Since his return to active status within the House, Alaris has demonstrated his resolve to continously balance his duties as first Left Hand, and now Right Hand of Justice, with a desire to grow the House, and mentor newer members. To this end, at a time where having just recently closed Primus Pilus due to its dismal failure and poor leadership, Alaris sought out another member, Arden Karn, to build a proposal to not only create a new battleteam, but two of them. The idea behind it being to mimic Arcona's successful work with Galeres and Qel Droma before being re-clanned. He worked very hard with the Summit to come up with a name that was fitting for his House, and to then select an XO that would essentially be his functional right hand, and Aedile should we reclan. He and Teylas have worked diligently in crafting a wiki page, a back story, and designing the thematic elements of their BT so as to be appealing to members.

Alaris continues to be available to the membership for editing, proofing, and general idea mentorship and sounding. He has no qualms about giving it straight, and often seeks to take an idea that doesn't work, and to help the member mold it into something not only useful, but different and attractive.

Alaris has really stepped up in working with the Summit on ideas, proofing of fictions, of wikis, and generally being someone who pitches in wherever he is need, despite the demands on his time from his duties in the Chamber and RL.

He really is the epitome of the member we want to promote to EQ4, as a facilitator of others, a provider of new content, and a good example of what hard work and dedication can achieve.

There comes a time when it becomes necessary for us to recognize the outstanding members of our organization by matching their rank with their incredible fortitude and love for this club. Alaris is one such member that is behind the scenes on many fronts, but I will only point out his Chamber work. Since coming back on as Left Hand of Justice, my first Left Hand appointment during my tenure, he has been a guiding arrow of conscience and morality for this club, myself, and the Chamber ofJustice at large. Jumping head on into the fray, Alaris authored and co edited the Amendment of the Dark Covenant that allows Hands to now serve year long terms, and Appeals Panel members to serve 9 month terms. He served as the defense for my first two cases, proving to be both impartial and invaluable as an aide to both the accused and myself. When it came time for me to select a Right Hand, he was there once more ready to jump into the fray with me, this time as the prosecution for his third overall term as a Hand. His brilliance shown through during #036, his first expulsion case that required all hands on deck, literally. His measure of work ethic matches my strict requirements for logging all evidence and he himself tends to catch things in a case before I myself notice them. On top of this, Alaris has also an extensive Dark Covenant amendment soon to come that will change how the Left Hand of Justice interacts as a position. His work load over the last year has been extensive, and I can honestly say that with the recent influx of complaints, that he is the most learned Hand of Justice that this office has ever seen. I can only hope that he continue to evolve and grow as a member that I know he can be. It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Alaris Jinn di Plagia be elevated to the final rank of the Equites, and take his rightful place among the elite.
