To the winds of the Force itself: I Aedile Prajna Berkana of the Great House Dorimad Sol present Melvin. I really need no other proof of this House's approval than his recent transfer to the Blades of Chaos. BoC takes only the highest tier of reputable, active members from our House and shapes them into stone cold warriors. This is done in a monthly ceremony where at most one member is inducted. However, in just over a month, this young journeyman has taken on everything he can to prove he is currently the unopposed champion of what the soul of House Dorimad Sol represents. I'd like to say I see myself in him, but calling Melvin an overachiever is an understatement. He is more everything I could have been if I were as motivated an individual. A journeyman should be a master of activity, and a master of studied lore. As only a guardian, he has broken the mold many people hope a DJK would grow into.
Literally, no journeyman can rise faster than the spirited Guardian has made it to this last step before knighthood. We as Clan leadership have thrown obstacles at ever turn to slow him down, but he keeps punch through each with ease begging for more. Completed the Lightsaber Studies Course 6. Completed the Advancement Survey 7. Sith SA Course 8. Krath SA course 9. Requested a warbanner 10.Earned a Dark Maven degree by completing 5 SA history courses In addition, he has become a weekly participant in the ICTE and earned a 2nd place finish. He also has excelled in his scholastic activities by taking more than the required SA courses as well as earning a Dark Maven History degree. Melvin also has an outstanding presence on IRC and keeps in regular contact with both myself and his House. I look forward to working with him on his Dark Jedi Knight trials. -Dante

In eleven days since becoming a Protector, Melvin has shown eagerness to pass every barrier thrown at him by the Trial of the Sun tasked by his master, Angelo Dante. His growth in gaming is phenomenal, earning 26 CFs in a little over a week. With these comes wins that show not only is his activity steadily increasing, but also his skill.

He has studied the basics of leadership, early sith history, and also show proficiency in how a run-on works. All this was done promptly and efficiently at the Shadow Academy. In excess of all this, Melvin is learn much as he has begun his qualification battle for the ACC.

He is an example of what is required of a Journeyman, and only more can be expected. He has submitted to several competitions, and even earned a third place in a writing competition for his house against fierce competition, earning him his first crescent. This is more impressive from a young Obelisk. As a leader of his house, I have zero doubt about his abilities and readiness for the rank of Guardian. Congratulations Melvin.
