, a thirst, for more, I believe that Kalak Ragnose is ready to be elevated to the rank of Guardian.
