Good evening guys and welcome back to another of my weekly report.

First of all I want to apology with all of you for my lack of presence in last few weeks but as I have explained in my last report (well two week ago ) I'm kinda busy studying for my final exam as graphic designer. I have to admit, thought, that's not the only reason why I've not been really into DB stuff latelly and I belive that as your leader it's my responsability to tells you why I'm not doing my job at my best performance.

As many of you know already, I've been in the DB since Aug 99 and I first hit a summit position, as AED of House CAliburnus, back in dicember of the same year. Well, since them I've been away from a summit position for roughtly 6 months so it's more then 3 years that I'm in command of a House or a Clan. I have to admit that in all those years I have done all I could to keep my guys motivated, active and expecially happy but after sooo much time I feels like burned out and it takes me lot's of willpower to keep on moving. I have achieved some major results in those years and I have sucesfully resurrected houses long time dead to active status more then once and I thought I chould repeate that miracle here as well and I still belive I can do it, I just need a reason to go on. I'm waiting FF's and Jac's approval on something that will helps me a bit but I'll talk about it later...

Motivation, that's the right word I think. I lack a motivation as for now. Well, I first joined the DB looking for a place to have fun and possibly have some RPG moments. Now, in all those years I've seen that happens only briefly sooo many years ago that I can barelly remember them and even if you can not understand my reasons, something that it holding me back is the simple, yet important (for me of course) fact that I'm stuck where I was 3 years ago. What I mean ? Well it's kinda easy but if you haven't ever played an RPG with your friends and liked a character you were playing I don't think you can understand what I'm gonna try to explain. As I said, since I joined the DB I took it as an huge rpg just with a lots of players involved, and I started doing the impossible to impress my superiors and been promoted for my hard work, dedication and abilities in general, much like you go around a game taking experience and reaching new levels with your char (got the picture ?) Now try to imagine to play the same character for 4 years, to do more then many has done and because you have been under some, say, not really good leaders (aka CONs and PCONs), you are stuck at the same level you were 3 years ago ? Now, imagine to watch, aslo, other members that have been around half your time and has done half of what you have done rising in levels well above you ? How whould you feel ? I can't rule for you but I fell burned out. I can't really see a motivation, a sense of reason to keep doing my job, spending like each member of the DB that lives in Europe every night till late night to be able to keep in touch with your guys in the States or Canada (very the vart majority of the DB live) and to figure new ways to keep you all happy at cost of very few hours of sleep per night. I know that some of you know what I'm talking about but I hope that those in on the other side of the ocean starts to realize that.

I think that's the first real rant I write since I was a lowly ACO back then, jelling at Bull and Kimba for a problem with the SA but I couldent keep it cool anymore. But now that you all know why I've not been so active latelly it's about time to keep doing with this report.

DB News

1) Ok, a new MAA has been appointed and Kaiann is that man (d'oh!! =P) and I belive he will do a good job up there so Gratz on Him as well as the drinks heh

2) CG is betatesting a new version of the KKC (Krath Combat Center) and needs some experienced members to test it. For those that don't know what is it, well it's like a run on where you fight a match 1 vs 1 on the mb. You have a charcter sheet (your sheet) and you try to kill the other one. I played it for a while and it's really funny if you like to write soooo go test it.

3) The WoW are running and we need XvTer and XWAer (but not only them) and whatever you can play online to play under the flag of the DB agaist other online clubs. The prices are REALLY high, 2 CF for each win and 1 CF for each 2 lose blinks Man, you really have to play ! you get rewards for losing heh Sign up in Battlestats.com for the DJB and do your best.

4) The OHC spot is still open for application and if anyone belive can do a good job with it, apply to the GM and DGM.

5) Other, more important news can be found on the DB site or on the MB because I'm too lazy to write them now heh

Clan News:

Here we go. As I said in the above rant, I'll tells you what I requested to the GM and DGM. The possibility to open the other summit spots for application. I know we are few in numbers but I hope that it will brings us more members, expecially in the Sith area, and help our QUA, as well as myself, to handle the situation that I belive is now critical. We NEED activities and communication, something that I haven't really seen in this Clan but for the exception of House Byss at times. I don't know if my request will be denied but I thought it was right to tells you.

The Clan site will be updated with the latest news as soon as I find the time to do it so keep in touch.

Competitions:

There's still only one Clan wide comp atm and it's for the creation of a story for how we menaged to free ourself from the GA and the EH (remember we were alvaak once) and why we chose to follow the path of the old Sith Empire calling ourself Clan Exar Kun. I haven't recived any submission so far but I WANT some ASAP or I'll be forced to order to random members to do it at the cost of harsh punishment. Got the picture ? evil grin
