Under the tutelage of Vai Azexel, Severon has found the direction he needed. He has focused on what is important: doing work that benefits the House, the Clan, and the Brotherhood. He has completed all the standard requirements for promotion to Dark Jedi Knight by earning an Anteian Cross and many crescents. He has participated in at least 15 competitions, most recently including Haiku of Turkeys, Analyze This, All in the Words, (Blank) is to (Blank), and Comic Relief. He completed the Leadership Studies and General Leadership SA Courses. He has run several competitions for House Gladius, including six weeks of Gladius Trivia and Warrior Spirit. He earned his Dark Maven: General History in early November and has been working on his Wiki article, which has turned out quite well. In addition to these basic requirements, he has assisted me in keeping the House Gladius activity records updated. He has consistently sent out reports to the House in his capacity as Rollmaster, including both summaries of everyone's activity as well as a listing of currently active competitions. He also emails incoming Apprentices to welcome them to the House and get them oriented. It is my belief that Severon Vercingetorix exemplifies the qualities Clan Tarentum seeks in its Knights, and it is my honor and privilege to request that he be elevated to the highest of the Journeyman ranks.

I first met Severon when he was a member of Arcano Signum, a Gladian battle team that I was in charge of. My first impression of Severon was that he was very eager to prove himself, but apart from that, I didn't get much else from that experience. Then came the ninth Great Jedi War, when Severon audaciously jumped into a run-on in order to learn more about the process. In many ways, Severon is still learning, but in other ways, he knows a lot more than others.

As Rollmaster of Gladius, Severon is an energetic, dedicated leader, and the more he dedicates himself to his house, the more it appears to flourish. He is cooperative, amicable, and very willing to learn. I hope that he takes this promotion not as a final step, but as the very first step in his career - after all, Dark Jedi Knight, in a way, is only the beginning of it all.

I am very pleased how Severon has developed as a member within the Brotherhood. From his first day as my apprentice he took the challenges I presented him with and met, often exceeding my expectations. With Knighthood within his grasp, I have come to see him take on great challenges and that better his house, his clan and the Brotherhood as a whole. The Brotherhood takes members who can commit themselves to an ideal and believe that they can make a difference, Severon is one of these people. Severon Vercingetorix is a long time member of House Gladius and is one of the most devoted members I have met in the DB. Unfortunately he was not given the appropriate guidance early on, so it has been a struggle trying to corral all his energy into something useful. Lately, he has been working with his Master, Vai Azexel, and has shown great improvement. I believe he has a great future in the Brotherhood as a mentor and a leader. Since his promotion to the rank of Guardian four months ago, he has visited the IRC channel, participated on the Gladius forums, passed the General Leadership SA course, completed a five page work of fiction under the direction of his Master, placed 3rd in the "Orders" run-on during the Great Jedi War, earned a Dark Cross for his participation in the GJW, and has run several competitions with minimal assistance from me including most recently two rounds of Gladius related trivia. ~ SW Scion Altera

I am pleased to recommend Severon Vercingetorix for promotion to the rank of Guardian. He has completed all the requirements for the rank by being a participant in many more than five competitions, completing the ACC Initiates exam and his character sheet, writing a good Wiki article, earning a Dark Cross for his efforts in the Great Jedi War, and successfully running a competition with only a minimal amount of my help.

This promotion has been a long time coming, and it is a result of a huge amount of personal growth on Severon's part. He has started to take his leaders and their lessons seriously, and his focus is shifting from getting rewards to doing the work required to earn them. He is maturing a great deal as a person, and I believe he will make a fine leader as he continues to grow. I am proud to see him come back to us ready to work, and worthy of advancement.
