To whom it may concern. Korroth Karn has been a vital part of Clan Scholae Palatinae since my first leadership position. While I was BTL of Ebon Cloak, Korroth was my most active member. He took a very active part in the development of the Battleteam wiki page, doing an extensive amount of writing and drawing diagrams for use on the page. And now Korroth is taking a very active role in writing up the wiki article on House Acclivis Draco. Korroth is a stellar member, one of the best in HAD. I would like to recommend him for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Once a member such as Korroth has reached a certain level it becomes difficult to reward him properly for his continued activity. I believe he has earned this award, and I hope that the powers that be see fit to recognize his valuable work with the House and Battleteam and approve this award.

To Whom It May Concern: DJK Korroth Karn is an exemplary member. He works hard and with dedication. When I was first made Aedile of House Acclivis Draco, Korroth approached myself and Exodius (Who was QUA) about working on a project for the house. His goal was to take previous work on the wiki article of the HAD homeworld of Antenora and upgrade it. He took the initiative and delivered. With out having to poke and prod him, Korroth kept in regular contact with the summit about the progress he was making. When ever he finished the information on a new city, he sent it to us for feedback. All of his work was outstanding. He brought the planet to life in ways few people could have. When the project was finally finished and uploaded, the Antenora wiki article went from ~43000 bytes to over 85000 bytes, nearly doubling size. Even the Wike Tribune noticed with a “Wowzer”-moment and 4 wiki writer awards. There are few members who take the initiative for so much effort. Korroth not only took it, he excelled. Everyone who has taken time to look at the information presented on the Antenora page has been very impressed by it. Intense amount of creative work was necessary for such project. This is not all Korroth has accomplished in the year he has been a DJK. He has managed to get two Crescents with Quartz Stars and 4 Crescents with Sapphire Stars. He has also completed 6 SA courses. I have been more then impressed with the level of work and effort Korroth brings to the DB. Korroth has more then earned this Grand Cross. Drinks are on you my friend. Xen’Mordin Vismorsus

Aedile of House Scholae Palatinae

Korroth wrote an enormous amount of text for a house project. He uploaded this to the Dbwiki in two parts: on July 15, he added brought the total amount of bytes of data from 42,000 to 84,113. The next day, he added another segment bringing the grand total to 85,000 bytes. In total this amounts to nearly 9,000 words and actually doubled the size of that DBWiki page. He took the initiative to renovate/rewrite the Planetary page for Antenora, nearly doubling the size of it. Keeping in touch with his summit, sending every piece he wrote once finished. Korroth brought a level of professionalism to this that is not often seen in our younger members. He is also, thanks to this work, the only member in the Brotherhood who earned four (4) wiki awards based on one page. He has, since attaining his Knighthood last year, earned the following Crescents: 2 Topaz, 2 Quartz, 4 Sapphire. Further, he earned 1 Cluster of Ice and was awarded an Anteian Cross for his tremendous activity in the CSP event: 2010 Spring Games. Even as we speak, Korroth is working on further development of the Scholae Palatinae fictional Dominion on the DBWiki. In my opinion, Korroth is one of those rare gems who work to improve the Brotherhood first and foremost. Those who don’t think about what it’ll earn them in promotions or medals while they start the project. During the Rite of Supremacy (RoS): Disorder, Korroth Karn became a veritable fountain of activity, amazing his summit by the level of dedication and work which he pulled towards himself. Korroth participated in ten events the RoS had to offer (10/16) and placed in several of them, in the Week One (1) Graphic Event, he earned himself a Gold Nova and in Week Two (2) Graphic Event, he earned himself a Bronze Nova. It is rare for a member to partake in so many events and still keep the quality of their work high enough to earn more then one placement, let alone a First place. Additionally, Korroth has been working on further increasing the fictional background of the HSP dominion. Recently he finished work on Antenora (one of our planets and it’s moons). For this subproject, Korroth wrote a staggering 10,000 words (nineteen (19) pages in total): - Eight (8) pages on the Fauna of Antenora (over 4,100 words long) - Four (4) pages on the Flora of Antenora (over 2,500 words long) - Two (2) pages on Geography (including climate, tidal forces, etc.) (over 700 words long) - Five (5) pages on Religion, Society & the undescribed moon (over 2,700 words long) He also created Graphics of the Flora on Antenora and several of the Traditional clothing of the native Antenorans. He then set to work on editing the newly made data into a slightly shorter version for DBWiki use. Despite having made the move to Odan-Urr earlier in the week, Korroth still requested permission to work on doing the same for HSPs other three worlds (Caina, Ptolomae and Judecca), something which I will gladly allow. In summary, Korroth Karn is the epitome of what a Great DJB member (outside of leadership) should attempt to emulate. His projects are created with a dedication and feel for detail that few could manage. His work is swift and his attitude professional. It is not without more than a touch of gratitude that I am writing this recommendation for one of my Judges in the Antei Combat Center: Korroth of Clan Odan-Urr.

There are some things that I deem as necessary evils when it comes to the work that tends to go along with any leadership role within the Brotherhood. The chiefest amongst these would have to be wiki work. So it was that Korroth took it upon himself not only to identify an opportunity for improvements to the Antei Combat Center wiki page, but to provide a full proposal on how to go about it.

This proposal included timelines and recommendations that made it all too easy to grant approval for the project. As a result, Korroth set to work on what would become a months' long project and a solo undertaking. Korroth worked tirelessly to create a full fictional history for the Antei Combat Center. This project began in late October 2016 and was not completed until the first weekend of January 2017.

Korroth provided steady updates throughout this period, corroborating details with those involved in order to ensure the accuracy of the work. In the process, he got the page completely up to date while writing the wiki content and formatting as well. Further to this, Korroth compiled and updated the Antei Combat Center landing page with a list of all past victors for the events of our office.

This wiki work is live on the site already, with the History of the Antei Combat Center clocking in at 4691 words of writing. I cannot thank Korroth enough for the effort he has taken in this undertaking, as I generally don't like asking for members to do what I would not be willing to do myself. What's best about this project is that I didn't have to ask.

All this occurred while he still operated under the role of Judge within the Center. Since his last recognition, Korroth has completed a total of 4 battle judgements and graded 2 qualification exams. This is not an insignificant amount. Each judgement can take upwards of 3 hours of continuous attention, which doesn't include juggling real life obligations and that of his free time.

For this project — the time spent and work performed — and his unrecognized efforts within my staff, I am proud to recommend Korroth for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Thank you for your work in helping the Antei Combat Center become a better and more integrated portion of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
