Unfortunately, even though last week heralded his arrival in CSP, Maverick is going Rogue from the DB due to RL reasons. Hopefully we'll see him back in CSP soon enough, whupping all of our arses at all the Sithie games. :P

The Clan ladder is about to be posted on the CSP website… well as soon as I work out how to code it. I'll send another announcement after this report giving all the details. But basically, I want to see screenshots of all the MP matches you play against other CSP'ers, and you will be awarded points. Five points for a win, three for a draw, and then one for just taking part in a match. As well as prizes for getting the top place after a certain length of time, there will also be a percentage award, for the person with the best play / win ratio. All I need to do now is dig out the HTML crap I have to work out how to program it all! It will be, once up and running, listed on the Competitions page of the CSP site.

Certain people are looking for help on the DB level. Biggest and bestest of all: the Obelisk High Commander position is still open for applications to the GM and DGM. Think you've got what it takes to leave out bright sword swinging troopers? As well as OHC, Kaiann is looking for level designers. He needs an XWA level, someone to write courses including simple web design and graphics creation, and he needs something for the Obbie phase two exam.

We wait with baited breath for the results to Lorad's Super Power competition, and the announcement of Krail's competition, so keep an eye on your inboxes over the next couple of days. Lorad has also been showing us how it should be done (again) by winning first place in the Exodus competition.

Clan Systems change - VERY Important:

Woo-hoo! This has finally been approved, and this is how I see it working. The general House members are currently under the direct control of the QUA's, and to reflect the need for new members and expanding our numbers I have decided that in an RPG'ing context, all Clan members live on our Clan HQ planet, Judecca. As and when individual House numbers return to a level where BattleTeams are a possibility, then that House will be allowed to move to their own planet as set out in the MB.

Inter-Club Training Event - Cool!

Mav has organised a training event which should become a regular event. Part of this will be the clubs we have allied with, the Star Vipers and the Rebel Squadrons being the main ones, but there are a few others too. What is going to happen is that on Saturday May 17th at 4pm EST (think that's 9pm GMT) in Undernet channel #Outerrim there will be loads of other people waiting to take part in every multiplayer Star Wars game you can think of. Fight Nights!

A series of JK competition nights have been worked out by the Shadow dude, full details on the DJB.org news page so it's easier for you to read it from there instead of my adding it here. The best way to get into a fight (apart from stealing my alcamahol supplies) is to sit in the Obelisk channel on IRC (funnily called #Obelisk) and shout at people until they fight you.
