Dark dudes and dudettes,

Hey, for some reason the CSP Logo never shows up, so if anyone wants to give me a lesson on Outlook as to how to have it show up properly, that'd be great. :P Note:- I haven't changed this opening address since last week cos no-one offered me any help yet. Muppets...

Pretty quiet week, this week. At the minute I'm trying to go through all the reports on DJB.org, cos I wasn't at the meeting, so this report may seem a little sporadic. Though… the main CSP news is that HDS has a brand new Aedile. Lets all welcome Mage to the Clan! Congratulations on your appointment, and I look forward to working with you.

On a side note, Mage, you need to get in touch with Magus. At the minute he's got a load of school work to do with the end of the year, so you may end up doing the reports for him.

As well as welcoming Mage to CSP, I can also welcome back Krail Darkblade! Woo-hoo! Older members of the Clan are sure to remember him, and he is rejoining HAD. Please remember no to approach him if he isn't wearing any pants, cos he gets cranky. But on a plus side, that means we now have two people buying the rest of us drinks! Mines an Alderanian Ale thanks!

Okay.. What else…

I went to see Matrix Reloaded last night and I have to admit I am pretty impressed and can't wait to get it on DVD this week sometime. Er… did I say that out loud? Just as well we don't have to worry about the HCI any more! Haw-haw! I stayed with friends and as such have been away from my computer for about 32 hours. Blimey… how many emails can all the other Consuls and DC send in 32 hours? I think they have nothing better to do.

Anywho, one of the threads mentions the Clan specific Force powers. This idea was started while Saitou was Consul, and the one he put forward for CSP was Animal Empathy / Control. I'll send out a different email over the YahooGroups to see what you think about this, and I need a pretty quick answer…

As well as that thread there is another one from the P:DGM asking for updates and reports on all that is happening inside the Clan that isn't contained within my reports. And then I suddenly realised that I have left a couple of things out for the past week or so. Since me and Lorad have been working on the Clan System stuff, I've also hijacked JKast into trying to learn how to create levels for JK and JO (or only JO if it's not possible to do both). I've sent the info we came up with (that’s on the CSP message board) and I'm waiting for a 'yay' or 'nay' from the RPG dudes and dudettes.

As I reported last week before anyone else, the next edition of the Dark Voice is now being put together. I've already sent what I hope to be the first of many regular reports, and both Mejas and Kaine are looking for more writers and artists to submit stuff on a regular basis. As well as regular writers they also want all the usual crap you normally put together. Should you wish to participate, then please send all submissions to Kaine ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Mejas Doto ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]). I presume they'll be accepting anything and everything as long as it hasn't been included before.

Competitions:

Independence games - VERY Important:

This series of competitions is now underway and close to finishing. Loads of competitions that are geared towards being fun, fun, fun, and there are some very intriguing ones in there, such as write a story using a set number of letter 'e's, JK2 kicking contest, and speed trials in XWA I think, rather than the normal shooty dodgy thing you Sithites do so well. Go get doing those comps!! (Especially mine :P ) Not only do you contribute to your own personal tally of points when you take part, but you also add to the overall House and Clan scores too. Isn't that good.

Clan Systems change - VERY Important:

As I mentioned in the main body of the report, we're working on the Clan System, as the planets and crap we used to live on is owned by someone who left for the EHDB. Check the Clan website for the info on the planets and moons and crap we've already come up with. What I also need is people who can do graphics, level design on all platforms, and anyone else who wants to offer their help with everything else.

Krath Monthly Topics:

Even through they are Krath MT's, you Sithies and Obbies can do them too, and it would be good to see you do them. This months topic for the fiction is "Divided Loyalty", and is to be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] . Fight Nights!

A series of JK competition nights have been worked out by the Shadow dude, full details on the DJB.org news page so it's easier for you to read it from there instead of my adding it here. The best way to get into a fight (apart from stealing my alcamahol supplies) is to sit in the Obelisk channel on IRC (funnily called #Obelisk) and shout at people until they fight you.
