Don't worry Mage. The first CoL I got was only last year after having been in the EH for over 5 years, having held numerous commands and CS positions, and having had to demote myself and move up from a FM to a FL position. You ain't got too much longer to wait - compared to the billions of years in the universe's evolution at least - or even the tens of thousands of years since the Jedi Order was formed. lol... :D
CoL roughly translates to how much ass you kiss in one year...so kiss more or better next time Mage :P
Haha Shad :P it's not about asskissing :P it's about, well, as the medal says itself, Loyality to a Clan and it's also about your CON if he thinks that your Loyality is big enough, which is moot point of the statement. :P
I became SCL too soon. If I've waited just another month, maybe the consul thought I would be loyal enough, but now that I'll leave the clan soon :P

It's really not about a whole lot at all. 50% of the DC gets them. 0% of CONs/PCONs get them unless conceited enough to recc themselves. Last, maybe about 5% of the Clan membership gets them. The system is quite sad. :P
One of the problems there, Sharad, might be the limited number of these things we award...
The Brotherhood gets 3 CoL's per Clan, as recommended by the Consul - so, obviously, the Consuls will never get them from those. The Grand Master also gets 5. A total of 26 CoL's... across 450 active Dark Jedi.
On the other hand, the TIE Corps gets 3 CoL's per Wing (there's 15), plus an additional 3 per BattleGroup, plus 1 for each Elite Squadron, plus any number of CoL's recc'd by the Command Staff on a 'case-by-case' basis. A total of 61 plus any CS recc's, across roughly 550 pilots.
So, the TC gets almost 3 times the number of awards (as a minimum, no less) for having an extra 100 active members?
If the DB had 1 CoL per House (21), 2 per Clan (14), every main body Dark Council member got 1 (6), and then the Grand Master retained his discretionary 5...
That adds up to 46 - still less than the TIE Corps, but more fair realistically...
Just one very long thought.
