I have chosen a Praetor, as well as one of my Magistrates.

I feel Zekk was the best choice for Praetor. He has already approached me with a number of good suggestions, and I feel his interests coincide the most with my own: improving the Obelisk Order and making it a hell of a lot more fun.

My magistrate, who I'm sure most of you know (and love) is Battlemaster Dagger. Dagger has some decent skills with JK2Radiant, and I think he can make some killer JK2 levels for us in the future.

I appreciate the number of applications I got for Praetor; there were a lot of qualified applicants, and I hope to include them on as many projects as I can in the future.

As many of you may have heard, we are exploring the possibility of expanding into other FPS games. There are more than a few out there, but so far the list includes: Unreal Tournament, Counterstrike, Aliens vs. Predator 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Elite Force. Of course, this is all still in the discussion stage, but I will try to keep everyone informed.

Lastly, the idea of bringing back the Obelisk Cup has been mentioned. Although I'd like to try something new. I want to start with a series of low-level tournaments open to everyone. Those who do well in the initial circuit will earn invitations to the next level. Ultimately, this would result in a Championship match to determine the best Obelisk player.
